Address stated Oldham road. Drove 10miles for this charity Rude and abrupt on the phone when trying to arrange to drop items off. Overtalking and not listening. Please find somewhere else to donate until they get better staff.

Love the new place. Can really see how there is a holistic approach to rehabilitation and back to work for each person. Long waiting list to be accepted to the project but good project to be on. Perhaps more funding or donations might help reduce the waiting list? Worth popping in just for the cafe and second hand store. Support a worthy cause.

Really nice staff. The building has been refurbished. A good place to volunteer and pick up new skills if you haven't got any work experience. They have an Art Class for the Picassos out there. You can also learn to play the guitar. There is also a shop where you can buy all sorts.

Dropped some donations off for a friend of ours. The staff were very polite and welcoming. Had a look at furniture for sale and purchased 2 items. The staff loaded it onto my car for me, nothing was too much trouble. Will call again. Thanks.

Awful customer service i have seen reception staff turn there nose up at homeless people of the streets. The staff and Ceo that work there get free meals 5 times a week as well as there wages sadly this place choose's who volunteers there and who they want beware a lot of ruthless staff work there they seem to want to cater more and support ayslum seekers as people born in this country have been destroyed and pushed out having to overcome barriers due to there health conditions Sadly those are the people that have been denied.i have also rang this service in the past and they dont return your calls that is very rude!!!

Well worth a walk around if pre-loved is your thing. Books, cd, dvd, bric-a-brac, household furniture - this place has got it all. It is cheap, you are doing your bit for recycling and the profits go to help disadvantaged people in the area.

About Mustard Tree

Mustard Tree: Combating Poverty and Preventing Homelessness

Mustard Tree is a UK-based charity organization that has been working tirelessly to combat poverty and prevent homelessness since 1994. The organization was founded by a group of volunteers who were concerned about the increasing number of people living in poverty and facing homelessness in Manchester.

Over the years, Mustard Tree has grown to become one of the leading charities in the UK, providing support to thousands of people every year. The organization's mission is to create opportunities for people who are trapped in poverty or at risk of becoming homeless, empowering them to transform their lives.

One of the key ways that Mustard Tree achieves its mission is through its food clubs. These clubs provide affordable food for those who are struggling financially, helping them stretch their budgets further. In addition, Mustard Tree also provides emergency food parcels for those who are facing crisis situations such as job loss or illness.

Another important aspect of Mustard Tree's work is its employment program. The organization provides training and support for individuals who are looking to improve their employability skills or find work. This includes CV writing workshops, interview preparation sessions, and access to job vacancies.

Mustard Tree also operates several charity shops across Greater Manchester where it sells donated goods such as clothing, furniture, and household items. These shops not only provide affordable goods for local residents but also generate income that goes towards supporting the charity's work.

In addition to these services, Mustard Tree also offers a range of other support programs including housing advice and advocacy services for those facing eviction or homelessness.

One unique aspect of Mustard Tree's approach is its focus on building relationships with clients rather than simply providing handouts. The organization recognizes that many people who are struggling with poverty or homelessness have complex needs that require more than just material assistance. As such, it works closely with clients on an individual basis to identify their specific needs and develop tailored solutions that will help them achieve long-term stability.

Overall, Mustard Tree is an inspiring example of how charities can make a real difference in combating poverty and preventing homelessness. Its holistic approach focuses not just on meeting immediate needs but on empowering individuals to take control over their own lives and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

In conclusion,

If you're looking for a way to make a positive impact on your community while combatting poverty & preventing homelessness then look no further than "Mustard tree". With over 25 years' experience helping vulnerable individuals across Greater Manchester area get back onto stable footing through various programs like Food Clubs which provide affordable meals; Employment Programmes designed specifically around improving employability skills; Charity Shops selling donated goods generating income used towards supporting our work; Housing Advice & Advocacy Services - we're here every step along your journey towards self-sufficiency!
