Mount Airy Casino Resort Reviews

This place is just blah. All the buffet food taste like something you'd get at a $3.99 all-you-can-eat place. It reminds me of food at an airport terminal. I think the casinos in Connecticut and New Jersey have stolen their customers. Now it's just Hillbilly Heaven

Very one sided on this trip. Usually have a little" give and take" , but on my last trip, not many free spins, bonuses, ect.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights we had a great time, casino was fun had a great time place was very clean well organized is beautiful would highly recommend would definitely go again

Cocktail waitress never came back with my drink after we had to wait to see her for about an hour.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. Here are our Pros and Cons. Pros.. Hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. A great place just to get away. Cons.. The food is not that great. The buffet closes extremely early and do not sell breakfast. The hotel rooms do not have a fridge or microwave. We spent really good money on a meals and had to throw out the left overs, because there's no where to store or reheat the food for that matter. The spa gets booked really fast. In addition, we drove to Mt. Camel (5 mins away) and went zip lining (this is a outdoor water/adventure park). This was on both of our Bucket list. We really enjoyed the park.There's also outlets down the road (100 stores). If you plan on staying a few days, I recommend, bringing your own snacks and drinks (they have ice @ the hotel). You should try this out for yourself. My wife is very picky and she really enjoyed herself. Hope this helps!!!

Terrible place to stay. We drove 3 hours to stay at this hotel . Paid almost 700 for a suite for a couple nights. The suite was dirty as ever. There was left over garbage from the previous people. The floors were dirty, hair in the bed, sinks would not drain, the mini bar in the room had stuff missing upon arrival and they tried to charged us for it. We had to call maintenance in to unclog the drains in the room . I would never stay here again. Such an awful experience and a complete waste of time.

Very nice casino. Good food at any restaurant. Drinks are ok, have to have a players club card to be served at the machines and when you're at the tables, drink staff aren't allowed to bring you drinks. Not a great money making idea. If someone's playing the tables, you want them to stay there no? Otherwise, I'm sure we will return...

This was my first time here - I loved it, but the poker room is awfully small

The casino was big and organized but I couldn't stand the fact that you could smoke anywhere. I had trouble breathing.

Mount Airy is always worth the trip. Just 45 mins away. They always have a large selection to choose from. I have never seen it over crowded

VERY DISAPPOINTED. WE WILL NOT RETURN

We checked in around 5pm. Looked forward to the pool since we were on a motorcycle all day. We get there and find out that they close the pool everyday at 7. REALLY? AND there was a $15 resort fee on top of the room charge ($359).
The room was average. Definetly not worth $359 plus resort fee. The shower head was falling apart. The cable tv only had one channel that worked steadily. The Wifi was intermittent. The manager had an "I don't care attitude".

Casino is at a scenic place, I saw it's attractive inside. Don't miss when you go nearby

I was pretty disappointed in my visit. If I want to do a casino I generally do Sands Bethlehem, but I don t really like it there, and I had the idea in my head that Mount Airy was much better. There isn t anywhere to get a cheap bite to eat, like a slice of pizza or something. And the casino is tiny I felt like I had circled it 10 times in an hour. They don t have good beer available for those on the casino floor, only Natural Light, but in other casinos I ve been to I can get whatever alcohol I d like. I suppose it s a good place to go gamble if you re close to Mount Pocono, but we drove from around the NYC area and it feels a little far for how small the casino was. It also seems like most areas are smoking areas, which became overpowering for me after a bit. All in all, it s only okay as a casino. I haven t stayed in the hotel, but the hotel portion does look very small. Even in its decrepit state, I probably prefer Atlantic City.

Nice casino for the price, go further northeast for a bigger and more entertaining evening. This place has no theater for live performances. The table games are in one row about 150' long.

There is no regard for non-smokers here. This place wreaks of cigarette smoke everywhere. I couldn't stay on the floor at all. Not many restaurants and nothing to do after the pool closes. People are allowed to smoke in the small non smoking section, what happened to the rights of non-smokers? Will not return.

Disappointed spent 200 and didn't win more than 10 on several occassion.

The buffet needs help. When the casino first opened the food was good. But now they need help. The variety is not good at all.

This casino is 100 times better then Mohegan sun, the staff is friendly, they have a system so they don t need to ask for your ID a million times.

