The parking fee collection kiosk at the exit of the airport is charging people incorrect parking fee. We own a mini automatic I10 and we parked our car in the airport for approximately 30 minutes. While exiting, the lady at the counter asked for 100rs. Luckily, we found online that the Airport authority parking fee for small vehicles is actually 85rs. When we told her this, she pretended she saw a big vehicle instead of an i10. This is the second time such an unfair attempt at money swindling is happening here.

Good airport.

Good airport.
During the time of takeoff and landing you can see the beauty of Kerala. It is called as Gods own country. Sea and long beautiful beach can see from flight. This is an amazing scenery. Kovalam beach and sanku mukam beach, veli, and varkala beaches are excEllwnt to spend time for travelers and visitors from all around the world.

Beautiful construction. But as an international airport it require more facilities. Recently many of the companies stop their services from Trivandrum airport. Due to this flight charge is very high as compared to Kochi airport. If the difference is 1000rs also we can adjust that rate. But frequently the difference will be 2000 to 3000rs.
So many of the passengers choose journey from Kochi airport.

Used to visit freqentlyMesmerized by the surrounding natural beauty of scenery and greenery of 'God's Own Country 'the Airport has international standard in amenities, facilities and infrastructure prioritizing security and safety of passengers with simplified check in ,check out, transit, restaurant, parking facilities, along with passenger friendly airport and ground staff. Lot of transformed development is noticed with recent visit having an over all class look, dedicated and disciplined environment adding decor to its architectural beauty. The connectivity to the city is very good. But there still needs measures to control overcharging menu prices, unauthorized transport system, hawkers etc at the expenses of innocent passengers. There are also confusion regarding parking and transport availability etc to layman passenger which need to be resolved.

Have been to many airports across India. For me, worst airport so far. No good food eatery's, mosquitoes flying around. Rest all is usual and nothing of special kind. Attaching photo of mosquito killed on my leg just for proof.

I've visited several countries and also the aiports. This airport seems not run by proffessional people. The airconditioning is very poor especially the Arrival areas. Passengers found restrictions on use of tissue papers. I found few frustrated passengers arguing for such cheap things in the arrival areas where, even other nationals get to know about our country, since it"s the place of impression. The baggages are simply thrown onto the conveyor belts and staffs are least bothered about the safety of what"s inside. Parking space is good and spacious, still found many violating the exit gate as entry, risking the lives of others.

Staff are very helpful.

Staff are very helpful.
The airport itself is pretty small.
Couple of places to eat inside.
The check-in takes a pretty long time, so better arrive early to the airport.

pre paid taxi, Uber(online booking) are available, so traveling is convenient

Good experience with the airport staff and especially from the security personnels. Well behaved and very helpful. Cleanliness is a bit of a concern which I felt for the luggage trolleys, especially during this current situation. And the maintenance of the trolley is also felt a little bit bad.
