Wonderful

Wonderful
Year after year the Mountain Playhouse delivers outstanding production.
My wife and I have patronized this wonderful organization for years and highly recommend
you decide for yourself. Some productions are better than others but overall it s a wonderful
experience.

I wanted to make my wifes birthday a special day. This was it! I booked the Theater in the Mountains pacakage which included: overnight stay at Huddleson's court Hideaway suite (beautiful rustic accommodations), tickets to Mountain Playhouse ( Excellent performance), dinner and breakfast at Green Gables ( delicious meals). Staff was professional and friendly. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

This is the premier live performance playhouse in the Laurel Highlands. I have attended many plays here over the years and I've never been disappointed. The plays and casting are always outstanding and the rustic and intimate theater setting provides a comfortable view and clear audible experience for the attendees. The excellent Green Gables Restaurant is adjacent to the playhouse and hotel rooms are available for those interested in a full evening of enjoyment in a beautifully maintained rustic facility environment and bucolic landscape.

My first impression of the Mountain Playhouse was of the building itself. This was a gristmill way back when and the ambiance of it all is almost overwhelming. Walking into the cozy theater is a lovely stroll into the past.

We saw "Million Dollar Quartet". Any expectations we might have had were exceeded. The cast was so talented, the show itself (based on truth) was entertaining, and the acoustics of the theatre put the icing on top of a lucious cake.

I would strongly recommend that anyone interested in the theatre arts take any opportunity to visit the Mountain Playhouse. I am certain you will be impressed!

The play was very good but be very careful when reserving seats. We was informed that our play would be a buy one get one free . When we arrived and purchased our reserved tickets we were still told it was buy one get one but our cards were charged full price

Just had the good fortune of seeing "Death Trap" .... It was wonderful. The cast was superb, especially Patrick Cannon. He is very talented and gorgeous, too. Good job!
Thank you for a fabilous evening.

The play I saw was excellent. However, I have to say I was annoyed with the bus parking. At my particular matinee, there were probably 5 busses. One bus was parked right in the front, fully blocking probably 6 parking spots. The people were already off the bus and inside the venue, yet the bus was still parked right up front. It was pouring down rain and the parking lot was absolute mud. I had to park several rows back and trudge through the rain and mud to get to the box office, only for the lady working to tell me "there's nothing we can do about where the busses park." Which is complete BS. They can put up signs designating where busses can park. But the show was fantastic. Booooo on parking .

Nice authentic playhouse with restaurant. Outdoor area near a creek is beautiful. All seats had a good view of the play. The bathrooms were clean. Did a great job accommodating a large group.

1st time here. Took our 3yr old granddaughter to see Curious George. Easy parking, easy tickets, good price, nice friendly people, comfortable theater, awesome backstory on the old mill. All good!
