A collection not very rich but with several good pieces, including a Caravaggio, in a beautiful and well-kept frame.
The National Gallery of Ireland also hosts temporary exhibitions.
It is well aware of the positive spirit of the Irish people and of the progress of the country.

This is well worth your time. Go and see a really great art collection, especially if you have bad weather. The cafe is a bit expensive but the collection is free. You will need at least 1.5 hours here to see the collection...2 hours gives you a bit more time to stroll through without rushing.

The National Gallery of Ireland has some of the most beautiful works by both famous and not so well known artists. It's currently under renovations at the time of this article, so the small gallery you see is a fraction of the whole.

The gallery contains the original watercolour of Turner's "Hellelil and Hildebrand, The Meeting on the Turret Stairs" and it can be viewed by appointment.
