Very nice place to visit. Situated at the V and A waterfront. A real cosy restuarant to visit and relax. The staff us very friendly and the meals are very well prepared.

Had the toasted cheese and tomato soup which was delicious and perfect for a colder day the toasted cheese was huge so it was plenty food for a great price.
Good food, great service and very nice staff. We were there on 31st Dec morning so it was packed and the service was a bit delayed but the waiter clearly communicated that it might take time. We got a table overlooking the waterfront and the cape wheel so the views compensated for the delay in good. The avocado egg sandwich and the bran muffin were very good! Their bottom less house blend coffee is delicious.
Great vibe!!! Loved everything ESP food and view ....on the whole WiFi thing it's not the Muggs fault it's waterfront not sorting things out.... Been coming to thing mugg for yrs.

Delicious food, vegan options, friendly service. Sometimes it is super fast, although very full, then the same food will last forever, although hardly anything is going on. The kids menu would not be enough for us both times, even though we were there with two small children. Too bad. We later saw her on the shelf.
Sometimes no one will come to check on you for 10s of minutes. Also, in combo why can t you do filter coffee and muffin when there is an option for cappuccino and muffin?! It s not even like overall price will be higher. Doesn t make sense.

Only giving one star because I wasn t allowed to give zero. I ordered a toastie and the cheese wasn t melted, the bread was just toasted in the middle. The chips were cold and old. The Lemonade was the only good thing about my meal.
After giving Mugg & Beans chances, after chances- I feel as if this place just sealed how terrible they are. The staff are poorly trained and only come to you when you call them (or more accurately have to get another waiter to find your waiter because you re tired of waiting). The food is pretty bland too and not at all worth it. Rather just don t go to this place, and let the brand die finally.
This Mugg & Bean doesn't just have the coffee, muffins and salads but also a great view!
The food is fresh and made very well. My salad was just the way I like it and very filling. Actually, the best salad I've ever had at a restaurant.
Only affordable sit down place I have found in the V&A. My favourite is the Chicken Mayo Sandwich with Sweet Potato fries and the bottomless coffee.
They have managed to make it the poorest mugg&bean experience. The food was mediocre and the Services was BAD. Slow inattentive waiters and dirty restaurant.

After a long day of shopping we popped into the Mugg n Bean for rest our feet and get a drink. The branch has good COVID protocols in place, the staff are friendly and efficient and the drinks were delicious. It is also an affordable place to stop compared to a lot of other restaurants in the waterfront.
Good prices, even better food. You can find the best muffins in the area here. The sandwiches are also highly recommended.

The service was poor, burger was OK, although the bottom was rather soggy, but the worst were the fries, totally inedible.... And we frequent Mugg and Bean franchises... This one was definitely not my cup of tea.
Food was lovely, i had a Jalapeno sandwich with melted cheese, it was spectacular. I had a pina colada a long with my sandwich, although i thought all the cocktails had nice decorative garments in the drink bit the pina colada was so plainly decorated with nothing. The Jalapeno on the sandwich was way to hot for the the sandwich, nothing breaking the heat, perhaps add less Jalapeno or not such a hot thing for just a sandwich, dont get me wrong, the sandwich was superb!!
PROS/CONS: Awesome muffins / Lousy WiFi COMMENTS: Emile is right about the WiFi; I couldn't get it to work either. But after they brought my order (very good omelet, great blueberry muffin), I wasn't that interested in getting connected...although if it HAD worked, I would've given M&B 5 's.

This place will stay one of my favorites we had good times me and my family. Am glad after 3 years of not showing up the qaiters remembered me. I miss them too all the 3 years been working out of country and am glad will see them regularly again
Food is above average. Service is okay. Overall, the experience is positive, but the noise levels are extreme. When it's busy it is hard to have a decent conversation without shouting (at times). The outside section is better, but it is also a seasonal aspect to consider.
Lovely outdoor seating with wide range of drink and menu options. Great place for lunch or a light snack.
Went there again recently. They seem to have improved. Will updated again after my next visit

The worst service ever experienced at Mugg and Bean. Sat for 8 minutes and not a single waitron came to us. Went to Tasha s and had an amazing meal with top quality food and service.
