Trivandrum international airport is the one of the four international airports in Kerala and it is 2nd bussiest in overall passengers and third in international passengers .it have two terminals termals 1 and terminal 2. Terminal 1 for domestic service and terminal 2 for internet services . Airport is well connected to gulf countries and male , Sri Lanka , Malaysia and Singapore . In domestic sector airport is well connected to the metro cities like Chennai Hyderabad Bangalore Mumbai and new Delhi.

IN 1970'S INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS STARTED AND IN 1991 BECAME AN INTERNATIONAL AIR PORT.

NOW DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS CAN ENTER TERMINAL 2 AIR PORT AREA THROUGH THE CHACKA ROUND- ABOUT NEXT TO ANANTHAPURI HOSPITAL. A TOLL GATE AND SOMETIMES QUE IS THE HEADACHE FOR THE PASSENGERS WHILE ENTERING AND EXIT.
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM RAILWAY STATION IS 5.5 KM AWAY.
AMBLE PAID PARKING LOTS AND WALLET TEARING CAFE WITH LESS WAITING SEATS ARE AVAILABLE.OFFICIALS ARE FRIENDLY BUT SOME ARE EXCEPTIONAL....

Airport is international with less no. of flights. Terminal looks good

Very poor safety standards. Even the road to the airport is not taken care of. Once you are in airport, there are not many shops available. No wifi facility is available either. Taxes however are very high when traveling through TRV.

Trivandrum International Airport operates two terminals. Terminal 1 handles domestic flight operations (except Air India) and Terminal 2 handles all international flight operations as well as all domestic flights by Air India.

Well, definitely better than the old airport, Relatively clean and there is a fair amount of seating both before and after security. It is a small provincial airport but can seem quite crowded at times. Early in the morning the queue for security was long. The toilet is reasonably clean.

The parking fee is free for just only 15 minutes. Out of 15 minutes 3 minute you will waste for driving from the ticket point to pick up /drop down point. One who has car has to park it outside the airport, wait till your fellow passenger calls you for pickup.

It's an average airport. Not very spacious. It's clean and services are alright.

Terminal 2 is international airport. It took us one hour after deboarding to come out of the airport. The covid checks and restrictions and registering at three various points within the airport. First we were made to wait for 15 to 20 mins in que as other flight passengers were going. Than another que for temperature check. Next point was check for cold cough. Next point was registering our mobile number. We were in four different lines for these purposes. All this could have been merged into one que or line. Just a suggestion of what i felt took us one hour to come out of airport.

Trivandrum airport was one of the best airport before. Now not enogh international flights and charges are high compired with other airports

Flight information is provided at most places inside and outside the Airport. Not much of a food court is present inside...

No lounge facility available. I arrived around 12.30am at the airport.. there is no place to rest for a night. I saw one CIP lounge but noone is aware of the access. Bathrooms were not that clean and no tissue paper available. its quite uncomfortable for someone who arrived at night. I saw foreigners struggling with the same thing.. Feedback forms are there but with no pen to write..!!!!!!!

The Trivandrum Airport has 2 separate terminals for domestic and international flights.

The international terminal was recently renovated and is quite decently managed. Much better than the international terminal at Kochi. There are only a few duty-free shops but the terminal is quite spacious and well designed.

However, the domestic terminal is an absolute mess. The terminal building is quite cramped and isn't properly designed and managed. The air conditioning is pretty much nonexistent and you will feel uncomfortable during the summer if you stay for long. Seating inside the terminal is extremely limited as well.

One among the three international airport in kerala . Situated closer to the city center only 5 kms and beside of bypass in the capital city. Vast parking area but parking fees is high. Easily approach by means of public transportation systems . Very clean and tidy premises.

Good in parking & travelers waiting seats not available in outside the airport. Carful for car parking fees payments & parking timings. Try to reach on time.... immigration checking is too slow...

Bad behaviour of taxi drivers. At the arrival time i called a outo. Bt the taxi driver behaved so badly.

A small Airport and seemed like the connectivity with Gulf. Probably the only Airport in India that I've been to where I didn't have to wait for security check-in. It is very clean but scheduling of flights with respect to Gates allocation seemed to be a challenge.

All the Air India flights operate from International terminal. It is not a silent airport with lots of announcements about the flight information. Shopping and dining options are very limited.

Good first aid service. Neat lounge with a wide selection of delicacies.

Very neatly maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Not very busy. Clean rest rooms. Prepaid taxi rates are higher than usual at night......watch out! Better to use an online cab service like Uber or Ola.

Staff are pathetic..unless you take business class dont expect to be treated well.Had a horrible experience there especially when i travelled alone with a baby.porters will demand more money by saying " maadam joli kazinj kaapi kku vendi endelum"'(even after paying the initial amount of 200rs at the porter service counter).other than that the infrastructure is pretty good ..food is definitely more expensive than other airports.

The prepaid taxi counter drivers are acting like gundas even in front of an ASI sitting in police aid post. They are asking 600 to 1000 rupees for just going to thampanoor alone..
They are trying to threaten the travellers...

Flights are operated from here to various destinations in the Middle east, Singapore, Malaysia, Maldives, Colombo etc. Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and other major countries are connected through Mumbai, Delhi, Singapore or through airports in the middle east region.

Airport is good for the category it represents. It is within easy rech from Trivandrum city and all sorts of conveyance are available. Airport taxis are available on arrival.

Different arrangements were made by government of kerala in view to Covid..shops inside terminals are closed and only few foreign exchange outlets opened... staffs and police were very helpful

One of the cleanest and beautiful looking airport in kerala.The roads to this airport is pretty good,which makes the travel more easier. The distance between international an domestic terminal is a bit more.Thats the knly drawback I felt.

Terminal 2 or international terminal is very near to Chakka junction.
Terminal 1 or domestic terminal is near Shankumukham. You need to go some distance from terminal 1 to terminal 2 by road.
