Pretty good. Could you but a pack of Nathan's at the store make your own for 1/6 the price? Yes, at least if you just get the basic hotdog. Slushies are good.

Frog legs, cheese fries & clams on the half shell. Oh & roller coasters.
Good old standard, but doesn't taste as good as long ago, but what does.
What can be said about this venue that has not been said already.
So good had the hot dog and a soft shell crab sandwich long line but went fast and totally worth it
Very good food and a must experience for every New Yorker and tourist.
it's a blunt and dull place. Zero thumbs up. just another hotdog vendor, no different than a corner shady stand. food is greasy and slimy. would you pay six dollars for a hot dog? or five bucks for French fries? for that amount of money, you can have a good fresh salmon dinner with grilled veggies, and not this heart attack waiting to happen.
thanks for reading this, friend!
Were the lines long? Of course they were. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely! A decent hot dog + giant beer + neverending carnival = what's not to love?
Cashier war unprofessional, more concerned with talking to her friends in the restaurant than serving the customers. My hot dog was not freshly made. My girlfriend had a cheese burger that wag pretty good and the fries were OK.
They make surprisingly good lobster rolls, but the waiting time is pretty long and if you go during a more busy day, the place is a total chaos and you will have to stand in a giant queue which can take up to an hour. Or not move at all.
Food tasted fine however was incredibly expensive, definitely a tourist-trap
Not the same as back in the day but still a staple of Coney Island.
If you're visiting NYC you must get a bit dog from Nathan's!
Terrible service, insufficient vegetarian options, enjoyable fries.
I love Nathans theres nothing like the original and now they have so many new options it's crazy
That's good food you know what I'm saying cus you know what I'm saying
Nathan's first fast food, and also the one where the race takes place. Very good hot dog (Austrian): the most "American" one and the one of the carts on the street. Excellent lemonade. Obligatory stop
Went with a friend this evening to Nathan's. Ordered two of the seafood combo. We sat down after the fireworks to eat, no fries, smh. We go back and speak to a Supervisor. She looked at the orders and have us two orders of fries. I was so disappointed as was my friend. What a waste of money. My friend said o should have gotten the fries with cheese and a hot dog. Fish and shrimp were over cooked, clams were good as were the fries. Did not even try the Cole slaw or the corn bread.
The girl that took our order was a sweetheart, prepared the food in a timely manner. Everything tasted amazing. Just a note, if you go here, beware of the drunkards in the area. They are everywhere.
Nothing like old school eating.love this place.my kids flip for it.thank God for Nathan's
Nathan's is always good. The service was great and they practiced social distance.
After a few minutes of disregard (early in the morning - nothing to do) get the average overpriced hot dog. It is not worth it!
Its not the greatest but it does serve Heineken, n finger foods
Lovely varieties of foods! From their famous hot dogs to their search foods!
Great Hotdog, that first bite you take...the snap of the dog with the juices flowing into your mouth...oh man...it was good...I only ever had store bought nathans and they were meh...but the original place...now thats an experience worth going for. Restaurant was large and clean. staff was helpful and friendly. lots of options available, but trust me stay with the original hotdog. no military discount provided.
Delicious burgers ... Tasty burgers ... Prices ok ... So if you do not have to count calories, this is the place to go ... but unfortunately, like everywhere else in America, you have to admit that here too, there is not much to protect the environment. Plastic ... plastic ... plastic pity ... there's a star deduction!
well what can I say- the original nathans- go for the fries- they are worth it= if you really want a hotdog visit finemans also in coney island. much better although nathans corndogs are fine
Seriously, who doesn't love Nathan's? The hot dogs are great and the service is pretty friendly. I like that the decor is simple, reminiscent of the way things are from the days of old. This is great for the family and even cute for a first date.
The one, the only, the original! The hot dogs here are quite unique to this location - don't assume that anything else with the Nathan's brand on it is remotely related.
Good hot dog, good bacon & cheese fries, reasonable price. Recommended if you visit Coney Island
Famous for a reason! Very good and amazing location
If you are looking for the best New York Hot Dog you can't miss Nathan on Long Island!
A stone's throw from the sea, in addition to the famous hot dogs they have a wide selection of fast food proposals such as chicken, shrimp etc ...
its hot dogs... they sell big ass beers though. a must stop for your 1st time in coney.
This place is famous for a reason. Their hot dogs are second to none. They're perfectly grilled, and they have a wonderful "pop" when you bite into them. And make sure to get cheese fries when you go too.
It is a good hot dog. The fries are also really good.
even on the hottest day in the super when people are usually at their worst because of the heat Nathans was still a great place to visit and great service. almost every friday in the summer i went there with my daughter to watch the fireworks and get hot dogs and chili cheese fries. now anytime im in the area i have to stop by and check it out. i'll be back soon
Nathan's was very good, as it's been for many years . I am glad the owners FINALLY gave the business a NEW LOOK, THAT EAD LLLOOONNNGGG OVETDUE !!!!
Having a hot dog here when you are in coney island is a must.
Coney Island is a beautiful place. Nathan's has a great hot dog.
I love this place!! Their lobster roll and chili dogs were to die for!
The best... And one of the last surviving original places in Coney Island
Non solo hot dog, provate anche il panino con l'aragosta. Consigliato. Ci sono 2 Nathan's famous li, controllate la fila di entrambi prima di mettervi in villa, il secondo da proprio sulla spiaggia.
Between the service we received and the wait time, I was not impressed.
Overpriced tiny hotdogs, would be better off getting one from a street cart.
Expensive tourist rip-off. But you have to have visited at least once.
Pure tradition. Old hot dog shop with delicious fast food dishes.
The legendary hot dog, whose first shop is in Coney Island. Address present in all guides, a must ... etc then go or not?
For the experience? Yes ! To be able to say "I have a hot dog from Nathan's"? Yes ! But do not expect something crazy. Just a hot dog ... with cheese or not ... with small pieces of bacon or not ... personally I still liked the fries. Do not expect an XXL format, the portion is rather small (but sufficient compared to the calories displayed)!
There's something about getting a hot dog at the real location that is so much better than anywhere else
If you are anywhere in new York this is one of the places you just need to stop. It's one of the best places to get a hot dog and the atmosphere is... Unique. There's nothing like being in coney island and having a real nathans hot dog so, what are you waiting for?
We visited Nathan s Famous Hotdogs while visiting Coney Island since they ve been around for several years. I don t eat much meat besides chicken so I cannot personally comment on the actual hotdogs, but my meat-loving bf loved his hot dog. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings. Everything was juicy and delicious, so I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Price-wise, everything was fairly cheap. My only recommendation is that this place should offer vegetarian hot dogs so that non-meat eaters can have a chance to try the iconic Nathan s Famous Hotdog (or at least feel like they are lol).
The place is crowded as heck but the French fries are worth waiting on line for
Always great hot dogs and assorted sides. Plenty of outdoor seating with a view of the sea. Given the outdoor-only seating, I would assume it is seasonal. The original Nathan's!
Great seafood options, and the mustard was really tasty.
No place to sit, the hot dogs are not to die for ...
Nowhere to seat, hotdogs are not that good ... Disappointed
