Synthetically a high price in relation to the holiday as a whole, compared to a 5-star Italian is definitely a 4-star offer below the details:
The sea that we found to limit the stars given in the globality of the review and absence of soft animation has had a great impact

Sea: the sea point where the hotel is located is anonymous, near the mouth of a river the area is silty (river with turtles and trout) and the water is a little conditioned by the river terrain. The sand is golden but similar to the ground being shallow and being often shaken with a red flag is not a pretty sight. We visited the beautiful beaches of Greece - Falassarna / Elafonissi - as a beauty on a par with southern Sardinia, but this point of sea is not worthy of note to enjoy it for 10 days in an all inclusive. A lot of wind always also force 6, we had only 10 of a calm sea but still windy on 10 days.
The gazebo in the front row for shade and wind is indispensable, even if paying extra with fruit service.

Structure: collection, excellent distances, possibility to eat almost always, a good all inclusive. Rooms to be preferred with the shared pool, a salvation on days when there is so much wind that you cannot stay on the beach especially for children. Our room, however, after the shower did not dry on the floor, there was no slope to drain the water and there was always a bad smell of sewage. Room x 4 really small, just a small path from balcony to bathroom remained. Council to take 2 adjoining rooms x 2. Considering that there is always a lot of wind the pool (and the places in the pool are so few) is small. The central bar available, except the one in the pool and on the beach as a welcome. Often the bar lacks chips and no spritz is provided.

Beach restaurant with limited personal offer. Better central restaurant but little variety for food (for example, only 2 fish offers and 2 meat offers for a 5-star is cheap, in Italy in 5-star like Robinson or Tanka there is much more variety and grilled than many types of fish and meat every evening at the same time) after 7 days you are fed up. Good variety of bread, fruit and vegetables. Good variety for breakfast. Italian restaurant nice but with reduced offer compared to the central one, the pizza obviously only in the form resembles ours: it is more a bun similar to bread crust. Used to reuse all the remnants of the previous days and not as intended by us. It is similar to seasoned bread ..... There are no gluten free and lactose free products packaged for a quick choice, there is no label with what composes the dishes which is an attention found in other 5 stars that is very caring especially for those who are allergic to multiple products.

Animation: totally absent, it is a resort for adults or for families with children. After midnight ... there is no entertainment for kids, not even a simple disco. The animation guys also try but they are few and poorly organized. In the evening the shows are slow and boring, only one evening there were comedian acrobats who raised us a little. The stage is small and there is no seat for everyone if they wanted to see the show. For Ferragosto, 10 seconds cash and a bowl of sangria .... very sad ... if we weren't in the company it would have been really depressing. Unfortunately we did not know about the structure so organized. . .with a son of 7 and one of 17 it was a relief the moment of departure ... so for our personal needs the Mythos was not a good choice.

Staff: very kind - Angelica makes the difference - except for a really rude cook I think of Indian nationality ... the request was for some white rice for the child ... as there was only with raisins ... to my specification that he didn't like it he also repeated me doing the caricature. Really unpleasantly whipped by his work.

It is a very, very nice hotel. We felt very comfortable here and we really well recovered. Great people here, all nice and friendly very clean and tidy .... SUPER.

I love this hotel! My vacation was just fantastic. The hotel has everything you need for a perfect relaxing holiday: extremely friendly staff, a great location near Kavros, great design throughout the hotel, nice beach, soft-animation which is not intrusive and great options (Aqua-Gym , Zumba, darts and beach volleyball, for example), excellent and varied food and cleanliness throughout the hotel. For me it was worth every penny and I'll be back for sure! Thanks for the nice time.

Room was nice, except that the hair dryer was broken, but we got replacement immediately. The food in the morning, lunch and dinner was terrific and the staff was very friendly and accommodating :) Also a very nice hotel owned beach and pool and generally a very nice building. We have spent the ns. vacation in this fantastic resort. We found the structure exactly as described, from the rooms to the restaurant etc .. Super nice staff. The hotel is a bit old. But otherwise all the best! Good food, nice beach and the entertainment for the kids is great.

