I've been a Mossy fan for years! Just bought a Certified Pre-owned Prius V two and could not be happier! I have purchased my last three vehicles from Mossy, my partner bought his last vehicle with Mossy and we plan on buying his next one from Mossy when the time comes! Romio Gorgis was a joy to work with! He made this entire process a fun, informative experience, and we were well taken care of. Andrew in Finance made getting through the paperwork a breeze and they even offered to go the extra mile of driving to Escondido with me when I discovered I forgot my checkbook! Instead, they pulled together and found a way for me to drive my new vehicle home the same night and come back with my checkbook the next day, even though it will mean extra paperwork for them, and they did it all with good natured humor and a smile! Horrible experience! The sales people were super unprofessional, the worst ever met! Sales people tried to fool their customer the whole time! When talking about pricing, they kept offering ridiculously high price! Also kept telling the customer no other choice that is the only offer they could make! Thinking their customer knew nothing, assuming their customer was stupid, did not do any research before walking in your door?! You are too simple and too naive!! You are not the only Toyota dealer in the States! Time is money, right?! Don t waste your precious time with them, customers!

I m new to the state less then a year I been coming to you guys to care for my vehicle but I m not happy about being keep waiting (since August 10 the first email I receive) for mr Wisdom to let me know when are the parts ready email him back last on September 14 and still no answer, I don t even think they could do the job you actually need to be alive and response to your work duties or even just delegate I don t understand the kind of business is been run here but this is just unacceptable we even have the rental ready he originally say will take about 1 week and is been lots more of that and the shop well one thing at the time but for sure I will go to another Toyota certified Colision center

Thanks Robert Kuroda, we had a great experience at Mossy Toyota! We came in right before Christmas and were lucky to meet Robert Kuroda when we walked in. We came in knowing we would buy soon, but are always a bit put off by the dynamic of a sales situation, and had had some awkward pushy experiences at other dealerships in the past. Robert was great! He showed us the priuses we were considering all in a comfortable no pressure way. We left Mossy only to turn around and come back in less than half an hour to take a prius V home. Robert answered all of our questions, and made sure the entire process (including accessories and installations) went smoothly. We had such a great experience that we were back within a week an took another Prius home! The next time I'm in the market, I will be calling Robert Kuroda. I couldn't recommend Robert enough!

Just bought a 2020 Corolla and the firstone tires keep going bad!!! First day tire couldnt hold air. They give me a new one. This new tire did 1000 miles and blew up on the highway from a nail! Ive gotten many flats and ive never had one just go immediately and ruin the tire! I have an extended warranty but it apparently doesnt even cover tires. Worst dealer experince i've had. Ive had a dealer shark treat me better.

Bait and switch, Trying to sell on payment instead of on price repeatedly when I specified I wasn t concerned with them finding me a payment as I had cash in hand. Price was around 10k over sticker price, so dishonest it was actually amusing. Continuously expressed shock when I didn t buy into their unfair tactics and expressed disbelief when they realized I was deeply familiar with dealer terms (I am very familiar with the car industry) and Austin even admitted that they indeed pulled some car sales stunts when I called him out. They Grossly undervalued my trade in. Just poor sales tactics and dishonesty left and right. Would not recommend. Far Better deals at other SD county Toyota dealers don t waste your time on this one. And such steep unfair markups during a pandemic? Do better, Mossy

I called for a regular service appointment for my Avalon and was quoted a price after I gave my year make and model along with the VIN number. When I arrived it was double. The service writer and I discussed how the mistake could have been made. I didn't agree and just asked for my car back. An hour later, the service manager called and invited me back for a free service. He said he checked the phone records and that I was correct on the quote. I presume he listened to that "recorded message for quality and training purposes". Long story short is Mossy Toyota service took ownership of the mistake and more than made up for it. I'll continue to bring my car to them and when it's time to upgrade my Tundra, this will be the only place for me to shop. Thanks!

