Super cozy place to drink a beer, play a game and / or chat with friends. Great beer, they can tell a lot about it and a nice atmosphere!

Delicious beers on tap in a cozy atmosphere and in the middle of the copper kettles. A must for the beer lover.

Friendly staff lots of choice from only beers from own brewery heerlyk. And good food. And only lemonade for the kids nothing more

Brouwerij Maximus is brewery located in Utrecht. They have a lot of choices of beers and they are all brewed by themselves. The kettles are visible throughout the bar which gave a wonderful touch to the ambiance of the brewery.

My girlfriend found this place on the internet and suggested that we would have a meal and some beers there. She called them and made a reservation for us.

When we entered the restaurant we were a bit confused of were we had to go to.There was no host(ess) so we waited a few minutes at the entrance. When nobody came to us we walked to the bar and told them we had a reservation. We were guided to our table and we took place at a nice table close to the bar. We directly received the menu and ordered a special beer.

After some browsing through the menu we decided to go for a starter and a main. As a starter we ordered bread with 3 different kind of dips. The dips were really flavourish but unfortunately no one told us the name of the dips so we had no idea what is was. As a main my girlfriend ordered a hamburger and I ordered duck. When I told the waiter I wanted the duck he told me that he was very sorry but that all the duck was sold out that evening. So I went for a hamburger as well. Unfortunately it took quite long for the food to arrive. When it finally did, it was a tasty hamburger with some potatoes and veggies on the side.
We ordered some more beer and even ordered a few on recommendation of the waiter (who was very nice). We really loved all the beers.

The beers they brew here are very tasteful and unique. They have so many beers, that it is to much to write them all down. The vibe in the bar and kindness of the staff is definitely a plus. But sometimes they did lack a little bit of professionality. We had no cutlary when we got are main course. When my girlfriend asked for a fork they gave her one instead of two (I still didn't had one). It's not the biggest deal and I'm not here to bash on them but these are just tips. The overall experience was great and that's why I give 4/5.

Great brewery. Went to the taste session where Food & Beer came together. Delicious. Got tips about taste before or after the bite. You can taste so much difference. Not everything tasted good, but the chef was very open to feedback. What a fun atmosphere. Worth repeating for anyone who loves beer and good food.

Been here a couple of times, it s a nice place to get a couple of beers. The bar looks nice and you can sometimes see them working on beer, while you are enjoying a beer. They also have a collection of games you can play with a good snack.

Delicious eaten salmon with beet spaghetti and a Maximus Trippel food took a bit long but it was really delicious.

Beautiful, authentic brewery. We had a beer tasting for 8 people. Our brewer told full of passion. The beers were delicious! I will definitely come back for the Imperial Domkop!

Restaurant would be open, but when we arrived the terrace appeared to be closed, and everything inside was full. At the friendly request to take along at least two pastel de nata, we received a blunt "no"? Why? "Because we don't." Well, this is a pity ...

Nice place, nice beers but a bit overpriced for what you get. You would expect that the brewery is cheaper than in the city. Food is also not very exciting.

Beautiful brewery in Vleuten with beautiful beers such as the Pandora, Brutus and (IPA) High Hops!

Burger was usual. But forget about food - BEER IS PERFECT!!!
Tried just 3 sorts but Brutus and HighHops was really good!
But this is depends of what kind you like. Every sort is really good.
I mean if you like bruine - take the bruine, like IPA - than take IPA.

Fair beer. Lousy service. Dirty cheese sticks. Half an hour before closing is the last round and a few minutes later they start putting the chairs on the table. You are requested to eat your beer at exactly midnight.

Great beer, but the food really isn't what it used to be. Especially price / quality. Watery soup, no cookie with coffee, moderate burger and a very poor cheese board. @Maximus: this should really be better!

This brewery is in a special location so close to a residential area. Yet you have the idea that you are in the countryside!

Reserved, corona rules are neatly observed and nevertheless a great atmosphere for a good drink. High-quality drinks board and, in addition to the well-known Maximus beers, also plenty special from elsewhere, such as the exceptionally tasty Hel & Verdoemenis imperial stout from Brouwerij De Molen

This used to be a five star place. The beer is great. They have a super terrace. The staff is friendly and efficient. But the food is a real disappointment - particularly for veggies/vegans. They used to have a phenomenal veggie burger. But even this has now been replaced with a jackfruit curry that has no redeeming values.

A great brewpub with an excellent selection (almost 20) of their own beer on tap. The burger was also good.

Nice beers and nice service but the cocktail board is no longer what we were used to. 18.50 for what we get now half of what it was then. Duration pay a little attention to that.

Although they serve decent beer its a bit overrated and for what you get too expensive. Staff is friendly and it is well located.

Lovely place to drink a craft beer. With accompanying pieces of cheese / sausage. Operation is also top notch.

Maximus already makes very good craft beers but getting to drink it at the brewery is a definite bonus. The location is very calm, located a few hundred meters from a very big park, and the patio right next to an orchard with makes the the perfect location for a nice cold beer on a sunny day.

Many types of beer so good to drink with friends, but the sticky tables, the limited menu and the staff which is friendly and benevolent but is not actively engaged with the guests do not make it a restaurant. But they don't call themselves that either. Decor so / so, no fun in the neighborhood.

Just don't expect restaurant and hospitality tigers in the ministry. The beer and the snacks are great, nice atmosphere, casual good beer.
