MySpace NYC Review

Oliver Makula was my roommates and I realtor and he did an absolutely amazing job. He was very responsive, friendly, informative, and straight forward. He sat down with us and we went over what types of places we were looking for and where and he was able to find amazing places for us, both within their own database and as well as reaching out to other landlords. After showing us a few places we decided on one, put in our application (which I super easy online) and the next day we were approved for the apartment. The whole process was extremely seamless and easy.

After a long, topsy-turvy search for an apartment, Myspace NYC was supremely helpful and supportive as we finalized our lease.

Jess was amazing! She worked with me to find a place that met all my annoying specs, in my chosen neighborhood, that - best of all - I could afford! I love MySpace!

I had a really tight turnaround for finding my next apartment and I had begun to get frustrated with the level of professionalism and responsiveness I had been receiving from realtors .. well that s until I met
Kanree Wright . She was a true blessing that helped me navigate my move virtually all the way from Atlanta! She responded to every question and was protective of us during the lease phase to make sure that we understood all the contract language and would be armed with the information to have a great experience in our new Space. Kanree is a blessing !

It was a pleasure working with Myspace and our agent Dylan was very kind and honest. He was in no way pushy, which was really appreciated. He was very thorough in answering all of our questions and even took the time to show us our apartment twice upon request. The offices in Brooklyn are really comfortable compared to others we visited. Overall great experience!

Had a great experience with Dylan and the MySpace team. As others have mentioned, a very quick turnaround on the application approval and Dylan was very communicative throughout the showing and app process. Not pushy at all like some brokers and listened to feedback I had on other apartments I had seen and offered his honest opinion on how the building we were viewing stacked up against those options.
Would definitely recommend anyone looking for an apt to at least reach out to Dylan and the MySpace team.

Trey with MySpace was so helpful and found us the perfect home. He listened to our needs and the second place he showed us, we fell in love. The process was smooth and him and our closing manager kept us updated and stayed in touch every step of the way and we were able to close in less than a week. :)

Kanree was flexible and friendly. She was a pleasure to work with.

DO NOT WORK WITH MYSPACENYC due to their irresponsible, unethical, and quite frankly illegal behavior my roommate and I have yet to be reimbursed for over $2,500. We saw an apartment with MySpace and decided to move forward with it. Everything went smooth at first. We had signed a lease, paid first months rent, and a security deposit. Then the day before we are supposed to move in our broker, Eitan Feuer, notifies us that the building does not yet have a Certificate of Occupancy from the New York Department of buildings. Eitan blamed this mishap on the Department of Buildings. We checked the Department of Buildings website and the DOB received the application for a certificate of occupancy inspection on July 31, 2018, the day before we were scheduled to move in. [Please note that it is illegal to facilitate a lease on a building that does not yet have a Certificate of Occupancy, so they should have never allowed us to sign the lease in the first place.] We were told that we would be in our new apartment in a couple of days. Ultimately we were not housed for two weeks. We are now out money for the moving company, returned money orders for our original apartment, and a couple of nights stayed in an AirBnB.

Jamie Pelletier was amazing to work with. She s very honest and down-to-earth and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend using Jamie at the Williamsburg MySpace location if you want a hard to find apartment and prefer a calm delightful person.

My partner and I just recently got approved for a beautiful apartment with Myspace NYC, and our realtor Jessica was very experienced and easy to communicate with. She got back to us right away and helped us snag this gem before it was too late!

I need to rave about how incredible a job Christian did in securing this apartment for me. Not only was she knowledgeable and efficient- she approached every interaction with kindness. Even when faced with the leasing agent who wasn t the most responsive she was transparent about the situation and the work she was doing which I greatly appreciated. Christian even went as far as to take a video inside the space of an apartment which I wasn t available to see. She truly went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking at apartments.

I ll start with this. Hue was amazing and she worked incredibly hard, diligent, dedicated and focused with getting me a place. Her service and sheer determination was outstanding and definitely something to admire. She worked around my insane hours and did all she could to get what was needed. I would recommend her through and through, she gets five stars for her work and ability to go above and beyond for her clients. As for the company plenty can be said and honestly nothing good in my opinion. I ve rented houses, rooms and apartments all across New York, Florida, Georgia and upstate, I ve got to say the process that the company puts you through is extremely excessive, unprofessional and borderline identity theft. This company not only forces you to put a deposit down without being approved or even seeing the place but they request pretty much every document known to man just for them to consider. This company and landlords clearly thinks they re renting out mansions or the Taj Mahal because what they ask for is insane and if denied the return deposit takes over a 7 days cause I m still waiting. I ve rented moved and rented more places then your average person and none required even half of what they make you submit forget about if you have a guarantor! Haha I mean heaven help both of you cause you ll be submitting more then just your life story.

Seriously the best broker experience I ve had in 25 years. Trey was amazing. He was attentive, calm and helped guide us through the process. I would HIGHLY recommend him. If we ever move again, Trey is our guy.

NYC apartment hunting is daunting at best. I walked into the Crown Heights office on a Sunday morning and was looking at apartments in my price range later that day. Brandon Sanders was fantastic to deal with and I d recommend both he and his team to any friends looking for a new place. They did a great job sorting through everything for me.

Jessica Foti is a great agent to work with! Highly accommodating and flexible. She works hard to fill your needs and I'm happy with the apartment I'm in.

I worked with Chistian Dosamantes and she was great! Christian answered my call right away and showed my various apartments without hesitation. She showed a great deal of professionalism and I will recommend her to anyone who needs a realtor.

The application itself was not overly complicated, and our agent was kind enough to show us the apartment multiple times. However, there were some points of miscommunication/misinformation (such as when we were getting our keys, and who to send application documents to) which made the whole process more stressful. Almost a month post lease signing and there are still certain things unresolved because Myspace doesn't effectively communicate with the management company.

Nicole was AMAZING at communicating with me throughout the entire process. It was easy to get ahold of her and she went above and beyond to not only show me the unit I was interested in but other listings that she thought would suit my needs. I appreciated that once I was approved for the apartment, which was an extremely fast turnaround time, the whole team was ready & able to assist me with any questions I had while finalizing the leasing terms & payment. I would definitely recommend MySpace NYC to my friends in need of a professional to help them out with their apartment hunt needs!

The main reason I gave this company 5 stars is their inventory, they have so many apartments in North Brooklyn (Bushwick, Williamsburg, Bed-stuy) and north Brooklyn (Crown Heights, Flatbush, Prospect lefferts) and more.

Great overall experience working with MySpaceNYC. Oliver helped my brother and I located the apartment that was the best fit for us based on our needs and wants. His transparency throughout the process was very much appreciated. On top of that, he's just a good dude. Would recommend the agency and Oliver to any apartment hunter.

Vicky Gallardo is the best realtor I ve worked with in the city. She is KIND and actually cares about what you are looking for in a home. She is very thorough, pays attention to your needs, and also doesn t pressure you at all if you aren t liking a property. Work with Vicky!! You won t regret it.

Tom was extremely helpful; I had looked at a number of apartments and dealt with any number of agents, and my experience with Tom could not have been any better. He helped me find the perfect apartment because he actually listened to me when he asked me about what I was looking for. He laughed at my terrible MySpace Tom jokes, and actually bothered to build a relationship both with me and my landlord, including facilitating a face to face meeting. Great experience all around, and I would recommend Tom and MySpace (the jokes just write themselves...) to anyone.