Terrible casino with bad policies and rude security

Superb accommodations, friendly staff, and a top-notch casino. The breakfast brunch buffet was the best I've ever had.

We visited the resort for drinks with friends. The facility is well maintained, clean and a pleasure to spend time. We look forward to visiting again in the future, perhaps as hotel guests.

Was only here for an hour to Gamble. Cant say how the rooms are. But the casino floor is laid out nicely. No smoking inside. Makes it even better.

$100 gone in less than 30 minutes. I always thought odds were bad at AC but wow...

Limited tables spacing in effect, no alcohol served only coffee and soda.

A very nice place to go to getaway for a weekend without having to travel to far from home. Lots to do and had a great time. Amazing scenery and lots of nightlife entertainment all in one place. Can't wait to go back.

Went there recently as part of a bachelor party. Was very nice and had a good mix of things to do for everyone

The service is horrible have to wait 25 minutes to a 1/2 hour to get a beer

I'm really not sure why I go here. Probably because it's close for a one night getaway with my wife. I usually do decent at the tables but thats about the only good anymore. The rooms are showing their age. The casino floor staff is generally unfriendly, the bartenders are flat out jerks and the servers in the restaurants are "hit or miss". It feels like hanging out in a failing AC casino.

We came in from Brooklyn for a Halloween party at the hotel & not only did they not let us in because we had Canadian ID (which might be a legal reason). But the staff were extremely rude and "racist" against Canadians by saying rude and sarcastic comments and refusing to let us even speak to a manager. Absolutely unreal. No class, and no respect for these people whatsoever. I would never recommend anyone to come to the hotel, ever.

Very disappointed. This establishment is run down, poor service, unsanitary restrooms, and less then quality food.

I visited the resort for a birthday party. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Food was great, we all had a great time.

Mount Airy is a great place to see an intimate show.

I would like to praise Mount Airy for their accommodations and their staff. Every time my husband and I stay at Mount Airy we have a wonderful time! This is due to the fact that they provide state of the art rooms, and professional staff that provide excellent service.

I was just booking rooms for my daughters 21st Birthday and my anniversary and spoke with Val. She provided me with excellent service! A big shout out to Val who booked 2 rooms for me and one for my mother! She took the time to look up our players information and give us the best service! Kudos to Mount Airy for providing staff that go the extra mile!

I ve been to the gift shop a few times they ve been very helpful. Tempting on gambling every time I come up here. My in-laws loved it here so I highly recommend this place.

Never a great outcome, not even comp or rewards. It's just conveniently close to home.

I went to gamble and everyone is pretty nice. Clean, can smoke inside on one side, many different games, food area. Gorgeous place.

Great spot in the Poconos. Love the casino. Usually visit several times a year. Slots, table games, they have it all. A couple of good spots to grab a bite to eat in addition to the buffet. Have been a fan of this place for years and will continue to come back year after year.

The resort was very pretty, especially enjoyed the beautiful colors of the waterfall, lobby, and pool area. Was a little disappointed that we had to order food at the pool bar to get drinks, and the hot wings weren't good at all. Wasn't impressed with the food, so we went to restaurants in the area. The room was clean, but smaller than we expected, and it did smell strongly of weed when we entered, so we had to buy plug ins. I didn't complain, because after the 3 hour drive there I was ready to have fun! We did good in the casino, and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The only other complaint is I would have liked to have a microwave, and refrigerator that I could use. The refrigerator provided was fully stocked with the hotel's alcohol, and anything removed was immediately charged. We had to fill the bathroom sink with ice to keep our drinks cool, other than that, pretty nice trip.

Totally lack of customer service and they don't care

Nice place in the middle of the Poconos. Casino gets pretty smokey. In a day and age where indoor smoking is an oddity, this was rather strange. Outside pure mountain air... inside smells like a bar in the 80's.

I lost $540 so my experience stunk. It's impossible to win money there. Casinos are unbeatable.

It's a great place to go when you just want to get away from the struggles of life to just enjoy yourself.

Very clean, great customer service and good restaurants! I ate at IL bistecca and loved the food.

A little disappointed that you can't order a double shot, and you have to wait 20 minutes in between orders. But, everything else was fun. Found myself a nice sandwich at the pizza place.
