A beautiful hotel we were there for the second time and we would go back anytime again.

Family all inclusive club hotel. Beds not good ....!

Everything completely new and stylish.
All staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.
Thanks again to Sergio our waiter.
The beach is right by the hotel and in short a dream.
The beach chairs are super comfortable and the water sensational clean.
Food very good and varied.
I can also recommend the two other restaurants in the hotel. The Taverna on the beach is a must.
All in all, the hotel is the perfect choice.
The 5 stars are definitely earned.

We landed at Heraklion airport. After an hour and a half by car with the rental car, we made it. There are enough parking spaces on the hotel grounds.
The reception was very friendly and in perfect German. Everything was explained to us in detail and the nice lady showed us our suite.
The rooms are very clean and tidy (see pictures). All drinks in the minibar are included in the price, but they are only filled up once a week (Sundays).
There are 3 restaurants. We were often in the buffet restaurant.
There is a lot of choice and there is something for everyone.
But after 1 week it was enough. What we missed is, for example, a nice beef steak or freshly grilled.
It was almost the only hotel where you can eat for almost 24 hours.
There were shows every evening and the mini disco every day.
The waiters are friendly and attentive.
Our conclusion: the hotel is well located, especially the beach is great.
For excursions you have to min. 1 hour drive.
There are enough shops and supermarkets nearby.
Whether we will ever fly to Crete again is in the stars.

The Hotel Mythos Palace is a 5-star hotel that deserves its 5 stars. There is a large green area with palm trees that is very clean. The beach is very close: the finest sand and very clean! Beach chairs were always free. The pool is smaller than it appears in the hotel photos. The whole area is very clean.
If you're looking for peace and quiet, you've come to the right place!
Shortcoming: Due to the Corona, dinner was always cold!
Otherwise, the measures against the spread of Corona are implemented very well! You feel very safe.
The nearest shops are approx. 700 m away.

Splendid resort. All at a very high level. Service available and kind. Spacious and elegant sea view suites. Wide beach and with super comfortable beds. Cooks up to par. All inclusive appreciated

It was very nice here.
Rooms were not soooooooo great, but they did work (though we had booked budget). Food was great and beach and pool were never really crowded. We enjoyed it very much, the hotel is only recommendable.

For everyone who loves beauty, good rest, great meals, swimming pool and private, I recommend Mythos Palace Resort. A large, sandy beach, warm sea and charming sunsets.

New resort (renovated in 2017), very friendly staff, especially angelic, but also all the waiters, too bad for the repetitive cuisine and for the absent animation for the Italians (only for Germans)

Fantastic honeymoon, beautiful structure and good food. The staff is very friendly, the sea is clean. It is located a bit in the suburbs, but by bus it is possible to reach the nearest cities.

Already booked twice. The hotel is very good. The hotel area is maintained daily. The staff is very nice and helpful. Even to the rest I can only say good things.

ALWAYS BALLS. 2) EACH YEAR CHANGES 50% OF THE PERSONNEL BY PERSONAL PAYMENTS BY THE OWNER. 3) THE HOTEL IS DIFFICULT TO THE SEA, BUT ONLY IN DOUBLE. WITH RESULTS TO HAVE A VERY GOOD AND IMMEDIATELY BROWN FROM THE RIVER, AS WELL AS A SHOWER OF KOUNOUPI. 4) WITH THE BOTTOM (RANGE), ALL THE NIGHTS FALL AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE HOTEL.

Absolutely beautiful but unfortunately the staff was just not very friendly. It felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable, even though the resort was gorgeous.

Service, food, facilities, location - everything was perfect

Very nice hotel with its own beach and extensive area!
The rooms are nice, big and really have a great equipment, bars and entertainment are great and in offer and facilities very good, the same goes for the in-house restaurants, the finest!
However, if you plan to make excursions on the island, you should consider taking a rental car, which can be rented locally, as the buses are very busy and rarely drive. Plain: When the bus is full, he drives past and you have the look, the next came in our case an hour later (postseason)! Therefore definitely not forget the driver's license!