Modern hotel with nice staff and really good animation. The food was okay. Corona caused a few problems at the beginning, but it went much better towards the end. Corona rules were followed well and a lot of emphasis was placed on cleanliness.

Very well-kept complex with 206 rooms, staff very friendly and helpful, unfortunately not 4 stars everywhere, because quite small buffet often almost COLD !, All inclusive did not deserve the name ... extra costs everywhere ... e.g. room safe costs 2 on the day (ugh) drinks quite expensive 3.50 for 0.25l cola etc.
Baths are underground but will be renovated in October 17 (supposedly) very noisy in the evening etc.
When you leave the hotel grounds, everything public looks very neglected.

But: Still a great vacation!

The hotel is superb! Location, food, living conditions 10+. The animation is pretty boring! (But after 22:00 you can sleep well. The contingent is different, mostly aged 30-50 with children. Mostly Germans and Italians. There are few Russian-speaking people.

Bel Resort! Well organized, very kind and obliging staff. Well taken care of, perhaps the garden that leads to the beach is not very well maintained. Overall I would say it's worth it!

Mini discos and entertainment pretty good. Very well decorated. Staff is friendly. Pool is big but half of it is very deep. Beach is right next to hotel. Little beach bar that sells drinks is very good as well as the beach snack bar. Has amazing cocktails, mocktails and other drinks!

If you opt for a suite with private pool, avoid the 405, 406 and 407 which have a pool too small and not enough privacy!

After a week and the arrival of the autumn holiday wave, you have to say that the German audience has changed into negative and you feel more in a 3 * hotel on Mallorca: towel fight on the beach, buffet fight, no distance is kept and everything negative what you know from Mallorca tourists. It's a shame that Germans have to behave like this abroad and endanger the existence of others out of pure narcissism. Hence only one star for Germans abroad.

One of the most beautiful and good value for money hotel from Crete. The food was excellent for an all inclusive hotel and the staff was very responsive and kind. I will recommend this hotel.

The perfect hotel. Design equipment, delicious food. Beautiful beach, beautifully furnished rooms and apartments. Just have a classic double room and you will be extremely satisfied. Close to Chania Airport, making a relatively short transfer. Definitely recommend, you will be absolutely satisfied.

After a previous contact this was our honeymoon, we were in a different room (booked garden view) side sea view upgraded. OK .. Unfortunately, we do not know if the other room in the evening would have been quieter, because about 100m from the room was along the main road (very very loud)
After the beach at 17,18 o'clock we went to the room and the sun banged in full. OK
Dinner (we had half board ONLY) by the way. Not that we can not afford Ai, but that we also want to go off the grounds, so I'm not second class, I thought.

Well no matter 50 meters right direction Georgioulolis run to the Vanilla Beach. Marco Marco has a beach bar !!!! Mega beach chairs and sunshade FREE. You DO NOT have to eat anything. Do we baer because he has the best tzaziki.

The day of departure was 12 o'clock shift, room had to be vacated.

We were there 3 years ago, it was not rebuilt yet. Everything was really there what fun, relaxation and holiday can feel. If you wanted to be quiet, could have it quiet. Those who wanted action got them. Children could be given in a kids club. The very nice offers had to deal with children. For example, they practiced dances that were performed in the evening with the children in a hall. The food was excellent and never too little. Lush, full, delicious! The facility is meticulously clean, inside & outside. Absolutely hygienic at the buffet and on the toilets. I liked the best, that I along the beach, in the next village and next to us the nature reserve extended - wonderful clear water which flowed into the sea. A dream to walk there. The villages in the area, I have VERY WELL PLEASED. Greece is NOT ALL IN ONE HOTEL! The other side to the old town, was WONDERFUL and something worth seeing! The only thing you can criticize, the plastic cups are offered on the beach. Because people do not manage to take the glasses off the beach again. So you want to prevent the beach is full of broken glass. You should also change drink mixes that are used in aluminum-plastic packaging, in vending machines. The environment is Greece's biggest asset. They should not exchange them for the money. The old boss, could be kinder kinder. Very unpleasant contemporary.

