I was so happy with the monroe dodge when buying m...

I was so happy with the monroe dodge when buying my car. However the service was a very negative experience and if i havent paid for my oil changes in advance i would not be back. It was my first visit in the repair shop to drop off my car, i was treated very poorly, i wasn't sure who to talk to, or what to do. The attendent barked at me to pull in my car, yet i couldnt. He then backed a car out but left me little room to even pull my big charger in, i had to ask for assistance. I came back to pick up my car at 855- whcih i realize is 5 minutes before the shop closed and that was my mistake, but i was scolded for being late, even though it wasnt 9 pm. Very negative experience for a woman who isnt sure the protocol in a shop.

I'm from Illinois and while visiting my parents in Monroe my Jeep was having trouble starting. The cable had come off of the shifter. Had the vehicle towed to Monroe Dodge Chrysler Jeep to have the cable re attached. Was told that the starter was bad and needed to be replaced. This vehicle has just over 30,000 miles on it. I was charged over $750 to change a starter. 3.5 hours of labor and over $200 for a after market starter. Mind you to change a starter is two bolts, a battery cable and one wire on a stab. But I was over a barrel and paid this ridiculous amount. Once I returned back to Illinois . On my back in the driveway I removed and re installed the starter in under 45 minutes. I also priced a new starter that was $90 without my military discount. The term unrepeatable rings true here.

I just purchased a used vehicle from this lot and all I have to say is that the customer service is superb. Joey was our sales associate and he was very educated on the vehicles. He was able to answer every question my wife and I had about the two vehicles we were looking at. I would encourage anyone looking in the area to stop in and look around.

My husband and I just leased a brand new Jeep Cher...

My husband and I just leased a brand new Jeep Cherokee last Thursday evening and the entire experience was fantastic. Shirley was a pleasure to work with. She showed us a couple of different vehicles and was very thorough in explaining all options that were available to us. She was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend dealing with her if you are in the market for a vehicle! The entire process went very smooth and we were finished in a timely manner, especially considering we had a vehicle to trade in. The finance manager was was a pleasure to work with as well! Any future vehicle leases or purchases will hands-down be done in Monroe!!! Worth the drive from Rossford, Ohio!

Would not advise anyone in Monroe County to use Monroe Dodge they are very UNTRUSTWORTHY
they will look you in the face and tell you one thing and go behind your back and do another.
I stopped in and took a test drive they ran the paperwork said everything looked good they would
bring the car I like in from Ohio and I could come and get it the next day. I asked them to please do not hit our credit with a bunch of places because I did not want our scores hit hard. After assuring me that would not happen I then get an alert they hit mine 5 times and my husbands More than that.
I was told to my face Listen I am hear for you but I guess a Car salesman is just that A person that
tells you what you want to hear to benefit themselves and not the customer. When it doesn't work out for them they give up on you.

NEVER! Let me repeat, NEVER ever ever ever ever EV...

NEVER! Let me repeat, NEVER ever ever ever ever EVER bring your car here for service. Their "five star sales and service team" motto is a joke.

I would give this place a rating of -10000 if I could.

One month, ONE MONTH these guys had my car and did not touch it. Oh I'm sorry, no, when it first got there they checked the oil, saw there weren't any metal fragments in it then parked it.

Matt was my service advisor and this is basically how it went from the day I dropped it off and after they "checked the oil":

Two and a half weeks later call me for service records. Provided those. Only to ask for records prior to 30,000 miles. I then said, "when you run my VIN, do you not see I bought this certified pre owned at 32,000 miles?

I get put on hold "oh yea, now we see that, we will start your car right away."

Week and a half later, "we are sorry for the inconvenience however we have not brought your vehicle in yet, we promise we will get it in Monday." (Mind you, a week prior they said they will work right on it)

Tuesday rolls around. "My service manager is sending photos to Chrysler for warranty information, let me call you back in a few when I have more answer's. "

Six hours later "let me put you on hold.... (five minutes later) I'm sorry, but we have not been able to pull it in yet since our first diagnostic three weeks ago. We are working as fast as we can. (mind you he lied to me previously saying they looked at it and they are currently sending pictures to Chrysler)

I later called and told them to get my car ready as it's getting towed to a different dealer where it will get worked on instead. Glenda in service got VERY snarky and defensive towards me saying she didn't care that I was getting it towed she was happy that they won't be working on my vehicle.

