The MSPCA does amazing work. I stopped by the adoption center and they have an incredibly friendly staff. If you re looking for a friend, definitely consider the MSPCA before going to a pet store, the animals here are under great care.

Its clean, the animals are well taken care of, the staff are knowledgable and very nice, and the adoption fee isnt too bad considering everything you get with it. The MSPCA provides animal adoption, medical care and surrender service.

Do your self a favor. Go somewhere else. They care more about money than your pet's health. I waited 3 hours for a vet who did not give my cat an antibiotic to get rid of his UTI. I had Hannah Lewis who told me to go elsewhere for a urinalysis. You wait 3 hours for a vet and get over charged. They did not prescribe my cat the medication he needed for his UTI. I mean would you treat a human like this. I am very disappointed in this Boston so called ER. I then went to Dr. Wolf's animal medical center in Dedham that said my cat was in discomfort and needed an antibiotic at least Dr. D'esopo shows he has valid credentials and cares for animals. I will never go back to Angell again.

I have to give it at least 3 stars because I adopted my best friend here. I ve never felt a greater sense of joy since adopting our little girl.

We were warned that she had aggressive tendencies and I felt they took all necessary precautions to inform us of this before turning her over to us. We were forced to sign up for a behavioral training class that would help her out of her bad manners by building confidence. We took their word for it and paid the extra $300 for classes. Now this is where I have to take stars away- the classes were a joke. They covered basic obedience like sit, stay, and follow . That s great for most dogs, but certainly did not help our fearful and reactive one. We were advised to get her on medication and sign up for more training. I know that you can never predict how a dog will respond to training, but why recommend the same thing If it didn t work before? This whole experience felt like a cash grab.

Still dealing with increased anxiety and aggression as the months progressed, I knew we had to try something else. I found a class that specifically focused on training for fearful, reactive and aggressive dogs. The training was half of the price at $150 for 5 weeks. After her first training/consultation, we noticed a worlds difference. Our little one listened to commands, stopped barking, and left us touch her without getting our fingers bit. She was less guarded and more confident. It s hard to believe that the dog we adopted is the same dog we have today.

We re incredibly fortunate to have had the time and resources to go through this training, but I realize a lot is people wouldn t have, and that typically results in re-homing. I wish that they would have recommended a training place and specialist outside of the shelter given her history. That would have saved us money and a truck load of stress. If you do adopt from here, ask all of the questions and do your own research on what is best for your dog before signing up for anything.

WARNING: THIS IS A KILL SHELTER!

WARNING: THIS IS A KILL SHELTER!

I was advised by a coworker that she put her dog up for adoption and signed a form to take him back if not adopted within 30 days. MSPCA deemed the dog "aggressive" after TWO DAYS and PUT THE DOG DOWN instead of calling the owner to retrieve him before the 30 days were up. This fact is not advertised on there website so BEWARE before putting your animal up for adoption here

My Vet Dr. Wayne took good care of my Puma, he was diagnosed with spleen cancer and she helped me to provide home care , he passed away at the old age of 20 years, but I know he loved us as much as we loved him.

This review is just for the story time for kids. Unfortunately, felt quite rushed and boring. Also, make sure you have cash change/exact amount for suggested donation. It is basically a charge and not a suggested donation.

The whole propose of this organization is business and getting profit and making money, they do not really care about animals and even human who is a caregiver to animals, I visited this center for possible adopting a new cat being a company for my existing cat.
At the same time I was interested to a young cat, 2 more people were interested to him, I was nervous to adopt him without knowing if he has contiguous disease, I asked them to perform medical test, they refused it, even when I asked them to hold on him for a couple of hours that I can make a good place for him at home, they did not cooperate, very un-ethical, no sense of understanding, for each procedure they charged money, such as nail trim, box, and so on

Amazing!

Amazing!
We got our doggo here and the process was very easy! They also do all they can to have those animals in good condition. The veterinarian service is also quick and good! We went for a yearly checkup for doggo and we loved the vet!

3 visits so far (unfortunately) and 3 different Doctors. Each Doctor has been amazing, really friendly and helpful. No unnecessary treatment and been open and honest about our choices and level treatment. Really great to have a discussion about what's best and never felt pushed into making a decision. That's been the case for 3 separate Doctors so far. I also love the facilities and means anything needed can be done here and results come back quickly. Completely recommend based on my visits to date. They are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for IMO.

Very compassionate staff. I brought my cat in and she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It had spread and there wasnt much more that could be done. I put my baby down. The staff was amazing. I was devastated as I've never had to put down an animal before. I will return if I ever get another pet.

The staff did a great job of balancing being helpful and attentive while maintaining Covid precautions. What I appreciated most about Angell is Dr Sheu-Lee. She answered our exhaustive questions and put us at ease over his condition.

They have done a great job retro fitting for covid. You check in, and then head back into the car. They call you and then have you drop off your Pup with th docs when they're ready. The docs examine your Pup with you on the phone. We had a 2 pm appointment and were done by 2:15.
