The best way to enjoy the beer is to order the flight. My steak was superb, cooked a perfect medium.

Awesome food, good beer, really nice look inside but not special. Good price so not too expensive. I got pickles on my burger even if I sayed I don't want them but not a problem. All in all good restaurant.
Rock bottom, indeed. Boring atmosphere. Limited bar. Complaining staff.
I generally have a good experience whenever I come here. The staff is friendly and I feel that I get my moneys worth.
Interesting beers. Very nice facilities. Self guided though.
great place for lunch. very popular place to bring co workers. has a large patio area to sit at during summer. extremely busy most of the time. food is good for the price but the beer is awesome
Visiting from Virginia. Google maps brought me here and I am glad. The chicken mac and cheese was delicious as well as the monti cristo. Great home brews and a great location on the walking street of 16th
Too expensive, generic food. Not a great selection of drinks or food. Small servings for the price.
Horrible food, person next to us had uncooked chicken.
The food was good, but did not have too many unique choices. Good standard house beers.
Nice place to hang out. Average bar food, but not too loud so you can focus if you want.
The hostess told us it was open seating in the patio area, then we got kicked out because it wasn't open seating. Didn't try to get a new table or anything, staff was very rude.
Is Sunday 16 how 1pm I come to the patio the when I open the roll of silverware the napkin look have semen i order a beer the glass is broke on top ring the plete have a hair on the burgers
First time in Denver and been drinking microbrewery up in Fort Collins & Boulder & my experiences was . This spot didn't stand out for me and in house heifewisen was pretty standard. Only $3 for happy hour, consider pretty cheap coming from where I live, so I can't complain. I would only return for happy hour.
Awful service. 30min to get nachos, and they were cold. Asked server to take them back, no offer to replace or something else, no offer to comp a beer or anything else. No manager table touch, no service at all. Just a dude getting things from one place and taking them to another.
Absolutely awesome food. Takes a long time to get a drink when they are busy
Is this really how you serve meat in a tiny taco? I'd love to post a photo because it is gross! DELIVERY company postmates also delivered it in shambles
meh... same food you'd get at any rockbottom around the country... why waste your time?
Winter tartan was great hazelnut chicken very flavorful
Out of winter Tartan in Loveland
Good beer (I had the sour "Pank Drank"), nachos, service and a nice big patio!
It's ok, a slightly nicer Chili's with good beer. Mac n cheese tastes like cafeteria food. Try other places for food come for the beer only.
Great beer and very good fish and chips -- they're always hot and fresh out of the frier.
I ve never left a review online but their chicken fingers are so good
If you just go for one thing . Get the Mac and cheese. Top 3 of all time. Also the beer is amazing but not as good as the Mac and cheese... Seriously. Try the Mac and cheese
Solid downtown spot for grub and beers. Great patio for people watching. It's a chain but doesn't feel like it. The kolsch is a favorite. Always check the special beers. Beers brewed on site.
Had a bad experience at this rock bottom. We waited for over 45 minutes for a burger, pizza, and a pasta. I specifically said medium on my burger, next 45 minutes my burger came in and it was burnt. The waitress was really rude and had attitude when I approached her. She only offered a new burger and not other alternative. Very bad experience.
The place was clean and the staff were friendly enough. We shared some nachos which were so-so. The beer list had a good variety. I tried their porter (decent) and stout (meh).
Rock Bottoms are always pretty good...enjoyed this one!
First of all, the service was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend has a food allergy and the wait staff jumped through hoops to make sure she didn't eat anything she couldn't. They even prepared a special shrimp dish for her.
The reason for the low rating is that when asking questions about the menu items it became clear that the majority of the items are reheat and not fresh made. With the options in the area this is a big turn off.
Awesome beer selection, awesome food, great service! 10/10 would recommend.
Nice environment, clean and good food. Prices are within the acceptable range for this type of meal and so I can confidently say it's worth a visit.
Love the selection of appetizers and bar bites. The sift pretzel s are amazing and they have great craft brews!
The selection of beers lured me in and the food didn't disappoint. Had the bacon chicken Mac and cheese.
Was a great break from exploring up and down this walk friendly street.