The rooms are dirty, timely cleaning is not performed. Every towel has to run. The staff is not friendly. Did not want to give new detergents, although all included.

A hotel with great staff, which justifies the five star review.

Located on one of Crete's nicest blue flag beaches, Mythos Palace was the perfect weekend stay for me and my family. Now that we live here on Crete, we try to explore the island via stayovers and long weekends in various villages and near noted attractions. Mythos provided the perfect home base and home away for our exploration of the magnificent Georgioupoli area. This is a luxury, all-inclusive resort that keeps its promise of taking care of everything for you. Highly recommended.

The Hotel Mythos Palace is a very beautiful, luxurious, modern and friendly hotel in a perfect location directly on the beach on Crete in Kavros, near Georgioupoli.
Completely renovated in 2018, the hotel is the perfect combination for us to spend our vacation.
The rooms are very large and luxuriously furnished.

The premium all-inclusive catering leaves nothing to be desired.
Whether fresh omelette and fruit for breakfast, a delicious Greek salad for lunch in the beach tavern or the huge selection of fish, meat and vegetables for dinner - we always found something delicious.
The team in the service, at the reception, in the restaurant in the MainBar and BeachBar takes excellent care of all requests, is quick and incredibly friendly. The animation team that looks after the mini club, sports and the evening stage is great. Fit, nice, not pushy.
You always have the feeling that you are wanted.

Tip: Of course you can spend several days on the wonderful beach, but it is definitely worth a trip on the beach on foot to Mikes Oasis (tavern), approx. 2.4 km towards Georgioupoli or a trip by car approx. 7 km ( you can also walk 5km) to Lake Kournas - the freshwater lake in the mountains in the immediate vicinity. There are some shops, rent-a-car and doctor in Kavros, about 700m along the main road.

At the end of our holiday there is now a summary rating. The highlights of the hotel certainly include the beach and the wonderful food! No matter what meal you go, it is always an absolute treat! There is potential for development during the cleaning and at the beach bar. Perhaps the recruitment of further cleaners and the reduction of the areas would be helpful. At the beach bar you should decide if you offer food or not. The current concept is nothing but half or whole. As part of the planned renovation of the hotel, the concept for the beach bar could also be revised. I can recommend that all inclusive package to book. The additional costs for half board are not to be ignored. The staff is absolutely friendly. It is not a played friendliness, but a real friendliness! This also without tip! Overall, it can be stated that the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Therefore, I can only recommend the hotel. We would come back!

We are coming for the second time to Mythos Palace fantastic beach with the exception that it was blowing some days. The accommodation is very clean and pleasant and the hotel staff. At the bar the cocktails are nice with a great variety for all inclusive. Good food with alternations we spent a nice evening at the beach restaurant watching the sunset.

Beautiful structure, new and with all the requirements to spend a holiday in pure relaxation. beautiful and always clean rooms. Main restaurant and beach restaurant with good quality and variety. Three bars (main, pool, beach) with excellent service and good quality cocktails (although they do not always use well-known liquor brands). Excellent sea spot with comfortable and spaced beds. Large pool and plenty of sunbeds. Minclub and children's area with a pool for the little ones. I do not give 5 stars for two reasons: the presence of an Italian restaurant "a la carte" instead of a typical greek that would make more sense and calibrated timing model of Teutonic (pool closed at 18:00 and end at 21:00 dinner ). Furthermore you could also think about more organized aperitifs (with dj ???). The spaces allow it.

