In immigration,they need to know what are the visas available and should have the update of whats happening outside india...My wife waited for 1.5 hours eventhough she showed all the relevant documents to the immigration officer...He does not know what is her visa..How rude he behaves...really hate tvm airport..

Trivandrum International Airport is the first option when comes to people living in the district Pathanamthitta. At seasons the termal would be crouded. Although when compared to CIAL, TIAL has much more demand and hence slightly increased rate. But when compared to travel, Pathanamthitta to TIAL is better option than to CIAL.
Best part, I can walk down from my home. Even all the techies would love the fact that new terminal is nearby.
Sad part, not all domestic operations have moved here. Until that time a certain level of uncertainty remains.
The terminal as such is bare bones and good part of it is that you don't hv much avenues to spend money like Mumbai T2
The departure terminal has adequate facilities is better than the arrival terminal. It is clean and spacious. Arrival terminal is small and conjested. Earlier in the departure terminal, the family could also use the same entrance as the passengers and use a larger seating area inside but now it is changed. The older system was better I feel.

Trivandrum International Airport is located near to chakka by pass. Well furnished and all amenities available. There is a big parking area to park your vehicle. Due to Covid -19, the entry to the Airport is restricted. Only passengers are allowed to enter inside the airport.
Airport is nice .. but make sure all your bags are locked with the best available locks when guy check in . They stole shoes and belt out of my bag lol !! , glad I didn t have anything more valuable in my bag.. but that s creepy ,,, have travelled the world , some airports without even locking ,, never had an experience like this

The nice experience of morning arrival from Bangaluru, was alongwith the availability of taxi, auto rickshaw and public transport ie bus, for commutation along the beach. Bus terminates at Trv. rail station in 30 minutes apprx.
The international terminal is near the highway and the domestic terminal T1 is near Shanghumukham beach which is almost 5 km away from the highway. Dont miss your flights..

Best airport in kerala....there is two airports situated in Thiruvananthapuram....one is international and the other is domestic...a lots of flights landing daily in the two airports...the indian airforce office is also situated inside the airport...nice looking....one of the major airports in india also..
Very Much Equipped Airport With quite good Maitainance.Its huge its Clean and Full Of amenities.The Customer service are also kind to the disabled and Handicap People.No issues at the Security Centre But It was Nice to see the Car Rentals were also kind to us.Anyways The Service People dont charge any Tips too : D And the Wi-Fi Connectivity is Quite fine. Anyways Nice Pleasant Airport : )

I got a very bad experience in Trivandrum international airport parking... Those staffs in the parking session misbehaved to me very badly.

Trivandrum airport is one of the pleasant airport and very clean. I have been travelled last week via Trivandrum to Chennai people are very friendly.
Especially taxi guys are very polite and humble. I was landed around 2pm u fortunately due to covid I couldn t able to find hotel near the airport and all the hotels are closed.
Then I got a taxi went to domestic terminal find one oyo house it s very clean and no internet over there. I spoke to room I charge he said recently renovated we are processing the all stuffs. But I got AC room managed to slept and woke up around 8am finished tiffin and got the flight.

As per prices ... I found it expensive dur to less of connectivity... But everything else is great and smooth ... Not so big of an infrastructure but decent one and just near shangamugham beach.

Very good airport with all the facilities one can ask for. There is even a smoking room available. The airport is easy to be accessed from the city. People are nice and friendly. There is no long waiting here. Clearance is fast. Security check is also fast.

No Transit for International to domestic . U have to take taxi for that. In domastic terminal toomuch confused. Because boardind card, Displays and announcement all are three different type gates for a same flight number.