Today the service at rock bottom was not that great. I've been coming here for a long time and the host staff ruined my experience from the start. Fist sitting us at a dirty table then being snotty by saying "you think you belong here?" When I asked to be seated at a different table. Jason our waiter was awesome, but the host staff has a lot of work to do considering they are the first impression of the business. I will not be coming back for awhile.
Went here to watch the World Cup semi final. It was okay but not great. Our waiter had a bit of an attitude... I was too scared to ask him any questions about the menu because he seemed annoyed already. The food was fine but not very good; veggies had too much oil, rice was good, but my side of black beans were way too salty. The atmosphere was quite good though.
I went here today for lunch and I loved it! The Kolch beer was super delicious, light and refreshing! I would recommend the bbq chicken chopped salad if you're looking to order a salad! Also, the onion rings are really good as well. If you're in downtown and looking for a brewery that has a cool vibe and isn't expensive, be sure to check this place out.
Great beers and food. I would definitely go back again...
Just went into rock bottom to get a drink and some food with my boyfriend after work. The only good thing about my experience was the beer. The bartender was an older male who was very inattentive. We got a beer each and ordered a pizza. When the pizza arrived the bartender almost hit my boyfriend and I in the face with the wooden paddle as he reached in between us to set it down. No words were spoken because he did not apologize or ask if we needed anything else. Shortly after the bartender then reached over my boyfriend's shoulder to pour a beer from the wrong side of the bar, not saying anything like "excuse me" or "pardon my reach". About 20 minutes later, we finish the pizza and our beers, and have still not been checked on or spoken to by the bartender. We were going to order another beer but never were given the time of day as paying customers to get that privilege. Both my boyfriend and I work in the service industry, so we would have been understanding if it was a busy night. Seeing as we were 2 of maybe 8 patrons in the building, and still did not get anything close to acceptable service is appalling. We will not be returning to your establishment due to the entitled bartender you have working wednesdays.
I come here often for the excellently-crafted beers. Every waiter and waitress is different but so far the experience has always been positive as a whole. The menu is diverse enough to satiate any average craving but it's the beer that will be having me return again and again.
If I could leave a reading of zero, I would. We had a company Christmas party here and they TOTALLY dropped the ball with ensuring our party was safe and a great experience. Even after reporting to the staff we were being harassed by people from the bar and these individuals were coming into our party uninvited and even being asked to leave, the staff did NOTHING. Instead, the situation resulted in an altercation and our party was cut short. Rock Bottom failed big time and we will never go back again.
Great menu, great atmosphere, and great service. The kids menu was also excellent the food was great. My family and I will definitely be returning.
Love this place! Can get very busy so time accordingly. Great beers, great food. Will definitely be back!
Went to a professional mixer. Good food, big variety in Beer on tap. Nice atmosphere.
Got the nachos and fried Pickles. The fried pickles were the worst I've ever had. So wet and soggy, completely inedible. The nachos were good, though the chicken was a little fatty.
We had a great night until we came in and met David. He was extremely upset that we bothered him during his social time w his coworkers. He DEFINITELY made it known to us that we should be doing everything on his time. We are super sorry we bothered him and your establishment! We will not bother you again in the future.
Came here with a fairly large group and were easily seated on a Sunday. The bar has tons of TVs for sports fans. I had a bourbonzola burger which was amazing. Loved the spices on the French fries. Our server was great in dealing with a large group. I would recommend going here
They let me have one of their regular burgers with the veggie patty, so I was pretty satisfied with the service. I wanted to try a beer, but put it off for a day so I could give their bloody mary a chance. In all honesty, it was terrible. It was like they watered down some V8 and put it in a glass with a quarter ounve of vodka (if any at all). There were no infused vodka options, which I believe should always be an option.
Even the server looked disappointment when I asked if this was an option.
The burger I got- I think it was called something like a bourongola... it had a bourban sauce, gorgonzola cheese and crispy onion strings on a delicious bun. It was friggin delicious! It was messy and sticky, but it was dang darn good. I ate half of it, and dealt with carting it around to eat the other half for dinner. You can sign up to be a member/patron/whatever at this brewery as well. Whether I can endorse this one or not is up in the air, because I didn't see the benefits of it.