Great equipment, very good staff, great atmosphere and all very friendly

Very well-stocked village, excellent welcome and availability at reception, very kind and very nice the reception manager. Basic rooms with everything you need, the ironing board and iron in the room were much appreciated. The only negative note are the rooms near the swimming pool which are a bit noisy as the entrance door is not well insulated.
Clean beach, umbrellas always available with very comfortable sunbeds, constant cleaning both on the beach and in the pool.
As for the food, during our stay there has always been great variety and diversity during all 7 days of stay, with excellent dishes of both fish and meat and many vegetables, nice idea of sushi at the moment in a evenings during the week. Really delicious sweets. Drinks and snacks at the pool bar and on the beach offer a wide choice during opening hours. Dinner at the beach restaurant and at the Italian restaurant, upon reservation, are both worth trying.
International animation is very soft and never bulky.
Really great SPA, including massage service, for a fee with a 15 minute voucher .. but it's worth it to get an extra package for all-round relaxation.
Note not 5 stars, however, the change of beach towels only from 10.00 to 18.00.
The location of the village allows you to easily reach the beautiful beaches of balos, elafonissi and falassarna.
Highly recommended.

Every star is rightly awarded. We spent a wonderful vacation here. Great beach, great view. Not far from shopping and traditional. Staff very courteous, here the guest is still very much appreciated. Room nicely and appropriately furnished, 43 "TV, kettle, we would love to come back.

Thank you for the great holiday during these "special" Corona times. We had a wonderful stay with our two children in a pool apartment. The animation team - thanks to Olga, Zafi and Dimitri - and the people at the restaurants and bars are amazing and super friendly. The beach area is fantastic. The hotel is really nice due to the renovation. However, the quality of the food could be a bit higher. Additionally, the waiting times at the buffet are too long because the stuff has to put the food on the plate. Finally, some kind of a dress code in the evening would be nice, some guests show up not accuratetly dressed ... Anyway, all together 5 stars because everything is nicely renovated, the beach is great and specially the people who are working there are amazing. Coco is missing you...

Very good 5 * hotel for people looking for peace and quiet.

We stayed for 9 nights and felt very comfortable, which was especially due to the nice, courteous service staff. The house is very clean and actually freshly renovated due to the poor quality of workmanship at one point or another would have to be reworked again if necessary. The house is rather small and has a direct beach access! The beach is really nice and spacious. The food was great except for the Italian theme restaurant. The evening performances we found rather not so appealing, the entertainment team, however, was top class: never intrusive and always pleasant.

Unfortunately, it was a bit unfavorable because a small child had shit in the children's pool and because the big pool was connected with the small pool ...

Great, modern hotel, freshly renovated in late 2017. The rooms have great bathrooms with spacious showers and the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Located directly on the Sanstrand, no rocks or stones in the water, a few meters from the hotel beach, however, a large rocky reef where you can watch some fish while snorkeling. The service is mostly friendly and the food has a high quality in my opinion and is varied. The alcoholic drinks are not so delicious or typical "all inclusive". The entertainment program is fine, who knows from Turkey shows, but here is not at his expense. The hotel was always clean. We would definitely return and can recommend the hotel.

Absolutely recommendable hotel. Nice rooms in different categories. Room to the garden with great views of palm trees and some sea views possible. The main restaurant has a good selection of food. Furthermore it is possible to reserve for free in the grill restaurant on the beach for different evenings or in the Italian restaurant. During the day and in the evening there are various bars in the hotel area. The beach bar is located directly behind the beach chairs. Top view of the beach. The pool bar in the evening the hammer with a view of the main bar with show stage and sophisticated entertainment. For lunch you have the choice in the main restaurant or on the beach in the grill bar to eat. Worth mentioning all premium all inclusive. Food, soft drinks and all alcoholic drinks including cocktails, mojitos, caipirinha etc. are included in the price. An all inclusive bracelet does not exist. Samples of the room card and ready. The beach is great, about 6 km wide for walks. Relatively few stones on the beach section of the hotel. Animation program is offered, but not intrusive. Guests mainly from Germany and Italy. The hotel will be renovated in the next week, so the rating probably no great significance ... Nevertheless, the rooms have this renovation also needed. Staff and facility are otherwise impeccable.

