Good improvement in standards except AirIndia planes.

Thiruvananthapuram Airport is one of the best airports in India. Its not crowded at all and you can easily do Check-In and Immigration clearance in very few mins. However on arrival, it takes more than 45 mins to get ur luggage back to ur hands. So don't waste ur time for luggage pickup and finish ur refreshments and get ready for luggage pickup. If u r Muslim, u will be always suspected in this airport similar to all the other airports in India, so be ready for such screening activity especially in the immigration!

Contactless check-in at the airport.
Neat and clean.
Small Airport includes both domestic and international in single area unlike Delhi that's why a bit of crowd adds on in the peak seasons of tourism but less walking towards the final entry point.

Kerala first international airport very nice. Well neat

Nothing spectacular inside just normal 2 storey building and its well maintained

Terminal 3 is the new one and International flights arrive here
THe A380's are yet to land here because there isn't enough space available

It's the gateway to Kerala.. with all facilities and good connectivity

International terminal is very well maintained and run well, the domestic terminal is not upto to mark of an international airport

Thiruvanathapuram International airport is the first of it's kind in keralam.It is named as Indira Gandhi international airport.It is just a few walkway from the beautiful shankumukam beach.over 350 air movements per day is executed here

New international airport... Very spacious compared to old one...

Easy to access. Hustle free area. Proper sign boards are available everywhere.

More parking space. Terminal looks good and clean after renovation.

Feels a bit odd to write a review about an airport , that too a one that is owned by the AAI . What's the point in it ?
Any ways , TRV , though a small airport, in terms of connectivity is far better than some of those international airports in the Balkan countries . Thanks to the middle eastern carriers , TRV is well connected to almost all the important destinations around the world .

Terminal 1(Domestic Airport) at TRV is one of the worst airports. The displays keep on showing ads instead of flight status, even near the boarding gates. To check flight status, I had to use google or keep a close attention over the announcements being made. Moreover, the smoking room was so close to the sitting area, making it really hard to even sit there.

Please be informed, domestic Airport is far from international airport. Both are separate.

Average airport considering the fact that it's the capital of Kerala, with very limited dining or shopping options inside the airport. No lounge access available anywhere. Seems like a airport out of the 90's. The staff were courteous and friendly. Apart from that, a lot of development needs to be undertaken to make this a world class airport, instead of making new airports in other areas in the state.

Would ve rated 4 stars if the International and Domestic terminals were less confusing. The passenger support system from airport is non existent too.

Easily accessible from the city. The view from the flight is simply awesome, one side sea and other side all greenery. Truly felt it's a God's own country.

Car & bike parking facility is available but parking fees is too much

Not even a single good restaurants inside the airport.....AC also not working properly ....you can eat only local food and chai

Very simple airport (domestic terminal).No restaurants at all, except water and cold drinks you don't get anything. No other stalls or shops. Even outside the airport there is only one restaurant (Domestic Restaurant) with very basic needs and one juice shop which opens a bit late. I think some railway stations are better equipped.

Parking fee is expensive than Kochin International airport.

Good. It is the first airport in Kerala . The facilities need to improve and staff coordinate is ok not up to the high. Proper maintenance inside the airport. All international flights are available . Can improve more with good and efficient staffs . The duty free also need to improve alot.

Executive lounge just charged me Rs500 for a bottle of Tuborg on a business class ticket. It says RRP rs110 on the bottle.

Very small airport, but not many facilities. Very few checkin counters, the lift to the boarding gate is very small can hold only 3 to 4 people at a time. Inside the boarding gate no good restaurant or lounge. It is awfully crowded as the seating area is very limited. Food in the stalls are awful.All above problems are expected in a small airport but when they charge INR 575 per person as user development fee we expect a lot more facilities than they have offered. Smaller airports than TRV has much better experience. (If we mention the 45 mins journey you have to take to connect to INTL terminal it is a pathetic airport)

It's the worst airport I have been to. Even worse than the smallest domestic airports. Don't expect any service from them except when u enter through the gate.

Always feels special when in Trivandrum international airport. Not much crowded, easy to collect baggages, emigration procedures also most of the time goes fast. Altogether good service provided for the passengers.
