Nathan's Famous, Inc. Review

Not the most exciting hot dogs, but is a must to visit! Toilets were really nasty and dirty.

Very disappointed, for years I've been eating their lobster roll, it is now 1/3 the size and 13.99 not worth it at all

Best place to get a hot dog and the fries are great too!add the smell of the ocean and all the people during summer but, anytime of year is good.the only bad thing are the lines..definitely needs some order so you have an idea who is before you.

Best place to get the original Nathan's hotdogs, a little pricey.

Fast service, expensive, and very few tables to sit. I tried the Coney Island Lager beer and it wasn't very good. There are many registers where you cam order so don't panic if you see a long line because it moves pretty fast. They have ketchup and mustard dispensers outside. I think 22$ for 2 hotdogs, fries and one beer is too much.

Expensive. Greasy gets. Nothing to get too excited about.

Very busy, but worth the wait for the famous dogs. But, they sell other food such as fries, oysters etc.

Characteristic fast food, good alternative to McDonald's, different hot dogs and sandwiches of both meat and fish .. even here free calories. Great post beach or lunapark break

We were told the hot dogs tasted better than any other and weren't sure until we tried them, but damn they were everything we were promised and more!

It ain't what it used to be. If they started off like this - they wouldn't be so famous.

Institutions such as this shouldn't even be review options. Nothing happens at Nathan's that isn't supposed to. The total experience is as its meant to be.

Romanticize the memories enough and you'll find yourself not only buying Nathan's franks exclusively from your grocer back in (insert city/state), but also buying a noticeably greater sum of the hotdogs per annum.

Nathan's was certainly never a bucket list destination for me - BUT I can certainly now say I've been. So I've got that going for me.

Who doesn't love Nathans? Best hot dog you'll ever eat. Fast service. Very crowded in the peak summer season.

The original. The lines are terrible and the flow is poor. Try using the express lines on the right-most side.

Great, classic coney dogs. I'm glad I checked this off my list.

Even for NYC, these are pretty expensive hot dogs north of $4. Considering we arrived at 1:00 on a Monday afternoon, the lines were long and took about 20 minutes to get through.

I think its more nostalgia than anything. The food at Nathan's is good but the boardwalk experience, the amusement park and the beach and pier are what is relaxing and fun to stroll through. Obviously doesn't hurt to be enjoying a hotdog while doing it.

It's the only place to go. It's a NY institution! They need to work on sourrounding area..Kind of trashy.

Unmissable experience if you are in Coney Island. Historic place with great food and excellent Coney Island beer

It's the original Nathan's. Had to make a trip here even though it's pretty much the same as the other restaurants throughout New York

Loved our server Bryant (I think was his name). Big smile, friendly service and great food!

NY's best hot dog. The potato was not very good the day I went. Traditional option is chilli cheese dog with a Bluemoon!

Its always amazing. My grandma ate there and I will too.

Delicious. Lovely outdoor seating with umbrellas for keeping cool. You can eat and people watch. It's close to the subway and close enough to the boardwalk. There's also one situated closer to the boardwalk and beach.

Classic food for a day at the boardwalk. Make sure to grab a hot dog and some fries. The onion rings are also great.

Great hotdog and fries, the service was slow and bad.
We went on a Saturday and despite the lines not being long, they take a while to move. We ordered hot dog and beer, but the handing out was disorganized and the staff was rude.

The staff are friendlier. Plus they've gotten much better with the food handling and prep. I got food poisoning bab l in the 80's from some raw cherry stone clams I ate there.

The fried calamari and what are used to be but Nathan's Franks will always be Nathan's Franks. Delicious Franks, delicious fries and delicious frog legs

A rude guy behind the counter must be a twin brother to the Soup Nazi (reference Seinfeld). An ok dog on a cheap bun with a slap of mustard. for HOW MUCH? $$$$$$ Not worth even $2. When I asked if I could get anything else on that, I was yelled at and told, "Pay & GET OUT OF HERE"!

Ya gotta really like hot dogs to spend the money for these...

Had frog legs and a cheese bacon dog both were really good! The only downside is the price.

A mystical experience: at any time you pass, tasting Nathan's hot dog is a must. Personally I took two "Chilli Cheese Hot Dog", but there was goodness for all tastes. In addition it is fun to read the various rankings on the recordman in the binge races of the previous years.

An iconic American Classic. You can't go wrong coming here, no matter what the season is, it's a great place.

I grew up in Brooklyn and spent a good amount of time at Coney Island. Eating at Nathan's was a given. I recently visited family in NY and they wanted to bring me there. I was thrilled at the thought.

The franks and fries are a classic!!!!! They taste the same as I remember from fifty years ago! Good Lord I hope they changed the oil since then......just kidding. Nathan's just knows how keep a good thing going!!!!!

One thing, and it is a suggestion I would love to see materialize into reality. Please consider bringing back the roast pork sandwiches and chow mein sandwiches that the used to serve way back when. Yum!