This place will give you the run around and do nothing for you. Because they haven't even checked to see if anything was under warranty I have now been paying for a rental out of pocket for the past month.

Customer service is horrible. They people are crooks. Either they are lazy or have no idea what they are doing.

Again don't even step foot on this lot unless you want to practically be robbed of your time and money.

Never bought a car here. They seem nice and others I know have had good experiences buying. Do not get service here, three times took PT Cruiser in. Three times misdiagnosed or paid for service not done.

I gave them a text message from their website yesterday with in under 10 minutes somebody was texting me back and had called me and then Saturday morning they canceled my Rent-A-Car they didn't have a rent a car for me so I pulled over on the side of the road and I'm a praying man so I said a prayer and all of a sudden my phone rings these people call me and said come over here we'll see if we have the part they ended up looking at it and found that it was just a rubber o-ring that I had left in when I changed my filter so I was looking at a $500 bill I left there with $82 Bill and a full mobile one synthetic oil change and a new filter this along with the massage that I got in their chair and their coffee. This will make me a life-long customer I have never seen a Jeep dealer or any dealer go to this extent it's worth the extra 15 Mile out of my way Mile Drive and then some.

This was the first time I was at Monroe Dodge. I was there just to look, but less than 2 hours later I drove out with a new truck. The first salesman to greet me was Alex Spalding. I told him that I was there just to look. I NEVER felt any pressure and was completely comfortable while I was looking. When I found the truck that I was interested in, I found Alex and he gave me the price. The price was well under the price of 3 other dealerships. His professionalism in salesmanship made it easy buy. Thanks Monroe Dodge and thank you Alex for making this by far, the most enjoyable car buying experience I ever had.

After 3 failed attempts at getting BJ fixed in our hometown(Maumee), and discussion on the GCC page, we made the drive to Monroe and had a very pleasant experience with the service team there. Terry had a good idea what it was after talking with me on the phone, and that s exactly what it ended up being(Broken Spider Gears). Sarah kept us informed on the progress while the parts were on back order.
Thank You and we highly recommend the service team at Monroe Dodge!

I generally like the Monroe Superstore it's close and convenient. Jeremy Jenning's is a friend of mine and is a great new car salesperson. I would recommend seeing him, and if you think about it tell him, I recommended you.

Get a lot of my work done on my Jeep Wrangler there but sometimes it is pricier to get dealership work, and when that's the case I go elsewhere.

I just had some recall work done on my Jeep and the service guy quoted me 2-5 hours to get the job done. I thought that was a big-time gap and thought it should have been more precise but to top it off it took 7 hours. I had to call them three times to find out when it was going to be done. I think the guy I was dealing with was new or something. I wanted to be kept up to date on my vehicle as that affects my plans. So for the service department, I give them two stars rating and say they need to keep their customers up to date and call them back promptly.

They do offer shuttle service which I think is nice and important to me as I could need this service. Lol glad I didn't decide to wait there for this last job, IE, the 7-hour job.

I also rate their parts department only two stars. I called about a part for my Jeep that they did not have in stock and they refused to give me the part number. When asked why I couldn't get the part number they said because then you will find the part online for cheaper and we lose business. Won't be buying parts here anymore! Called another Jeep dealership in Toledo and they gave me the part number and was fine with me ordering the part online somewhere else.

We were definitely surprised with the professional experience we incurred at Monroe Superstore. If you are in the market for a new vehicle whether new or used, I highly recommend Scott Schimmel for your sales professional. He is extremely knowledgeable about all features in a vehicle and no high pressure whatsoever. We received a great deal on our trade and Scott found us the Perfect vehicle for our lifestyle at a fair price. Highly recommend this dealership.

