Wow great food with amazing flavor and the service was outstanding

Service is a bit on the slow side but the food is good.

Okay service, okay food, but dont come here for wifi (update: after 10 months, still no working wifi). I ususally visit M&B to have something to eat and to work but this specific one always has wifi issues and I end up wasting time coming here. Staff say it's been like this for years but still nothing is being done.

All rich and more than reasonable prices to be in V&A

The menu is vast. There is something for everyones tastes buds. Breakfast, lunches, salads, cakes and more. You can choose to sit on the deck overlooking the harbour or inside. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and easily accessible.

Worst than CellC.. At least CellC can let me send a message through and gets blue ticked .. Here the message stays unread. Horrible service

What a revolting experience. I was famished after waiting for my order for almost an hour, I had ordered the pork belly which comes with a side of chips and roasted vegetables. The roasted vegetables were wilted and spoiled to the point where you could smell them. The way in which the manager handled this was poor and not of hospitality standards. I'm utterly disappointed and wouldn't recommend that anyone sets foot there

Honestly we waited over 30 minutes to get 2 drinks and everytime we asked for a refill we had to wait 12 minutes to get the waiters attention then another 30 minutes to get the drink

There where many staff hanging around doing nothing

Mediocre and very touristy - both food, service and location.

I think one gets good value for money here. Great location at the waterfront overlooking the boats, other restaurants and Table mountain. Such a beautiful city. At night and in January and February is breathtaking

Well, I have compiled 6 people feedback about Mugg &a Bean dishes. The average rating was 4 stars. To be honest, the espresso was very bad. I'm impressed with the inability of good places to brew a good espresso. The average food is good, so I guess MB deserves a 4 star.

In today's restaurant meals, Mugg & Bean fit the bill for affordable prices & good service. So they deserve praise

Horrifically bad service and manager not interested in quality or customer satisfaction. Stay away.

Food is above average. Service is okay. Overall, the experience is positive, but the noise levels are extreme. When it's busy it is hard to have a decent conversation without shouting (at times). The outside section is better, but it is also a seasonal aspect to consider.

It was good and the staff was great. I forgot to tell Oriel to jot put bacon in my Alabama chicken but put Macon and I kindly assisted to change it

Although I opted to skip on the salad dressing, my salad was so good it felt like a cheat meal. Mugg & Bean is highly recommended. They serve great food and have friendly waiters.

Service is delayed. Got cold food and this is my 3rd time going to this restuarant and its the same all the time.

Great location, but it gets so loud inside the that you cant enjoy breakfast because you cant hear yourself think. Staff are not very helpful and when my food arrived, it was cold.

Great view of Table Mountain, and super friendly staff from James. I would recommend this Mugg & Bean based on the service alone!

We had a great dinner tonight. Food was delicious

Amazing meal. Nice vibe. Fresh air outdoors was amazing.

One star for the coffee otherwise the staff behavior was very bad. The owner should give them a course to learn them how to deal with customers.

They don't even deserve a star from me. Waiter was good. BUT when you wait 40minutes for your food that just never arrived.. Crazy.

Come for lunch during lockdown period, expected personal details to be taken incase of an outbreak but none of that... Starters, coffee and cakes were great, price was definitely on par to the foods quality and size. Restaurant is clean both in and outside seating. Would definitely come back for another coffee lunch.

Wasn't too impressed with their breakfast menu (where the build your own omelette option?) . Food was ok, coffee and service was good.

We expected to have a decent brunch yesterday, instead we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated and had to ask several people for a waiter to take my order. After placing our order, it took forever for our drinks to arrive. By the time we got our food it was already cold and you can tell it was just sitting there for a while. The toasted cheese sandwich we got was not toasted properly and was soggy. It was just a really disappointing experience.

The music is so loud that you can't think, let alone read as I had planned. Not sure if you could hold a conversation over the music, which apparently can't be turned down

This occasion it was good, nice lemon meringue and latte and fizz drink but on previous it has let itself down a little.

Once crowded and inconvenience, who is "noise" I tried their latte and cappuccino mash all milk .. Only their prices are suitable for sandwiches and sweets and snacks .. And since it is with Waterfront, the alternative is available in abundance and is better.

Great seating overlooking the harbor. Coffee choices are good and breakfast is excellent.

Took my wife and daughter from breakfast! Ordered an Americano with hot milk, waitor brought me a filtered coffee with cold milk first round coffee was warm, asked her to bring me a hot Americano with hot milk and she brought me once again a a filtered coffee with hot milk, finally on 3rd attempt I got my Americano. Food took forever to get done ordered was placed at 10:16am only received 10:51 toast was warm, no butter with toast had to ask took like 10mins to get a waiters attention, finally got butter it was as hard as a rock broke my toast trying to butter it. Waitress seemed over busy couldn't cope with all the tables she had to see to! Message to owner please make sure you separate stronger waiters or waitresses deal with tables that they can actually handle otherwise the experience is rather unpleasant. 2 star because the food was actually tastey for us.

Really great staff here. I ordered a coffee and muffin on my lunch break and then promptly forgot the muffin. The next day the manager remembered me and gave me a fresh muffin free of charge. Thank you, keep up the friendly service.

Great location, great coffee but my chicken livers had lots of salt..I took them back and they were replaced by saltier livers...I gave up , and my Cake wasn't up to Mugg and bean standard, was a bit disappointed, waiter was good.

Great view from anywhere you sit. You can even watch people playing music.

What a disappointment my meal turned to be. The sessame chicken bowl ended up as flavorless ingredients drowned in coconut milk. The four slivers of sesame chicken did not make up for the R62 price tag I am being charged. There is a lot of other restaurants offering beter quality food than this. Not woth coming to Mug and Bean again.

The staff need training. I don't want an arm coming across my space when I'm being served.

Greaaaat service, stunning views, brilliant staff and super delectable food

We wanted to eat breakfast today, the lady that seats a person was not friendly. There was a table available outside, but she refused for us to be seated there as it was for 6 people and we were only 3 people. My husband was rudely told that he is not allowed to just walk to that table. Another lady came to us, not well presented for a frontline person. We were told to wait, as this was our second bad experience (previously food was of poor quality as it was so busy that it looks like they not handling it very well). We will not be seeing this branch again, clearly they do not care about customer service, but how many people they can move through. Note: if you want to see good service and fresh food go to Mugg and Bean at The Palm Grove Mall.

Always enjoy lovely breakfasts with my wife we are in this area.

Haha... Had there mojito's lovely down town restaurant to lay back unwind an chill. They even have small snacks like your muffins or bagel... Definitely a yes for me...

I was there yesterday, after a long day on the road and well, the food was absolutely terrible!

My friends eggs were raw!
My husbands food was cold by the time it got to us.
My food arrived way after everybody else.
Why? They got the damn order wrong!

Definitely never going back to this mugg and bean. Up your game!
