I used to go here all the time years ago, now I go here a few times a year. The food is still delicious, the waitresses are attractive, there are numerous TVs with sports on. The only real downside to his place is that I find it a little overpriced.

Great food with excellent service. The Staff make you feel welcome with attentative service & beautiful smiles.
Morty's gives back to the local community as well as a kids Foundation. It's always fun to watch a football game at Morty's.
Each game is on at the same time on multiple screens.
The Owners always make you feel like party of the family. We will be back often.

Wing night on Mondays and Thursdays gets bumpin, and they have decent specials the other days of the week too. I think this place has a good cross section of Waterloo and I always try to visit when I'm in town!

Morty's is always very lively and fun! The staff team are friendly and give great service no matter how busy they are. They serve great pub style food and their wings are always amazing! If I could be there every Thursday for wing night I would!

I was going to say it was pricy, but look at that burger. 21$ but it was enormous. I'm very very full. Had to be at least 8$ worth of ground beef in it. Fries were also good. Will be back. They served a large crowd in less than an hour. That's impressive

I wish a could review the food, but I was turned away for having a backpack. Which wouldn't be a problem, if I didn't see another patron enter with a backpack less than 60 seconds after me.

As a sports pub, I expected a better beer selection, but the wings here are top notch. The atmosphere is very good with lots of tvs with seemingly every game on. The beer selection was a bit lacking with few craft beers and mostly garden variety lagers. The prices are good though, what you would expect in a college town. The wings are also apparently what they are famous for and the hot wings we tried were delicious. We tried to go back the next day, but as it was wing night, it was too packed to get a table.

BEST. WINGS. EVER! Staff were friendly and attentive, great vibe here. You can get a lb of wings (6) and have 3 with one coating and 3 with another. I tried cajun dry rub, honey mustard, butter hot and sweet Thai chili. They were all amazing, my personal favourite is honey mustard - sweet with a delicious sour kick. Somehow, the wings are still super crunchy. Absolutely packed on wing night, make a reservation!

I've gone here for years and it's my all-time favorite place for wings. The wings are heavily breaded and in general their hottest wings are really good. More recently, however, their spicy sauce has been inconsistent, sometimes not so strong as I like it. And once the waitress nearly didn't accept my driver's license as ID (I was 32 at the time!). But in general I love this place.

Wings were good size, but when I ordered for pickup, apparently extra sauce means essentially none. Not very impressed considering the price. It wouldn't have been so bad if you could get the specials for pickup, and not just when you eat in.

I think my favorite memory of Morty s Pub is when I was just a wee lad, I was twenty one years old and I got a Rueben Sandwich, here s the thing about Reuben s though. It s not a real Rueben, it s a lie. They don t put Thousand Islands dressing on it nor do they really have anything comparable. I could put an oily vinaigrette on the sandwich instead remarked the one server. No you cannot, because that s not what goes on a Rueben, Rebecca! (just kidding I don t even know what her name was. If there is an actual Rebecca here I apologize. You re great!)

But I can t recall ever being here sober, so for what it s worth great Rueben and bomb sweet potato fries. Go kick rocks bud!

Use to be a lot better. Most of the servers would rather be on the phones than wait tables. Food has gone downhill. Wings are greasier, less sauce and a lot smaller than they use to be. Want a good cleanse? Go there because the last two times I have gotten food poisoning from them. Want good wings? Check out Moose Winooskis. Despite what Morty's menu says, Moose undisputedly has the best wings in town.

Today I ordered the deluxe burger with fries and a side Caesar salad. I was expecting an amazing burger and a regular side salad as a starter. What I didn t expect was to have the best Caesar salad I ve ever had. The bacon is fresh made in house. The team here at Morty s brines and smokes their own bacon. It was absolutely amazing. I ve always been a fan of the wings and haven t strayed from them until tonight. The fries are always on point and the burger was also fanfreakintastic. I know the next time I come I ll be more conflicted with that to order but I know I ll want to explore the menu even more. Thanks to everyone at Morty s Pub. Always a great time here and the new patio with the outdoor television is a great thing to have when the game is on.

Just had the poutine and it was delicious. That was Friday. Today I had the Tuesday special pulled pork sandwich with fries and it is awesome and a great deal. Bonus today live music with Paul James. Sweet sweet sounds

Love their Texas fries and wings... Portions are huge too. Price is average. Place is a little cramped and it's always busy - especially at night.
Service is average - same as any pub. There's one guy who works there that looks like Jack Black

food is less than mediocre and overpriced for what you get. they really lack vegetarian options. the servers are great but the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. this place would be a lot better if they got rid of him.

Went on Monday "the best wings in KW" night [Changed from Tuesday] and obviously for the wings. Here's the review:

1. Wings & Veggies side (optional):
Order a wet (medium) and dry (Cajun) rubs with a side of veggies/ranch, as I usually do when doing wings. Wings were meh/alright: breaded and fried, although the dry Cajun was dumped/over-whelming seasoned afterwards. Medium rub had a good tangy kick. Ranch was a bit watery and not as creamy as you would like when dipping veggies/wings.

I am more of a quantity wings person, so the 2lb wings amount of wings (~12-15 pieces) initially seemed limited. However, size and breading does balance it out to be moderately filling.

2. $3.29 Drink, must be purchased to get special:
Was surprised and disappointed that the overpriced pop ($3.29), with a good amount of ICE, had no refills! With my wings, I usually an additional 1 or 2 (max) refills before having enough sugar and switching to water, but not the case.

3. Service:
Sat a the bar in front of the screens, food came out all together after a reasonable time. Bartender/waitress was alright refilling water given she was also preparing drinks for order. People were also eating outside due to good evening weather, so noise was manageable.

Interested to try it out, but I'll probably be exploring other K-W places for Wings.

Great place to go catch up and eat with friends. Service is very good and they have some the best wings in town. I recommend the cardiac platter if you are feeling on the snacky app side or one of the wraps. Sundays they have a great deal on homemade burgers as well!

When I come to Waterloo I always make a point of stopping in
Doug the manager is friendly and our server's Mackenzie and Cassie were attentive and the food was good as well. I had the fish and chips and the portion was gigantic and freshly battered not frozen.
1 small drawback was the table we sat at it was a bartop in the corner as you first walk in and it wobbled. They tried to level it but I think there was something wrong with it. Which made cutting my fish just a tad awkward as we were worried about spilling drinks.

Amazing wings, burgers and plenty of great beer on tap. This is a great place to grab a bite and drinks with friends. Plus, it is very student budget friendly on their feature nights and staff is super friendly.