We shopped multiple dealers. Monroe beat the others by a significant margin. We drove from Troy to get our car and it was worth every minute of the drive to get there. Jamee and Mac were probably the best sales people I ve ever worked with, and I ve bought more than 10 cars in the last 15 years. Very honest and value oriented.

From the moment we walked in WITHOUT an appointment to the ease of only being there for 35 minutes for warrenty work anytime I need to take my truck in this service department will be my first choice . In addition to this their customer waiting room was AWESOME their Infinity relaxing chair made the time fly by

Dropped my Jeep off for an oil change and was lied...

Dropped my Jeep off for an oil change and was lied to my face 3 different times by Service Rep saying I needed fuel system cleaned to keep from voiding my warranty. Looked up my scheduled maintenance and warranty when I got home but found nothing about needing fuel system cleaning. Called Monroe Jeep to stop the fuel cleaning but was told my Jeep was already done. After arguing with service manager was basically told that I signed the release so there wasn't much they could do besides splitting the bill. BEWARE! Don't let this happen to you! I will never again bring my business to Monroe Jeep!! I had a bad experience with their sales staff years ago and only brought my Jeep there for oil changes because it's only 5 minutes from home. It's sad that you can't even trust them for something as simple as an oil change. Never again.

After blatant fraud by Friendly Jeep in Warren, we found a similar vehicle in the color we originally wanted online. I sent a short note explaining the terrible experience we just went through at Friendly, the price we were looking to pay, and a please advise. It was a Sunday and we got automated reply assuring us we would be contacted asap. Monday morning Mark Lawrence, called from Monroe Dodge. He received my message and we proceeded to discuss moving forward on this purchase. Within an hour, he had us approved for the amount we wanted to pay, and said come in and get your car. We proceeded to drive the hour and a half, still a little skeptical from our previous experience. When we arrived, our vehicle was sitting out front, all clean and shiny with a full tank of gas. We met Mark for the first time, loved the showroom and his associates, who were all wonderful no pressure people. Financing was ready and exactly as promised. Seriously, I cannot say enough about how comfortable and easy this was. I would hang our with these guys outside of work! We were out of there in an hour, with plates! I would give them 6 stars if I could, and drive twice as far. I Highly recommend Mark Lawrence and Monroe Superstore! I'll be back, had my eye on a used Porsche SUV and a Tesla sedan!... Troy

If i could give no stars i would the service dept is horrible. Even when you show them the issue they still don't find it or check it out. Even talked to the low payment king himself and service still sucks. Called in advance to make sure they could do an oil change and rotation they say sure bring it in and when i get there they tell me they can't I'll have to come back. Just horrible recommend to nobody!!!

James Bell was kind enough to speak to his boss who was willing to have me pay for the oil change and then they did the tire rotation for free. I've been an emotional mess to say the least, but they were kind enough to help me out.

Given a 4:30 pm appt by customer service with Sales manager L Gardner. Mr Gardner introduced himself and after a question or two as two my vehicle interest I was turned over to an intern who by the way was a very courteous young man. He took me outside and mind you it was plus 91 degrees July 9 and preceded to walk me around the lot looking at vehicles. Mr Gardner who had no intention of sitting with me nor did any other salesperson. I asked the intern/porter after he showed me the only Ram truck they had available at the price advertised on their website (good thru July 30) if I could not speak to someone. This was after waiting one-half an hour. I was taken to the leasing mgr who introduced himself as Mac. He explained that the Ram truck shown was the only one they had. They had an extraordinary busy month and had sold over four hundred cars. For some reason He read my body language as disbelief and informed me that he was a veteran (as I am by the way) and presumably his service should speak for his integrity. I walked out of the dealership and was followed by Mr Gardner who after 45 minutes now wanted to speak to me. He explained they were overwhelmed and maybe just maybe I should understand because he asserted that what ever I did for a living in the past that I must have had bad days as well. That if I leased vehicles before that I should be aware that vehicles advertised are not always available. And if I had been more cooperative he might have been able to help me out, whatever that means. My issue is lack if consideration as well as customer service skills. Spending five minutes with me at the beginning and explaining his (short staff) quandary would have helped considerably. Asking me to come inside and have a private discussion instead of a public disagreement would have been preferable. I drove 20 plus miles at the suggestion of a friend who had a good experience. Lucky him.

We recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Renegade, our first new vehicle in years! Everybody at the Monroe Dodge was very friendly & helpful. Our salesman, Chad Reigle, walked us through everything, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, and was easy to talk to. We felt like we ve always known him. We will definitely be recommending Monroe Dodge to others!!
* Update as of 12-15-18: Today we went in for the first oil change. Everyone was friendly, courteous, & professional. Chad greeted us on the way out & asked how we were enjoying our new Jeep. My wife enjoyed the massage chair in the waiting room. And the service time was quick. Once again, we ll recommend Monroe Dodge to anyone!

First time coming here, son got a 09 dodge carava...

First time coming here, son got a 09 dodge caravan for winter use, oil dipstick handle broke off just below sleeve, also rear windshield wiper arm was broke, stopped by and they were able to get it in immediately, had a special tool used to pulling broken dipsticks and also was able to cut knerl off of wiper shaft and install new wiper arm.in and out in less then an hour.

Well, I'm not sure where to begin.

Well, I'm not sure where to begin.
I was an idiot in a hurry, and I hit a pole with my Jeep doing over 5K worth of damage to the front axel assembly!
I brought it to Monroe Dodge, and it took QUITE a long time to get everything done...(like almost 1.5 months partially due to Geico).
After I got my jeep back (needed the entire front axle assembly) I drove it for about 2-3 hrs when WHAM! The whole front end of the jeep locked up at 50+ Mph! Could have killed everyone in the vehicle, I was lucky to maintain control. Come to find out, either the manufacturer or the dealer forgot to put oil in the differential! VERY DANGEROUS situation.
Monroe Dodge was very apologetic, and offered a loaner vehicle. And this time, they got my jeep in and had it done in 2 days! I thank them for stepping up to the plate and taking care of this....as in all reality it was the mechanics duty to check the differential before letting it out of the shop. Well, they fixed their problem, everyone is safe, FORTUNATELY, no harm done...except maybe some flat spots on my front tires....a great deal on some new tires would have been nice...maybe they will still make me a deal.
Because of their diligent efforts to correct their problems, I'm giving them 4 stars....considering the first problem, I would have given 2-3 stars. But, they really worked hard to correct it, and I thank them for that...4 stars.

UPDATE:08/27/2014 After arguing with Glenda the service manager about my damaged tires I left disgusted a few weeks ago. She is "PC" to the max, and couldn't apparently recognize, apologize or even remember us after her service department almost killed my family when the front end locked up at 55 mph.

Fortunately, a call to the owner J.P. got things settled without "setting up an appointment to verify the damage to my tires". Mind you, she manages the shop that installed the first axle to replace the one I damaged, and then re-installed/replaced the new shattered axel that locked up because they forget to check the oil..this screw up cost them roughly $4,000..yet she 'forgot who I was".

So to make a long story short, they gave me a NEW set of tires to replace the ones that were damaged...all be it with a bit of scrutiny? I was a bit surprised, and I could say more, but we shall leave it there...Thank you J.P for making it right.

All is working and fixed and right now, and my jeep doesn't sound like a beaver slapping his tail while driving down the road...YAY!

