Useless experience, you will just waste your time and energy meeting a recruiter and after that nobody will respond to you.

Many thanks to Shelbi and Monument Staffing! As I came out of college to pursue a professional career and leave behind food service, I dealt with a handful of staffing firms. Out of those, I entered into the most productive relationship with Monument Staffing, far and away. I was provided with more than one very relevant opportunity, for someone like myself, for resume enhancing professional office experience. The companies I temped at were hiring internally and I might have qualified to apply there, but I did not; less than a year after working with Monument I am now working for an IBM subsidiary and still not content to rest on any laurels.

I met with one of their staff, reviewed my resume, covered some basics, and never heard from them again. I sent a few emails to the person I met with, but never got a reply. Pretty worthless.

If this staffing firm schedules an interview with the Center for Association Management Inc. (CAMI) you better RUN. You re better off finding a position through indeed. Do not trust monument staffing. All their jobs they can get you are dead end jobs with no room for growth.

On one hand, they found me a position and were always very responsive to my emails/phone calls. On the other, they were deceptive and pushy.

The positives: sent Monument my resume and got a response from Hannah the very same day. Arranged to visit the agency and was impressed by how efficient and approachable they were. They did get me a job, one which I currently still hold.

The negatives: I had made clear I was not looking for a temp position as I already had a job when I began searching with them. Despite this, they only set me up with an interviews for a temp positions. In order to get me to accept, they lied to me -- neglecting to mention I was in competition with another temp for 1 position and promising it was only temp for 2 weeks because the manager was away.

In the end, I am gainfully hired. However, the story could have just as easily ended poorly and I cannot help but feel slightly mistreated by Monument.

I worked with Melissa Saxe and had an amazing experience. Please understand that your experience working with any staffing agency is partly influenced by timing. In this instance, I happened to show up at the right time when the specific role I was looking for just happened to be open - a true needle in a haystack moment. Working with a recruiter who was professional, courteous, and fun to engage with was a wonderful bonus. Melissa was consistent and efficient in her communication style and I never once felt out of the loop. Above all Melissa began the recruitment process by LISTENING to what I wanted and avoided the suggestion of a direction or position that did not align with my goals. I highly recommend Melissa and Monument Staffing. THANK YOU - you seriously rock!

I absolutely am so happy I found this agency! Amy helped me get into a position the same day I came in to interview ( it helped that I was dressed for the job I wanted) she was so direct and only gave me options that fit my needs! Highly recommended!

Armando was a tremendous help during my job search. He is committed to finding you a job and is your biggest advocate. Literally within the first week of working with Armando I had two job interviews lined up. He is efficient, honest and amazing at communication. He is willing to text and connect after hours to ensure that all of your questions are answered. His personable character is refreshing and honestly, the fact that he is young made me feel more comfortable to have a friend-like conversation with him. He is well connected throughout the industry and if he ever doesn t know the answer to a question, he WILL connect you with someone who does. Overall, Monument Staffing is an amazing agency to work with and I'm happy to report that I landed a full-time job with benefits thanks to Armando.

I had a very refreshing experience working with Julia Spector from this company. Although I did end up accepting a position from a privately sourced organization, Julia was with me 100% during my job hunt process, with a positive and professional attitude, and really helped me get through with minimal stress. I'd really recommend her and Monument Staffing to anybody fresh out of college and perhaps lacking a bit of direction in their job search.

I've been working with Monument Staffing for the past two years and in all honesty they thoroughly exceeded my expectations. Going into the office, I remember not knowing what to expect. Like many of you scanning and seeking to find employment it can feel like a toiling process. But, then I met Melissa and the team and they worked with me until I found a well paying job and kept in contact with me ever since. They really look out for the job-seekers and go above and beyond. My personal shoutout, however, is to my girl Melissa! She's an angel.

I was assigned to work with someone and the day I showed up, she wasn't there. I then worked with Amy who only called me once for a internship position (although I distinctively said I was looking for temp to perm jobs) that does not match anything I was looking for. After I declined that one she basically stopped contacting me and I haven't heard a word from her for the past month. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Although I ended up accepting a job offer sourced independently, I had a very positive experience with Monument Staffing and would definitely recommend it to job seekers. It is not, nor should it be, an outfit that does all the work for you. Those expecting to be handed a job on a platter with no effort required should look elsewhere. But if you work with them, follow their advice on how to improve your resume and interview well, keep in touch and provide regular updates on your job search, they will deliver opportunities for you. Definitely a firm worth doing business with.

Probably the most useless experience I ve had working with a recruiting agency. I was assured after my initial meeting with Melissa that I would be receiving job postings via email to have never been reached out to once. I emailed her and received a losey response of being out of the office a whole week later. Pretty rude seeing how we had plans to touch base the day after the meeting. After asking for potential job postings again I never heard from her after that. This was truly the biggest waste of time. Take your job search elsewhere with employees that at least have the respect to return emails!

Amy Adamcin was perfect. She was the most helpful person I have ever dealt with and she really and honestly had my best interest at heart. I Moved to Boston without a job and by the end of my 1st week, I had four interviews lined up and now I have a great full time position.

I was laid off from my employer and was attending a career guidance program, whom initially gave me Monument's information. For a staffing agency that doesn't have a 5 star rating, the owner definitely has some nerve to be rude to potential clients. I had been up all night with my sick daughter and I had asked to reschedule my initial meeting with him and he refused because he "had too much on his plate to reschedule and wished me the best of luck in my search." I could understand if this was for a potential job, but this was just the initial meeting. There's FAR more courteous and flexible staffing agencies in the Boston area.

I will recommend Eric from Monument Staffing for anyone looking for a job! I struggled for months on my own trying to find a job, but once I got Eric's help, I landed an amazing job in 2 weeks! Can't thank him enough!!!
