Very nice museum. Well ventilated, easy circulation and good exposure.
Nice museum. Beautiful impressionist paintings in a beautiful setting.
The most beautiful art museum I've seen since I know myself, it's huge! I'm not a big fan of art but I had someone who was good at it and explained a lot of the paintings on display. I was pleasantly surprised when I understood everything signified paintings! I recommend dearly to see with their own eyes the paintings and statues inside!
Very nice museum, with many interesting works from the Middle Ages to modern times, and of course many Monet and Pissaro. Free entry and more!
Sublime like toujpurs, and every time we come there. A pure happiness !
Place that puts your eyes!
Expo Georges Braque and his "friends" until September 2, 2019
Great experience to see Monet's, Sisley's and many other fine paintings. Very helpful staff, and it was free!
I loved this museum my first visit in which I learned a lot about the city and its history
A must see. A very interesting collection and some paintings of masters. Caravaggio, velasquez, and Monet among others! The glass room is very very nice. It is a beautiful museum that deserves to be visited.
To watch again and again. The little problem, come by bus because otherwise no place to park or parking that is expensive. A nice little garden next door.
Elegant presentation of great works: Monet, Caravaggio, Velazquez ...
Very beautiful museum of beautiful pieces and works
Very nice museum. Very beautiful works. A must see !
If the museum is very interesting, its route is extremely poorly indicated, hence the incessant returns that spoil the visit
I went there for the night of the museum, the atmosphere was great, the activities offered as well. Apart from that, the museum is large, interesting to see with many beautiful works.
Nice museum. For me, all museums in which there are works by Claude Monet are good))
If you have enough time in Rouen and you like painting, I recommend to visit.
Well .... wonderful ..... Very beautiful paintings ...
Great collection. Free entry. Super friendly staff. Easy map to follow. No English signs or audioguide unfortunately.
Varied and large collection of high quality paintings.
must visit place in rouen.
cause you can feel real art in rouen. there are a lot of collection like louvre and monets painting. you would not have to missed that chance for the real painting. and price for the entrance is not expensive.
What a shame for such a beautiful museum and beautiful place to practice illegal ticket sales techniques for its exhibitions.
Nice permanent collection, plus it's free.
Even with a 9 year old child, we stayed close to 1:30 to contemplate the paintings.
On the other hand for the temporary Picaso exhibition count 12 .
Interesting and eclectic museum. Free is not negligible
Museum devoted mainly to painting (sacred, classical, romantic, modern). Three galleries are dedicated to the Impressionists, particularly Claude MONNET, SISLEY, PISSARO and their emulators. Grandiose: we also admire several paintings of the Cathedral of Rouen at different times by MONNET.
Too bad that the audio guides have been replaced by small explanatory leaflets very succinct next to the tables. Question of means allocated to the museum, no doubt?
Too much religious canvas ^^ '
But its still super cool
C without a doubt the best museum in Rouen. The staff is really welcoming. I highly recommend!
Exhibition Braque, Miro, Calder, Nelson, until 02 September 2019. Full price: 9 , Reduced price: 6 . Free entry for children under 26 years old. Free access to the permanent collections of the museum.
Very nice, very rich, and the guides know how to attract the curiosity of the little ones
Very nice surprise with many paintings of illustrious artists ... To do more is free!
Interesting collection, too bad the impressionist collection was inaccessible due to works
Surprisingly large museum with a fine collection. Admission gets you in to a couple of other museums in town too.
For the Normandy Impressionist exhibition, because the permanent collection blah (apart from Carravagio)
A beautiful building with a beautiful room to sit for a few moments in front of the reception.
The permanent collection is free, it is a very good point to make culture accessible. It lacks some "flagship" works to make the visit truly memorable but there are still beautiful monumental works, with appreciable diversity (sculpture, tapestry, model, furniture ...) To see!
It is a beautiful museum from its building to all the beautiful and monumental paintings and sculptures !!
Beautiful provincial museum. A high quality of collections on display including the Impressionists and their paintings related to Rouen, the region. Some discoveries at Claude Monet and Sysley. An original So British exhibition with some works from the Pinault collection that interrogate ...
Nice museum. Very beautiful collections of known and unknown painters (Italians, French, Netherlands, Spain).
Very nice exhibition on Braque, Miro Calder and Nelson until September 2nd 19
Fantastic collections! Wonderful building! Nice home! I just love it
Beautiful, it is another of the many things that I loved about Rouen, which was where Joan of Arc was burned, a beautiful city
Beautiful combination of modern and classical french art, a must see for art lovers. The DuChamp collection was amazing. There an english booklet for non-french speaking visitors, friendly people
This museum is simply beautiful. You rub shoulders with all the greatest painters. In addition, access to the permanent collection is completely free. Above all do not deprive yourself. To watch again and again
Quiet, pleasant, lovely service, really interesting. Free entry for all.
Beautiful. Well maintained visit very pleasant. Staff full of pedagogy.
Wonderful gallery with quite an extensive range From Impressionists to Duchamp to less challenging but still beautiful religious and portrait and landscape work Great central courtyard area Recommend starting to the left as you enter
Interesting picture gallery. We should pay more attention to a painting by Caravaggio and others by Delacroix, Monet, which are however minor works.
Impressions weight. For people with a heightened need for creativity of truly talented individuals - this is the place that you need!
An art museum worth visiting from Paris. Even when a special exhibition is being held, it is recommended because it is relatively free and you can appreciate it slowly.
There is also a large locker in the basement where you can leave your luggage and watch it easily.
A very interesting visit with superb pieces (Caravaggio painting, archaeological objects ..)
A permanent collection that can be visited for free which is organized in rooms on 3 floors with the assurance of seeing some beautiful paintings according to your tastes. Of course there is not a very important set for the great painters, for example 1 Caravaggio. The presentation is neat but I did not find the lighting of the works very good
Works of art and a scribble stroke. Fortunately the time of a room.
A nice museum, a lot of classic pictorial works. The presentation of the works and the rooms are very pretty and colorful. But it's really not my cup of tea w unfortunately.
Very nice collection and the permanent collection with works by monet
Several exceptional pieces, sometimes lighting would be a review (between reflections and / or shadows) Expo on the nice cinema. Some may broadcast a soft contemporary music works. They are full of places where do the artists and inspiration: the museum can bring full of ideas
very inviting and nicely equipped. Cafeteria could offer more.