I don t write reviews often but my experience with this company is a story I think needs told in order to warn future customers. I understand everyone s experience can be different, but I wish I would have taken all the reviews of this dealership to heart instead of rolling the dice. just moved to Monroe and I bought a vehicle from them, one that was held at their Ohio location, which they were able to deliver. However, it was pretty late when the car arrived, so around 8pm I got a call asking if I wanted to come get it, I initially said no because it was getting late but was told not to worry as it wouldnt take that long. We didn t leave the dealership that night (on a weekday) until 11:30pm. The car was completely on empty so I had to get gas on my way home (I live only a few miles away) but I was told I would get a gas card on two different occasions to make up for the lack of gas at pickup and never did. That night while going over the loan I was told it was going through Chase bank only to later get the paperwork back for PNC, not that big of a deal but still seemed odd they gave me wrong information. When asked if I was interested in an extended warranty I said no, but the salesman talked us into it by promising the warranty covered most everything, including the electronics/radio.
Fast forward to 3 months shy of a year having the car my check engine light comes on. We stopped at AutoZone for a test and it came up that the thermostat was bad. Knowing I had a warranty that I could only go through them for I took the car to their service center after being told that they were booked out for an entire week. We dropped off the car at around 9AM and was told if they didn t get to it today it would be tomorrow and they would look into the warranty. Never received a call, I let it go and just called the next day around noon. I was told to fix the thermostat and do a flush we were looking at close to $800.00 and surprise the great warranty I was talked into buying didn t cover the part. We then found out that we would need to pay a $120 diagnostic fee. When we first brought it in we were told they couldn t let us know if it was under warranty until the diagnostic was done even though the machine confirmed the same thing AutoZone did.
I was then told the warranty also had a $100 deductible on it. So in order for me to ever use my warranty I have to pay a $120 diagnostic fee just to see if the part is under warranty and if it is I am responsible for the first $100.00. They cannot tell me what is covered under my warranty without just looking at an individual part, so there is no way for me to look at any kind of list letting me know what is and isn t covered. After getting nowhere with the service center and pretty much being told we signed the contract so we should have known better (which is a fair statement but for a company to offer a warranty then later when they are trying to get over on you with it tell you that we should have read it closer seems even more like a scam, real professional). We paid the money and took the car, which had crushed pack of cigarettes and ripped cardboard pieces on the floorboard that were not there when we dropped the car off. So now I can only use the warranty at a place that is unprofessional, overpriced beyond belief and charges me $120 just to see if a part is under the warranty, they sold me. I am most upset with myself for being naive enough to believe that a business is good on its word, and might uphold the age-old tradition of treating its customers respectfully and honestly.

These guys tried to put me in what they wanted me to have, sorry -it doesnt work that way. I told the salesman my expectations before I got there, he assured me he could help. When I arrived it was something totally different I was offered a '16 patriot, (they had like ten patriots) a '15 200 (they had like 4 of these) & even a couple older vehicles but neither of the vehicles I was actually interested in. I noticed they were trying to put me in what the were trying to get rid of. I went to a different dodge dealer and they put me in the vehicle I wanted.

After having my 2004 Jeep liberty for over 6 1/2 years, and with a baby on the way, it was definitely time for an upgrade! It was my first time buying, well leasing, a brand new car and Mac Clark couldn't have made it any easier! He was so personable and made everything very simple and painless. And even though there was a factory recall on the jeep compass, and i couldn't get it for about 2 weeks, Mac never failed to call me and keep me updated! Very satisfied overall with my new 2018 Jeep and with his exceptional service!

Towed my 2014 ram in last Thursday 12/26 to be repaired and just got looked at this afternoon 12/30 but was told I would have easement on 12/27. Called 12/27 4:45pm and was told it wasn't looked at and was then told it would be looked at first thing in morning on 12/30 well that didn't happen either. Finally called about four times after 4PM and got info about my truck. Was told it'll still be at least 4 or 5 days before it is repaired. Very unhappy. I've bought over 4 cars from them. Never again and I will take my cars elsewhere to be fixed.

horrible service ....will not be back....ever and that includes 7 family members, and we have been loyal customers for 20 years...went else where to get my van fixed and it cost us under $120...where not only did superstore not go through our warranty but told us that the fix would cost us around $1100. hmmm, talked to the warranty people and they told us the "service manager" didn't want to risk the job because we couldn't find all of our oil change receipts (our bad) because she thought the engine may have sludge...(mind you without looking at it) and even though earlier this year we've had the engine flushed...well ..it didn't have sludge..and its fixed..so no more buying cars from this place..gotta be able to trust the whole company not just parts (besides our sales guy left awhile ago)