Well run hotel we enjoyed the food too, the staff is great and kind, the beach should be taken care of more.

Beach: The hotel has its own beach area with umbrellas and loungers - included.
There are also six VIP loungers for 20 / day with VIP services. Otherwise no service on the beach.
To the beach about 100m. Bar, outdoor showers, toilet and separate changing room available. The last meters to the beach lead over a wooden slatted path
The beach itself: fine sand, in the sea fine sand, up to approx. 20m in only a depth of up to approx. 60cm - also suitable for small children.

Breakfast: very good, lots of choice, well organized, no long queue, fresh juices, lots of fruit, something for every taste
Lunch: On the beach or in the main restaurant - both recommended.
Dinner:
1. Main restaurant: Variations of beef, sheep, pork, fish, pasta and noodles, local dishes and vegetable combinations, soup, salad bar is varied, cakes and ice cream.
2. Beach Restaurant: Grill variations, salad bar rather one-sided and small.
3. Italian restaurant: we were disappointed. Expected more. Big queue. Hardly any choice.

Drinks: Top - iced coffee, juices, alcoholic drinks, cocktails, good selection and good quality.

Cleanliness:
Room: relative term - swiped over it once and done - should not be used in a hotel with category 5 *
Hotel and restaurants: great.

WiFi included. There is also a reception on the beach.
Minibar and safe included.

Entertainment:
Make the evening program very easy.
Only water aerobics during the day.
Volleyball on the beach

Fitness studio (if you can call it that!) Is outdated. Devices very old. Fitness studio is located in the wellness area. You can hardly train here. The staff from the wellness area is quite upset when you come to train, you should train very quietly (preferably you don't come at all!) So as not to disturb the guests in the wellness area. Music is strictly prohibited, air conditioning not available!

We were at the hotel October 17 to 24 in 2019.
It was actually good hotel.
Different tasting food and drink .Good beach.
I only have one problem when looking at food for children. It would be good not to use chill for all children's foods. We chose a room with garden view, it was good enough space.

A very nice and relatively well-kept hotel. All employees were super friendly, some even spoke German and all of them spoke English. The food was varied and delicious. Something for everyone. It was somewhat restricted by Corona, but was solved well. The rooms have their little quirks, but the service is good. The beach section is large and clean. Through all incl. it was also very relaxed. The drinks are good too and lots of choice. The entertainment on the beach was also nice and not intrusive. A cheap rental car was nearby, with good, modern cars. A couple of taverns and small supermarkets. The pools were unfortunately too cold, but the sea was still warm. Definitely a recommendation.

Hotel furnished with design and excellent taste. Very clean and attentive to the covid 19 legislation. Good cuisine with a good variety of choice between meat, fish, typical Greek and international cuisine. Also suitable for children. Comfortable deck chairs on the beach and excellent entertainment. Nice complex with direct access to the beach and free loungers. Food was good. Staff very friendly. Cons: Loud music and screaming from drunkards until just before 1am. In the morning at 7 o'clock the night is already over, as the cleaning women with their carts blast over the tile joints with a deafening noise. We were unlucky that the cleaning ladies' meeting point was right in front of our room 155. In addition to the noise of the wagons, the cleaning staff were talking and laughing. Unfortunately the doors and windows are so badly insulated that you think people are standing next to the bed. The resulting lack of sleep can then be made up on the free loungers during the day. The mochito at the pool bar is highly recommended. Under no circumstances order the cappuccino in the restaurant, definitely move the coffee break to the beach, there you have a real portafilter machine and the cappuccino is fantastic.

We spent 7 wonderful days in August, all perfect despite the problems of COVID restrictions. I highly recommend it.
