My cat had surgery(not at mspca) and the person who did her bandage put a adhesive on top of her incision without any protection and my cat was in pain because of it so i took to mspca so they could check her incision and remove the sticker, they did remove the adhesive but not without hurting my cat, when they remover the adhesive they took a piece of my cat skin and because of corona the communication is done by phone i tried to ask if she needed any medicine for pain but the vet hung up while i was trying to ask, and just brought my cat back. Horrible place that i will never bring any of my pets back

Not the greatest place, took my cat to the ER because she wasn t feeling well they did some testing and they didn t find anything 500$ Out the window. Took her in 2 days after and they did some X rays and they thought it was an internal infection that was causing it so they gave her antibiotics. later that day we noticed her paws were injured and realized that that was the cause of her not doing well. How did I take her to the ER and the vets not notice it? She was looked at by 2 vets that night. They clearly didn t examine her well. Then I booked the another appointment and nothing. How did 3 vets miss that. Not taking my pets back here again.

My 15 yr old mini pin got sick and I had to make that choice to put her down .I wasn t working a lot at the time.so I couldn t afford a lot. I took her to the mspca. They were compassionate and knowledgable. It takes a strong person to do that job! I was heartbroken and kind of nervous to go there. I knew my pet was in distress and it had to be done . The Dr. ( Murphy) helped my dog pass lovingly and peacefully. I can t thank Dr. Murphy and the Employees at the mspca enough. My dog is at peace now. We were able to sit with her and then the procedure was quick and effortless. It Was professional yet personal. I would recommend for the best of care for your pet ...take them here. And in the end my dog .. She just went to sleep..she looked peaceful. Thank you so much to all.

I'd be lost without the amazing staff at Angell. They helped take care of my cat and get him back to his normal snuggly self. They communicate very well, especially during covid-19 when we can't meet with the tech/vets in person. They call to check up, and when my cat was there overnight, they send cute pics/messages to update how they're doing. I seriously cant say enough good things about the staff at Angell

The staff are completely amazing. I love them. My outdoor cats sometimes *go missing* when unhelpful neighbors bring them in. Staff know the cats by sight, give them a good check up, and call me right away. We adopted the sweetest senior cat a few years ago and he quickly became a beloved member of our family. Now the girls like to visit the cats when they are having a bad day. Wonderful place.

I was worried that the new corvid- 19 rules would be too impersonal with the dropping off and picking up your pet in the parking lot, but when I had to take my pet to the emergency room, it all went off without a hitch! I called when I got there, and a friendly staff member took our info over the phone and came out in good time to collect my cat. After the exam, the attending doctor called me on my cell to give the results and recommendations including meds needed, on my approval, they returned him to me with the medications bagged and a supply of recommended food for his recovery. We were in and out in less than an hour!

I'm very grateful for what the vetinarians here did for my cat. I brought him in because of an emergency. The support staff were terrific, especially the people at the front desk but I was very irritated and disappointed by the lack of compassion and complete absence of people skills I felt from the vet who called me to update me on his condition after triage. I realize that the covid outbreak makes communication difficult but I felt like I was treated very poorly by the vetinarian who was taking care of him. She lacked a good bedside manner and had poor people skills. I was very upset and concerned about my cat and she had very little empathy or compassion. It really made the entire experience much worse.

We spent 4 hours in the ER last night for a stable injury. We thought our new kitten had a broken paw so we took her in after 12 hours of worsening behavior. we had X-rays taken and were reassured it was a sprain. This review is geared towards the amazing staff. We had a new vet Dr. Chen, who was caring, sweet and thoughtful. Although we were not their for an emergency as we heard some horrible stories and outcomes for other pets that night she took her time and treated us with respect and heartwarming care. All of the support staff were kind and thoughtful. I feel lucky to be so close to such an amazing facility, thank you for everything you do!

After having pets neutered in my home town of NYC, I always dreaded the process. Clinics tend to be dirty, crowded, unprofessional, and have long wait times. So when I moved to Boston and found the MSPCA, I was shocked and extremely happy at the efficiency of MSPCA. Our scheduling was easy, even with active CoVID restrictions. There were safety precaution measures in place and the coordinator was super friendly. The process was easy, the center was clean and we felt taken care of. They even add cute pendants for your pets collar! I cannot recommend this clinic enough and will be recommending my friends to it for their pet health needs.

My cat Marley had emergency surgery due to a mass on her spleen. Everyone at MSPCA was absolutely wonderful, i couldn't have asked for better care for my little kitty, i would give them 10 stars if i could. Dr. O'Hara was so informative, sensitive to my concerns and walked me through all the options and the process. The team kept me informed throughout the entire process, called when they said they would and were very patient with all my questions. The care coordinator, Nikki even sent me texts with pictures of Marley during her recovery and spent time building a little house for her so that she wasn't so scared. Dr. Brandifino and Dr. Kelly made several follow up calls regarding her recovery. You can tell that everyone involved are dedicated to giving the best care for the pets and their owners.

It's all about the money if you're animal just has a cold or woud go elsewhere if you're cat has a enlarged heart like mine is the all the want is $$$$$$$ sad but true we ask for financial help because our cat was terminal we were not eligible for financial aid but they wanted to keep the cat for two days to watch him that's a $2.000 joke but that is what they wanted we took him him home with meds and humidifier and he is still here go sebesation

It's okay but when I took my dog in you that gave me some medicine from the pharmacy in the medicine was for his ear but then prescription on the bottle or the directions on the bottle told me to give it to him by mouth and it just didn't seem like so I had to call cuz I had already gave him some and they said it was for his ear and it was wrong on the bottle luckily it wasn't a lot that I gave him and it didn't get him sick but it was a really bad mistake that could have made my dog died so I'm not too crazy about this hospital I know it does good things for a lot of animals.

When we visited everyone was very respectful and for a first time cat owner they helped so very much, my animal means everything to me and I'm glad I found a place that I trust to take care of my cat. I had great experience even during the pandemic What I appreciated most about Angell is how kind they have been to those who come in, they were are respectful and kind to us. Yes they are pretty expensive but the health of my cat is very important to me.