They do host some stuff that looks good, like a beer and cheese pairing/tasting and a cider day. Wuzzah!
Waiting since 15 min. No waiter feels responsible to take our order.
Late night food, craft beer, and a nice patio make for a good place to grab a bite when in Downtown Denver.
We stopped in for a quick bite. Our appetizers and beers were great and the service was phenomenal.
Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Always packed though everytime I go there.
Delicious food and amazing service! Our waitress was plesent and efficient. The food and drinks came quickly. Overall a great experience if your looking for a laid-back pub atmosphere.
Good location but since this is a chain it is definitely more worth it to check out some of the more unique breweries in the area if you get a chance!
So the four stars is for the whole idea of Rock Bottom. It's a decent chain restaurant, consistent food and service, and good lively atmosphere. But the back bar of this particular venue should get it's own listing because it deserves 5 stars all the way. If you are going to Rock Bottom, call ahead and see if Rustin is working. Greatest bartender in the world! Guy is awesome. Service back there is great and i enjoy the darts and pool tables. Always has a pretty relaxed crowd too. Went there for New Years and it was a really solid night.
Features a lively and casual dining experience with fresh, handcrafted beers brewed on premise and an innovative menu. Rock Bottom is a great place for lunch, dinner or drinks on the patio.
#14 on The Best of Denver. The best places and must see venues in the Denver, Colorado Metro area.
Cool place in a good location. Great beer selection and the food was on point. Went here twice while staying in Denver.
I have been to a few Rock Bottoms, and have never had a bad beer.
My review is mainly for their event staff. Last year my company held our holiday party in their back room and it went great! Paige and her event staff are so professional and easy to work with. I've actually sent a few other companies to them for their events and was told they had just as great an experience. I would highly recommend this location for your next company event.
Pros: MAC AND CHEESE. ORDER IT
Cons: The girls at the front are bitchy.
Stopped in for dinner after checking into our hotel around the corner. Excellent food!! I've eaten at other locations, but it has been a while. Had fish & chips and this definitely ranked in the top end of above average. Will be happy to come again just for that. The service was fast and friendly, it made for a nice, relaxing, simple dinner.
I ordered delivery through door dash from here. I have eaten in person there a couple of times previously as well. My order was okay. Here's why. The jambalaya was delicious. Perfect meat to, spice to sauce ratio. However, my vegetarian guests who ordered a tossed house salad were not able to eat it because the basic house salad is chuck full of sunflower seeds. This information was not in any description on the app or order menu. Also it was full of over half a cup worth of raisins or craisins. Neither sunflower seeds or craisins are a standard ingredient for basic house salads at any restaurant I've ever eaten at or worked at. Not only that but maybe you should tell people or let people know strange ingredients are in your house salad to avoid people getting a salad they don't want or can't even eat due to allergies. Not everyone likes that! It was just not good.
Waitress did not check on us till we were about to leave. Didnt bring clean utensils. She would help everyone else and walk right by us like we were not there. Ruined christmas dinner date.
Took way too long. Had to skip our dinner to make the show.
This place is filled with tourists who are in denver for 24 hours, and has no character and mediocre beer. Go to Great Divide, Epic, or some other real brewery.
Steaks and veggies were overcooked
Service was sub par.
Beer was good!
I was bummed because I used to love this place. :(
I rather enjoyed the Mac & Cheese and the beer made in house!
Food and beer was delicious! Staff were polite and prompt.
One of my favorite place to go have a beer and enjoy being with friends.
Lobster and shrimp enchiladas are amazing. Beer was ok
I like it in every city I have gone to so far! Get the fries!
Mediocre service.
Steak sandwich was too salty.
Fries were cold. new order of fries was too salty to eat.
decent cider
Terrible. This was the place to go (way back when) but it sucks now. Awful food, sour beer, more staff than customers (but still despicable service) and the prices (for what you get) are outrageous. Too many other places to choose.
Food was phenominal, portions were large, and the prices are pretty good for Downtown Denver. The atmosphere is impeccable and themed by the brewery they have front and center. Staff was super nice. I would really recommend taking a stop here.
Had fish and chips for the first time. The were good.
food is average nothing special but I like the location especially in the summer!!!