was lied to about my apr rate. They told me higher and got me to agree to a price point, and then used the 6% that they lied about and applied that amount towards 'optional' warranties that i did not agree to. They never disclosed the final amount of the vehicle, and they changed the term on me without notifying me from 60 to 72 months just by using the amount i was able to pay. They forced me into the transaction by limiting me to 5 mins for a special deal they contacted the general manager about 3 times and said they might even get fired. The 'sales manager' even said that i could refinance with them in 6 months, but i learned that isnt possible. They also made me the co-buyer when i am the primary buyer with a co-signer. They did not notify me of this and just rushed me to sign after taking 2 hours of optional fees that they did not explain. We explained to them we did not want or have money for optional extended warranties and thought we made it clear, but they added it without telling us or explaining anything. They just fit my price point for 60 months, but added another year and left the price point the same. A lot more happened, but i just want help with this because this is a normal thing at the mossy ford location in mission bay/ pacific beach. I did read the yelp reviews till i was a victim of their scams and hidden fees. This first vehicle purchase is a complete nightmare and i fill mistreated. This is fraud inducement

I was interested in the Costco Auto buying program, after entering my info in the Costco site, this dealer was one of the choices. I was interested in a 4runner and I am writing this negative review because the addendum sticker next the to the window sticker rose the sticker price about $7-8K. Listing items like nitrogen filled tires for $399? The air we breathe has nitrogen in it and the best was dealer mark up, about $6500 without any itemization. The salesman mentioned that he could get me a great deal for $7k off from the $48K in the addendum sticker, do the math and the price is $2k above the sticker, this is what passes for a "deal" these days. I opted to buy a lightly used 4runner Off Road edition from a different dealer, paid below KBB value, the best thing to evade that addendum sticker.

Took my car in for ToyotaCare maintenance and my service advisor, Brian R., had such a great attitude and positive energy! It was a shorter wait than I would have expected, and his advisement regarding continued care for my vehicle was valuable and appreciated.
Took my car in because the engine light was on. Turns out the hybrid system coolant pump valve was stuck, they replaced it under warranty. The next day a warning light started coming on intermittently so I took the car in again. They said that there was a hole in the radiator. I had them replace the radiator, but asked to see the old radiator before they threw it away. When I looked at the radiator it was clear that there was a dent due to someone hitting it with something that had caused the leak. I brought this to their attention and brought up the fact that no one else had worked on the car, and that this must have happened when I brought it in a couple days ago. They agreed and didn't charge me for the repair.
5 stars for being honest and owning up to their mistake, 4 stars because if they hadn't dented the radiator in the first place they wouldn't have needed to replace the part, and if I hadn't asked to see the old part, they would have charged me for the repair.
The person who helped me was Dylan and he did an amazing job on making me feel comfortable and he is a very genuine manager. Definitely satisfied.

Brought my car in for an oil change. I waited in the service lobby area minding my own business. I guess the sharks are just freaking starving. A used sales guy came by and started pitching cars over in the used lot. He wouldn't leave without my number so I gave him my fax number at work.

Mossy, you can't convert a freaking oil change into a car sale. That's a 1 in 10,000 shot. It's much more likely you'll chase away customers and get bad reviews.

I just leased a 2015 Camry XLE from Mossy Toyota. I cosigned for my son Bassil Dabdoub (ZINO) who works for Mossy Toyota. The whole transaction from start to end was painless, smooth and pleasant. They overnighted the paper works to me ( to Florence, KY). I was able to sign the documents and mail them back in prepaid and self addressed overnight envelope. Being 2300 miles away was not an issue. Thank you Mossy Toyota for your great service , I look forward to doing business with you again in the near future.

