After visiting the restaurant for a Taco Tuesday and getting very poor service. I met with the owner who assured me "He was sorry and he would take care of us" the poor service continued. I guess as long as people keep coming in they can discarded a few complaints. I assume if enough people attend you can discard a few complaints...shame on Morenos.
Good tacos, but very loud, service extremely slow. Margaritas excellent
Food was tasty, nice waiter!!!enjoying eating with friends in a cool environment out of the heat!!! Even with a party going out side we did find a place to park!!! And we were looked after and got plenty of chips and salsa ,tasty!!!!

No clear signs of direction of parking flow (1 way in & out). Horrible service (1/2 hr to take our drink order, 1/2 hr wait to get drinks (Margaritas - weak pour, we could've used the tequila) then another 15 minutes to come back and take our dinner order - party of 4) When the food finally came one shredded beef taco plate was cold, sent back for new plate, came back hot this time but now as a chicken taco? (this would be great if it was a magic show) The only thing the waitress was good at was excuses. Service was horrible, Food quality was adequate, Drinks were weak. I don't think I will be back.

I LOVE Moreno's! Great food at a reasonable price. They have a well-designed COVID dining plan with plenty of outdoor, shaded seating. You get GREAT service, there is a good variety of excellent menu options, and,, of course, they make KILLER tacos!

If could give no stars i would....the place itself very nice very festive decorated very nice patio...the inside of the restaurant not the best....mold odors the service was not the best either! Waited about 30 min for a waiter to take our drinks order and about another hour to get our food...waiter came to our table about 3 times saying food will be out soon lol seriously! Rice n beans disgusting! Over priced plates! Ridiculous!!! First n last time at this place! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!

Paid $26 for a dozen tamales. They were all dried up hardly any meat and nothing but masa. Throw them out. Never again will I go there. Waste of money.
50 year old family Mexican Restaurant with. Bakery attached. My wife went there as a child with her family so great memories...she is 57 now and said the food is the same...she loved it! As a former chef I enjoyed the food but it was really the excellent homemade tortillas they serve with quality butter Pat's and a killer spicey pickled vegetables... enough to take home with your leftovers.. looking forward to placing all in a saute pan chopped up with eggs in the am... GREAT Patio with huge trees! A classic...the son runs the place of the original owners...
My family and I are at Merino's at least twice a month, we love it, they have great food and fairly good service, kinda pricey but I think it's well worth the price

The tacos were amazing! As stuffed as I have ever seen. 1 Moreno's Taco= 2 anywhere else. Pretty patio and doing social distancing to perfection. Staff is beyond friendly and attentive to anything you need.

Salsa is way to hot for salsa. Too much cayenne or chili. Salsa should have flavor but not so hot that you can't enjoy itHuge portions. Tastes good. Good service

Warm authentic Mexican restaurant with a well shaded outdoor area ideal for family gatherings and reunions. Free bubbly and great brunch menu as well as a good assortment of mexican fare along wirh a friendly staff and a mariachi band, this is a local favorite. Well deserved 5 star rating.
Love the atmosphere whether indoors, on the patio...or at the bar for tapas and a world-class Cadillac Margarita. This restaurant is CONSISTENTLY good...so if you haven't been to Moreno's...you are really missing out. Thanks, Gary

Live music with mariachis, they walk around each table and one can ask for songs of our preference they don't charge but they do accept tips. You live a quiet environment. I recommend it.
This place doesn't deserve 1 star. The food is horrible. Greasy, bland, and gross. Margaritas were awful. Syrupy and thick. Horrible flavor. The service wasn't any better. Slow and rude. I don't know how anyone could eat here and enjoy it.
Food is great and the staff is friendly. On the Saturday night we went they had mariachi available to play a song at your table.
Best taco Tuesday, hands down. Can't beat 2 buck tacos absolutely stuffed with meat n cheese. Love the joyful servers as well. Parking can be tough.

It was awful...they forgot my soup, my non-alcoholic drink but they got everyone else'should orders just fine especially the alcohol. We split the tablet equally and my 'share' for only a salad was 30 bucks... plus the parking is TERRIBLE and often forces one to park in unlit scary neighborhood streets.
When I need my fix for Mexican food this is one place I can go they're shredded beef tacos I'm the bomb the atmosphere Outdoors is great Margarita's hit the spot but all around it is a great place for Mexican food
This place is absolutely fantastic! Family business for 50+ years in the neighborhood and the food explains why they're still on top. The tacos are absolutley fantastic the portions are amazing and the friendliness is off the charts. You may not even realize you're talking to the owner of the joint as the family works its hardest to keep the quality and tradition alive.
They have a great courtyard they're using to the max during COVID and doing everything they can to make sure you receive the quality of did m food and service you deserve.

Good quality Mexican food; not an upscale restaurant - rather, a casual, friendly, easy going restaurant. Strongly recommend eating outside on the patio under the two giant trees!

After you have left Disneyland for the day or while the kids are still playing in the park than this place if for you! The food is five star and the drinks are the same. If you don't know what to drink don't worry as you can ask the bartender to make something and they are in it.

Best Mexican food in Orange County. My wife has been going there since high school. Portions are plentiful. Tacos and enchiladas are something to behold! That said, their chile relleno needs a much larger pepper. Although large in overall size, most of it is egg batter.
There outdoor patio is covered by 2 huge pepper trees. Reservations are recommended. Excellent staff and service. Parking can be challenging, this place gets very busy. Highly recommended!

I was invited to attend for the "Dia de Los Muertos". The function was beautiful. The Mexican culture is demonstrated with such pride and respect. The Folkloric dancing and Aztec indian dancing was amazing. Great show!! Makes you feel proud to be MEXICAN!
