Montana's Cookhouse Review

Very bad experience for my takeout experience, i order 8 pcs antojitos for takeout i got my parcel when i check parcel at home only 7 pcs i got into it and among that only 4 pcs are proper so i paid for 8 and i got only 4 pcs that mean. really disappointed by quantity they give me. i called site manager and also give same feedback.

Great food awesome service , went in for the Express lunch menu well worth the price.

So i was at your restaurant on Friday night. Had a 10 oz steak dinner with coleslaw. My wife had chicken. Woke up with food poison around 12:30 that night. Threw up the coleslaw. Maybe you need to change the way the coleslaw is prepared.

THIS PLACE SHOULD GET SHUT DOWN. THE FOOD WAS NOT COOKED. THEY ALSO PLACED THE WRONG ORDER. MY TABLE AND 4 OTHER TABLES HAD THE SAME ISSUE AS WELL. THIS LOCATION IS VERY UNORGANIZED. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON 3 OCCASIONS BEFORE I DECIDED TO WRITE A REVIEW.

We had to wait 30-40 minutes for the waiter to bring our menu.
Another family came after us with more people and they got there food first. The chicken we got was burnt and they forgot to bring one of our meals. There was very small table in the patio because "there were no seats left inside" so we spilled our drink. They come 20 minutes after we are done our meals. Therefore, we will diffently not recommend you this "fast food" at this location. The one we went to in Niagra Falls was 5/5 stars.

So we guys recently went to this place. The food was good.. but we encountered pathetic services of the staff... we ordered ribs along with few more items from the menu... but the weird part was that the food was served without cutlery. We waited almost for 10mins to get the cutlery after the food was served. Super rude and arrogant staff.. I will certainly not visit this place again.

We have been regulars at this location for a while now and that is certainly changing. Today we ordered ribs and when the sauce was not what we wanted, it was sent back politely requesting the sauce we wanted. The kitchen wiped off the old sauce and re-sauced the old ribs. So it had the disgusting taste underneath, still could not eat it. I am sure this is not standard practice. When the waitress was made aware of this she just apologized, advised she spoke to her manager, and did nothing else. I said they re going right in the trash they are not edible, yet still paid full price for the meal. Our original waitress (Terry, who was amazing) had a shift change after our appetizer and the service went way down after that. I cannot see us returning for a long time.

Waitress was rude and she thought she was being funny. Tried putting in 0.00 as tip but gave up since it wouldn t let me. Food (chicken burger) was reheated and burnt...Waitress came back to check on us when we were already done...place was mostly empty. Never again. I can make same meal at home at yes -cheaper cost. The meal prices were higher than they were last time I went.

Owner: try fixing your product instead of apologizing to the negative reviews here. No one really cares about we apologize for your experience .

I had not been to Montana's in a long time but the food was just as I remembered, excellent! ! !

Omg it was used to be a good place to eat. I usually eat here every other week but they changed menu and selling steak for 29.99 like the old menu which is ok but u can eat this steak anywhere else for 15.99 and funny part they served it cold when you say it's called they out it on grill or microwaved the same piece which i bit before so how many people did they do this it's not sanitary what a shame.... My server was amazing tho but i came here to eat and it was just terrible. Thankfully my server asked me how is the food and i said just terrible after that she talked with the manager and changed the meat since I didn't like it at the beginning I asked my other favorite honking beef ribs.

I give it 4 stars because of Heather, very lovely lady and cheerful too bad we couldn't see her face coz of Covid. Nacho was good and humongous!

Good ribs. Amazing staff. Server flirted in front of my gf, so it loses a star. She could have at least slipped me the number...

Montana's is always a great place to go. The atmosphere is wonderful. Our waitress was phenomenal and the food was good. The hostess needs a new job though. She was less than pleasant and welcoming and made us want to go somewhere else.

It was lunch time for two, we ordered Sizzlin Steak, coleslaw and sweet potato fries plus desert. Service was perfect lady who served she was very nice and professional. Food... yummy-yummy perfectly cooked Steak, sweet potato uninspected delicious..

Ribs were very fatty even after being told otherwise. New kids steak kabobs not good not top quality meat/cuts. This location was disappointing from the menu to the servers.

Love their ribs, but don't get them at lunch. They'll be burned. always go for something with a sauce. Hate their seating.

The worst steakhouse in the area. Steak was tough and thicker than it was wide and the salad tasted old. I couldn't help but feel like the women dressed scantily to help compensate for the poor food quality. Beer selection was good and the atmosphere was very country. I will never return to a Montana's after the experience that I had.

They got my bill wrong and then they had me wait around trying to get it right. I was made to feel it was my fault.