A nice hotel with a fine sandy beach. But a few things spoil the overall experience: traveled as a couple and had two single beds with castors and a huge column of visitors. At the front desk they said they would take care of it - the solution was a continuous thin sheet over the single beds, which didn't work.
Tiled floors are laid in all the corridors and there is a fairly large gap at the door of the room, so you can hear every movement in the corridor incredibly loud, every conversation, every suitcase that rolls by, the cleaning staff. And it goes on all the time.
There was a constant unappetizing smell of sewage in the bathroom.
The staff has problems understanding both German and English and brings the wrong drinks after ordering or they produce the wrong things at the buffet - instead of asking. In most cases the food was very bland.
The red flag was hoisted on 5 out of 7 days, the wind was so strong that you weren't allowed to go into the sea. The only pool was not heated and therefore cold.
The used toilet paper should be thrown in the garbage can and not in the toilet - the rooms are only cleaned every two days. All in all the vacation was ok, but not more. The 5 * rating is not entirely understandable, because design is not everything. And that was the only thing the hotel could really score with, and not in all areas.

This hotel leaves nothing to be desired and thus laid the basis for a dream vacation.
We ourselves moved into the room with the shared pool and have not regretted a single moment (no euro paid). The overall concept convinces with a mix of luxury, good food and a large selection of drinks. Particularly noteworthy is the animation team around Olga, Safi and Dimi. We have never seen such an open-hearted team as in this hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect to get to hotspots on the island within an hour. Or you can just linger on the comfortable loungers on the hotel beach.
Only the cups and glasses are showing their age. These should be exchanged if necessary.
We would choose this hotel in Crete again at any time.

Was one of the nicest vacations, food was perfect, very nice hotel.
The rooms are very spacious and there is definitely space. The cleaning staff came every 2 days. Every evening there was a performance, there was also a children's disco for the smaller guests :). To the beach, there is a flag system green = swim without hesitation yellow = be careful red = stay outside.
Corona technically they pay attention to it, in the whole hotel you don't have to wear anything, only if you want to go to the buffet, then put on your mask, you can take it off at the table.

Then to those who are still going, have fun :)

You will feel absolutely welcome in this hotel.
The food is great, the facility is great, clean and modern, the friendliness of the staff cannot be beat and the service leaves nothing to be desired. Pure feel-good factor!
I would come back here anytime!

A very modern hotel, it was all sour and tidy and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

You feel very comfortable when you arrive. Get a soft drink and
Refreshing towels in you to recover from the transfer. Then a personal greeting by one of the receptionists who also accompanies you to the room. The rooms were very clean. Equipment really high quality and exclusive. The complex itself and the beach and the pool were very, very clean. The fight for loungers is eliminated as there are enough very modern loungers available everywhere. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Even if a doctor's visit was necessary, an appointment was made by the staff for my wife.

Am since 11.05.2018 there and still remain until 21.05.2018! After initial difficulties start it's so slow! Was already before the big renovation here and I'm sure again!

Very pleasant and relaxing stay. Beach is the best Greece can deliver. You don't need swimming shoes unless you have extremly delicate feet. Sand is great and stones are more like gravel and only on the verge of water. In the sea, you can feel almost only sand, like 99% sand and 1% stones.Even better, the level of water goes deeper very slowly, 30 meters deeper you can still feel the ground with your feet. In late August water is so warm, I would say 26C, warmer than in the pool. For me the main advantage of the hotel beside the great beach is that nothing it opted out for al inclusive list. You don't have to worry about anything, all is included. Best cocktails I've ever had in a hotel in Europe - strawberry daiquiri and pina colada in beach bar are exceptional and mohito by bartender Alexis in pool bar is just mind-blowingly good. Food is indeed very tasty but if I had to choose what didn't impress me all that much was the variety of dishes. You can always find something very tasty, but I hoped for more theme nights and breakfast would be less monotonous. Tavern kyma is great (it's called like that for supper, for lunch same place is called beach restaurant) for grilled food, italian restaurant was a bit disappointing, pizza wasn't great. I like that hotel is not very big, 200 rooms or so. Most of the guests are from Germany, staff speaks both German and English. Definitely highly recommended !

Hotel and food are very nice and clean. The service polite and courteous. There are deductions because of the so-called spa area. The sauna was just for 2 people, old and dilapidated. The shower moldy, the water didn't drain. The area open, from the front door could be seen to the sauna. There was no toilet in the spa.
We also tried the massages. The first quarter of an hour was on the house, a nice gesture. A few days later there was a 30 minute massage for 60. We found that a bit overpriced and we said so. The answer was, after all, you would be in a 5 star hotel.
My husband and I had prepared for this combined hiking trip by calling the hotel and asking about the spa area before booking.
Nothing was mentioned about the conditions. The travel agency's task was also clear: a good hotel with a sauna and massage for relaxation after the days of hiking.
The Mythos Palace Resort & Spa is an all-inclusive hotel. This is completely superfluous on a 5-day hiking tour (Krauland) connected to the hotel, which also includes food in local restaurants.
