Small southern states have beautiful airports. Trivandrum Airport is very beautiful too. not as big as Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi, this airport is very nice and all good amenities are there. after landing, and collection of luggage, one can come outside the airport and walk up to 100 meters in front where there is Kerala Tourism Pre Paid Taxi Booth and one can have taxi from there. upon completion of journey payment has to be made to the driver directly. keep ur boarding pass always handy as it will be checked minimum three-four times. it is nice one as u will not feel difficult in getting taxi or cab and people understand hindi bit too.......a nice airport matching stature of God's Own Country the beautiful Kerala................

Prepaid taxi here is good and cheaper, I paid the fare in the airport itself, as the car i have booked from a taxi company cheated me in providing service.

Airport have all the modern facilities and amenities. Departure hall is well maintained but arrival hall is quite congested especially baggage pick up area. Had an horrible experience there!! Main advantage of this airport is the connectivity to all the main cities.

Nice arrival and departure experience, place is beautiful, however surrounding area needs infrastucture improvement( outside the airport). Prepaid taxi and ola cabs are available. Surrounding areas were seen clean also the climate was pleasant in the month of april. Other facilities like washroom, ATM, free drinking water are available. Restaurants and snacks shops are also available. Overall this is a very good airport and managed well.

Irespectful staffs in boarding. No helping staffs for the female passengers who are carrying infants and luggage.
Telling unwanted reasons , finding unrelated mistakes and making delay..
They made almost 2 hrs delay in boarding without any proper reason for my wife and kid.
Your boarding staffs are suitable to work in laundry not in airport...
I request the airport authorities to contact me regarding this...

Just average and too nuch hassels in the name of covid precautions with no productive outcome. Outdated infrastructure. Needs innovative SOP and trendy outlook. Gives the impression of a above average Kerala government office.

Beautiful airport. Hope they integrate Domestic services too.

Excellent airport.
Comparing with other Indian airports this less crowded and much accessible from entire city.
Thing to note. International and Domestic terminals are way apart. So be sure which terminal you are going to use.

I think it's AAI run airport and can't expect more than this. Baggage and security check can be made much easier. Food stalls are limited but provide cheaper snacking. Airport does provide pre paid taxi options. Washrooms can be better

Beautiful Airport... Easy access from city, Just 15 Min Drive

Use domestic terminal T1 with Spice Jet. (A pretty picture of the word of mouth is T2 of the international terminal.) T1 is on the beach side, and on the opposite side of T2 on the city side across the runway. The facilities are as simple and clean as Japanese local airports. It is impossible to stay at the airport in the arrival lobby.
I was able to enter the departure lobby at least 2 hours before departure. The self-check-in machine is located behind the checked baggage inspection area. There is a shop on the first floor, but there is a subway in the waiting room on the second floor after the security check.

First time in this airport, no crowd at all outside the airport security check, check in counter, immigration& security check. Maintained good Housekeeping& cleanliness at the restroom but One suggestion, pls implement cashless transaction at all snacks bar& restaurants. Luckily I have enough money to drink coffee. Even the officers are very kind and welcoming.

Good mini airport with services right from immigration to food and handicrafts.
While you land from flight or while entering into a flight... You will see glaring transparent glasses... My god thats really painful.
If traveling from/to mumbai... Be assured that flight will be invariably delayed by minimum 1 Hr.

Security is rigid and slow, and there are very few options for eating and shopping, and next to no good places to sit. The airport is dated and old, in desperate need of a renovation and better management.

Though a small airport but it is very clean and quiet. You don't have to be in hurry for luggage check in or that rush. It's manageable. Even the ground staffs are helpful and proactive. Washrooms are maintained properly. The interior are well maintained, the services they provide to the customers are good enough. You can be little relaxed either after landing or prior to that. This airport won't give you that palpitation.

Uber do support pickup and drop now. Verified, though some may say no. For 15 mins there is no parking fee.

Clean and basic airport. No rush and ample seating space. But there is no duty free [the small duty free which was there previously is not functional since years].

Trivandrum airport is a hub for kerala/Tamil Nadu people's,but the authorities are not wisely utilizing the facilities,They are reducing the number of flights day by day.
There is no duty free shops no bars no lounges, everything closed & simply spoiling the airport.

Nice. It's one of the finest and clean airports in India. It's near to the Arabian sea. Sanghumukham beach is near to it. There are so many connections with the history and culture. The killing factors are every service here are charged highly.

People are calling it as 'one of the best' airports of India. I don't agree. It's pretty small compared to other 'best' airports. It's like comparing an ant with an elephant if you compare it with Kempegowda. Be aware, there are two airports in the city. One is the domestic and the other international. This one's called Terminal 2. I was going to miss my flight, as I had accidentally went to the domestic airport first, but later I found out that most flights leave from Terminal 2. Couldn't they make a simple one airport?

The customer service is very poor and people sitting there are discouraging travellers.No printout section is available.very poor

Very nice airport. One of the main quality of this airport is cleanliness. 24 hrs Taxi services are available here. We can also avail online cab services like Uber here. We have to pay parking fee on a time basis. If we are just dropping a person and go, we dont have to pay anything. Parking fee is bit high here. Many tourist spots and hotels in Trivandrum are easily accessible from here.

Kerala's first international airport. But, sad to see that this airport has been neglected like this. Comparing trivandrum to kochi airport is not at all worth it. Kochi airport is better in all aspects. Hope to see more traffic here which will enable airport development. If PPP model becomes true, probably the airport might improve. Cost of travel from trivandrum to other destinations should also decrease. For some destinations, traveling from kochi is far cheap than from trivandrum. Hope to see this airport improve, after all trivandrum is capital of kerala.

Awful experience at Trivandrum airport flying with Emirates. This is an international airport and fails to provide a working card machine to take payments which I found unbelievable. The weighing machines at the check in tills show a higher weight than the self weighing scales at the sides of the airport. I wonder if the scales are rigged if I m honest. As a passenger please do check and raise this with staff if you enter any time soon. (I didn t have the chance to)
The security staff as you enter are incredibly dismissive, rude and arrogant for no apparent reason. The staff on the check in tills try to be helpful but when the structure and organization is so poor - this is an onerous task. If you re trying to promote tourism of the country- start by making the airport experience a good one. Complimentary WiFi should be provided at a minimum for two hours if you are trying to lead the way for tourism. I am suggesting this after traveling all over the world - some developing nations of much smaller airports provide a much better service and as a basic- WiFi. I hope someone senior takes this feedback onboard and makes a change for the better.

Trivandrum is having 2 airports. One of Domestic Purpose and other one of International purpose. International Airport is located at Vizhinjam-Kollam Highway which is around 5km from main city. A Good Airport with mostly needed facilities. Private cabs will be more available from the airport than the local bus.

The airport even though the international terminal is fine, the domestic terminal accessibility and services are minimal and needs further development. Needs better commute to the city and technopark region.

It's a lovely airport will need to enhance the quality to compete with other airports

Very simple airport (domestic terminal).No restaurants at all, except water and cold drinks you don't get anything. No other stalls or shops. Even outside the airport there is only one restaurant (Domestic Restaurant) with very basic needs and one juice shop which opens a bit late. I think some railway stations are better equipped.

First time travel from TRV. Very depressed with the facilities. It's a review about the domestic terminal. I couldn't even grab a bite from snack parlour because I did not have currency with me? Seriously? None of them accept cards or any sort of online payments. And also there are no ATMs inside. People need to grow up! Who carries money nowadays anyway?