This restaurant is beyond horrible . I used to go here all the time with my friends and it was great , never had a problem. For the last two visits there (one was early December and the other was at the end of December ) the food wasn t that great and on top of that the servers were rude and slow and the manager that I spoke to not sure of the name was even more rude . The manger was no help at all. I tried to explain to her that we wanted separate bills and we had scene cards and because our server was attending to everyone else in her section but us, we were not able to tell her that. So I asked to speak to the manger to let her know of the slow service as well as the fact that our server was extremely rude as well and not only did the manager come up with excuses but she was also rude to us also. I have not been back and will not be back. I did the survey on the bottom of the receipt in hopes I would be able to speak to someone about my awful experience but this franchise store doesn t care about customer service since I never heard back. I never write google reviews but I felt it was necessary that I write one since they clearly don t care enough to respond to the complaint I had wrote in on the survey . Like I said I will not be back and I ll make sure to tell friends and family about the horrible customer service this franchise store displays !

Thanks for the reminder. ..I am going to personally write the location....extreme wait for food and entree was COLD...we had a group of 15 and was not impressed....the waitress did well.

This branch offers a more laid back cozy experience than other locations I've been to. Preferred hangout spot for a group of friends to have a few drinks and some quick bites. Always meet nice and friendly staff whenever I go there.
Their menu offers a wide variety and caters to different tastes. Always something that satisfies a craving.
Definitely a place to come back to

I was very disappointed with my dinner. I ordered the rib and wing combo. The ribs were advertised as fall off the bone. They were anything but that. They were more of a chew off the bone variety. The wings were over cooked.

Great customer service. Good food. Happy location. I will be back!

This is a nice location, no complaints about this place at all. Food was good, beer specials were even better. Decent prices and great service.

Went for lunch, everything was cooked with fresh oil, came very quickly, fresh food. Deserves the 5 star rating

The reason I visited this location today was because they were able to accommodate a large party . We came with 4 children. We order our food and waited 30 minutes just for two appetizers to arrive. They we waited another 30 minutes for the food to come out. When we asked for the manager we were notified that the manager has stepped out and was not available.
One of our party members ordered fajitas the pita and the condiments arrived before our meals since the children were hungry she gave them the pita. She asked the server to bring her extra fajitas as she ordered all you can eat. She waited another 20 minutes and asked again for the pita. What's the point of all you can eat fajitas when you have to wait 20-30 minutes for them to bring you one item.
The manager was also rude. On the menu it doesn't state the price for all you can eat fajitas, the server also did not mentioned anything all the menu has is a red sticker all you can eat fajitas and beside it says 19.99.
When we brought to the manger attention all she said was that of course you will pay more for all you can eat and that it doesn't state on the menu. She also said you guys got a discount already paid for the meal basically just go. Very rude service and I would not recommend this location. to anyone.

I do not put 5 stars because I think they should serve more food for the price of the dishes and how delicious everything is.

Decent food at decent prices and service was good. In fact, when one of our orders were under cooked our server responded by having them cook a new steak for us, while not charging us for the original. A mistake that is well handled is a big win in my books.

Friendly service. Loved the food and the sports bar look. Would go back again for sure

Delicious trio plate. My son loved the grilled cheese bread, and my husband really like the ribs. Nice waiters and cozy place to enjoy with the family.

Food was so greasy , the worst fish and chips i have ever had

Okay service, liked the spinach dip each time I've come, but I've tried 3 or 4 different dinners now and they were all disappointing.

Will probably comes just for drinks and appetizers in the future.

Delicious!!! We ordered ribs and Ka-Pow Shrimp, we loved it. Staff was friendly and razonable prices. Definitely I recommend Montanas at Courtney Park in Mississauga.

Comfortable seating and the staff is friendly. The service is a little bit slow.

Brought me a beer with yeast piece from the pipes in it. Most disgusting thing i ever had in my mouth. Server was non phased about it and just said it happens.. Food was decent. But i got so groused out by the beer i don't think i will go there again.

Great place for apps and drinks. The lounge is lively even on Sundays. Friendly service and great deals for the family as well.

Really like the place! It is very nice, staff very friendly, ManMugs are nice, heavy and cold!! Recommended!!

If I could give a -5 stars I would!!! Horrible service. The place was practically empty. My family came in and we re sitting down at table. We were given the menu then the hostess disappeared not even mentioning that our server will be there soon. As we decided our order we were looking around and hollering at a waitress any waiter that passed by. They did not even acknowledge us. Each one starred at us but did not approach us at all to let us know what was going on. Even the manager didn t even acknowledge us being there even after trying to get his attention. We were waiting for 30 minutes until we decided to leave because of how rude and not accommodating their service was. They were entertaining every customer except us. Acting as if we weren t even there!! I m never coming to this restaurant ever again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Friendly staff did an amazing job accommodating our hockey team! The food was great, kids had a lot of fun!

Went to Montana's for the first time, this happened to be the closest location to where I was. I had Fish & Chips and it was terrible, there's so much oil in it. I hope the rest of their menu doesn't taste like their Fish.

Service was quick. Any issues were dealt with gracefully. (Fries were cold, hot ones were given quickly)

Not much to tell, fries were amazing tho, we ordered 2 servings to go. The kids loved their burgers.

This, hands down, has been my favorite place forever. Never disappointed! Keep rockin' guys!

I go to Montana's now and then but I always leave disappointed. Over the years thier portions seems have gotten smaller as the po prices went up. The food quality has suffered as well. It's just mediocre food. The service at this location was great, fast, courteous, and pleasant.