So I scheduled my big 20k service today thinking I would have a couple hours of waiting around to do. I was actually excited to bring my laptop and get some much needed work done. Brian Robitaille was my wonderful service advisor again. He is always so kind and courteous and always gets the work done fast. Well today it was a little too fast! To my surprise they finished the work in like 30min! I didn't even get a chance to grab any coffee! Haha. I guess I shouldn't be complaining how efficient they are here. My advice is don't expect to come here and wait and get any work done! ;)
We've been buying and leasing cars at Mossy Toyota for so long now I've lost track. And in most cases we've worked with Jeremy, who is always super knowledgeable and professional but also very relaxed and easy to work with. And this last purchase was no exception. In short, we trust Jeremy enough that he is and will continue to be the one we ask for whenever we go there.
My wife and I visited this dealership with a check in hand and ready to leave the dealership with a new car. The initial salesman that we worked with, Kevin I believe was his name, was very helpful, knowledgeable and nice. It then came time to sit down and talk numbers. From here is where our experience went down hill! WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE EVER! The "Finance guy" (I was so turned off and upset i don't recall his name) came over and started talking numbers. He was extremely pushy and rude. He then decided to start talking about politics. Made comments about how he liked trump and then started to make jokes about Hillary. I told him that i do not talk politics and politely asked him to stop. his next comment in a demeaning tone was " I bet you don't talk religion either." What the F... is that supposed to mean. From there he challenged me and basically called me a liar that i was not ready to purchase a vehicle. when i told him that i would be back the next day because my wife had to go to class(which is 100% true) he got angry and started to walk away. I apologized to kevin and told him that i would not work with someone who blatantly disrespected me or my wife and started to walk out as he ripped up the paperwork we were working on and mumbled a bunch of stuff under his breath. Part of the "car buying experience" is the experience and this dealership in no way holds up the that.

Wanted to thank mossy and the internet sales department (we purchased a new 2019 Camry XSE last night !! ) after contacting multiple toyota dealers via the internet for their price on a Camry, Emilio was the first to respond and with the best prices on 3 Camry level trims. Days later other dealers gave higher quotes by few thousand dollars, few never responded and a few wanted us to come in to barter on a price No thanks !! Our xse model was cheaper than the others se models. Anyway they made us lifetime customers at mossy

I had been thinking of trading in my 2004 4Runner for a new one for some time so I stopped by Mossy Toyota because they were advertising some really good President s Day deals. As soon as I walked into the dealership I was lucky to be approached by salesman Marc McCrum. We started talking about what I was looking for and he immediately presented me with several good options. I had really stopped in just to see what they had but was offered such a really good deal that I ended up driving off in a brand new SR5! I love my new 4Runner and really love the deal I got. Marc was very patient and was never pushy. He spent a lot of time finding what I wanted and working up the best deal they could give me. In fact, the exact car I wanted was not in their lot, it was in Long Beach I believe. To make sure I got exactly what I wanted, Marc personally went and drove the car back for me. Now that is dedication! The whole time I was at the dealership, people kept greeting me and asking me if I needed anything. Even the sales manager made it a point to introduce himself to make sure I was being treated well. The finance director was also very pleasant and professional. He clearly new what he was doing and got all the paperwork done in no time. I have bought well over 12 cars over the years, 5 of them Toyotas, and I can say without hesitation that this was the best experience and the best deal I have ever gotten. I recently returned to Mossy Toyota to see Tom Larkin about a year after buying my used Hyundai Tuscon from him and was pleasantly surprised to see that he actually remembered me. I had some questions for him concerning my warranty along with a few other concerns and he was simply great about answering everything for me. I was especially impressed with Tom since he was clearly a little bit busy but still went out of his way to make the time to address all of my concerns without being the least bit annoyed or rushed. I had an overall great experience not only buying my car from Tom but also with his continued wonderful customer service afterwards. Jeff in the Service Department is remarkable. I'm so impressed and extremely grateful. I was having a dental emergency yesterday, when the check engine light came on! He told me to just relax and take care of myself, that he would take care of my car. He did! He told me what repairs had to be made immediately. Then Darrell gave me a ride home in the courtesy shuttle. The Service Department had my parts before 7am this morning. Now with car and dental issues I didn't know where to start. Jeff created a list of the items to fix/service over the next couple of months and prioritized them, too. I wish DDS was this good! Thank you Jeff! Alejandro and the other folks I met at Mossy Toyota were helpful and knowledgeable. I was treated with respect (not the condescension I've faced sometimes as a "little lady" doing car things on her own). They answered my questions clearly, showed me different vehicles and how they met various aspects of my needs/desires, and got me a good deal on the one I chose. I don't expect to need another car for a decade or so, but when I do Mossy Toyota will be my first choice.

Very easy to do business with. We've purchased multiple vehicles from Mossy over the years and have found them willing to offer the best deal. Most recently we purchased a vehicle through Robert Kuroda and both the transaction and atmosphere was very relaxed. The entire staff from sales through finance was very attentive to our wants and desires and did what was necessary for a mutually beneficial transaction.
