Highly, highly recommend this company! Very happy with the purchase of my Cybex Arc trainer and the serviced I received! I had been shopping online, comparing prices and came across this company. I called for some information and decided to place my order. Their price was hand down the best I found. Since I live in GA, I had it shipped to me. The item was off the pallet when it arrived and I called to report it. Everything seemed fine, but during my first workout, I discovered an issue with the incline and resistance (that occurred in shipping). Not only did they send me a new machine (which was in even better condition) but they personally delivered it and picked up the old one. Could not have been an easier company to work with. Everyone from the owner to the service manager to sales rep to the guys who delivered it were fantastic to work with! They will be my first and most likely only stop when I add to my home gym!

I went in this place yesterday wanting to look around and price some gym equipment for my garage. The lady at the desk remembered who I was from our phone call, I didn't leave any info except where I was driving from so that was a good sign to me right off the bat. I was introduced to Lucas who talked with me about what I was looking, He took me and my wife and showed us the things we were looking for (Squat Rack, Weight Set, Bench, Stair Master, and Floor Mats), he was answering all of the questions in a professional manner. I liked the fact that it wasn't like buying a new car, if I didn't want something there was no pressure to buy it. He definitely made us feel like we were valued customers.

Some of the equipment is used, new, and refurbished like new. The prices are reasonable and you pay for what you get, if you want cheap they have used equipment and if you want quality then you can get the new and/or refurbished stuff. I ended up buying floor mats and a weight set for now and will be buying more in the near future.

If you want gym equipment for a small gym or to replace some items in a gym or start with a few things for a home gym, this is the place to go. I will recommend this place to anyone who is serious about gym equipment. I live 3 hours away and the drive was worth it.

Great experience buying a Lower Back machine. Lucas was a lot of help and the machine arrived quickly and was beautifully palleted and wrapped. Perfect condition.

Came in and talked with Lucas about getting some crossfit equipment. He was very helpful and willing to help us out. Turns out they were closed and he still let us come in and look at what they offered. Definitely will be supporting them in the future!!

I would not recommend, great prices but they left off half my order because they didn t have it in stock when they said they did when I ordered it. Which wouldn t be a issue if they would have owned up to it, however they packed all my stuff in the truck and handed me the invoice that said everything was included. Next I ordered a cerekoted green barbell, it s definitely not cerekoted because it s flaking off horribly. The barbell it self isn t too bad quality but I paid for a cerekote and did not receive it. Even after it took them weeks after me purchasing it to finally recieve it! Lastly the bumper plates they resell are kg, that they have painted over and sold as pounds. I lifted at the local gym and the weights just felt heavier so I googled their(Carolina fitness) plates and there has been other saying they resell kgs as pounds. I weighed mine and sure enough my plates were all under weight. However the squat rack I bought from them is great and so are the dumbbells. Customer service was ok after I went in with multiple complaints.

Great prices on almost any exercise equipment you can think of. They sell both used and new equipment at very competitive prices. The sales staff is very professional and friendly, even toward someone like me who was only buying a single piece for personal use. If you're in the market for fitness equipment, you're likely to find a good deal and lots of inventory at Carolina Fitness Equipment.

I opened a Barbell Club in March and received most of my equipment from CFE. Kevin and Joanna were a pleasure to work with, but the overall experience as it relates to pricing and timeliness could've been better. My main concern with this company is the high cost for installation and delivery. It's almost as if they prefer not to help with these components and as such, they price them extremely high to deter using them as a resource. For example, the cost of my flooring was $4,400 and installation was $3,600 (NOT including floor prep). I've never seen installation cost as much as the product. I wanted (4) machines delivered and was quoted $150 and then quoted $350 later because the Ops Manager thought $150 was too low. I asked for a quote for (6) machines to be delivered and was quoted $850. I'm sure there are many factors that come into play with these prices, but all in all - they're incredibly high which was discouraging.

Not sure if I went to the same store as Renee Lutz! I have bought a couple of rowers and other items from Carolina Fitness and the customer service was nothing less but fantastic. Not only were the prices great, but the items were delivered to me exactly when I needed them and there was no issues what so ever. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for any type of fitness equipment, you will not be disappointed! The customer service is fantastic! I will be back soon

Great place. Bought lots of dumbbells there and I got in and out. they assisted me by saving me two trips to get my dumbbells to my place. Saved a lot on shipping and I am thankful for that. also the dumbbells are very good quality and so much cheaper than other companies.

I was very happy with my decision to visit Carolina Fitness Equipment today. The entire team was very welcoming, professional and accommodating. I was able to work with Scott who was kind enough to take me on the floor to look at different options, ultimately helping to find the right solution to my needs. He went above and beyond in helping me track down just the right piece of equipment. As a fitness enthusiast, walking through the CFE facility was like a kid in a candy store. They have a HUGE mix of products ranging from cardio equipment to olympic lifting to traditional weight training. I had a great experience and will definitely be going back for more!!

I first found Carolina Fitness on Craigs List. Dave and I emailed back and forth a couple of times and spoke on the phone. I was in the market for a stair machine. I did not want one of the over priced low quality home units. We went down to the their office in Charlotte Dave took us around explained various options and helped us pick the best peice of equipment to fit our needs. They got it all set up and we picked it up a couple days later. Great service, friendly people. Very happy with the eqipment and the price. i will go there next time I need a peice of equipment and would recomend others give them a try.

I would like to start off by saying that this company should be ashamed of themselves. I would think that being a business owner myself the number one priority is customer service, they have failed miserably at this. I purchased 3 treadmills from Carolina Ftiness Equipment that were expensive, from the moment they were put in service at my facility I have had nothing but problems with them and have been EMBARRASED to have these items in my club. Carolina Fitness Equipment sent a service rep out in an attempt to fix the situation, as of right now I have one treadmill that wont even turn on. Chris the service rep manager said they could send someone over for $150. This is outrageuos and they should be embarrased of not only their less than satisfactory equipment but their horrible customer service. I would think that you would want to continue to have a good relationship with someone that would have continued to purchase equipment and help build future relationships. Not only will I NEVER purchase anything from CAROLINA FITNESS EQUIPMENT but I will make the people that I am affiliated with aware of the way I was treated.

Worked with David on getting a new Concept 2 rower and he hooked me up with same day delivery since I lived close by. I checked it out that evening and found that it had a PM3 instead of a PM5 like I was expecting. I had very quick response from David on getting it sorted out and they came by the next morning at 8am to exchange the rower for a PM5. Really great customer service and pricing on the new equipment. Hopefully they have SkiErg in stock when I get around to buying one!

Purchased used FT1 functional trainer plus paid to have refurbished and new cable and pulleys. They said process would take approximately 60 day s. During this time I found a new one with all attachments which this one did not have for same price. But after agreeing to a purchase I don t like to go back on my word. I did call and explain what I had found and asked if they would help with attachments which were about $200 dollars. They agreed to do this after getting equipment home and set up I get a call that it s only $200 if store credit otherwise it would only be half. I would just say in caution if not buying new equipment here check around. I would have to say that during the 60 days I had no updates on the process unless I inquired myself. Was so impressed when I first went here and so disappointed afterwards. I will say the product was done very nice and is in like new condition and the guys loading my truck were super nice and helpful.

Tons of equipment but some things are way overpriced & some are spot on. They definitely need to post their prices more so everyone doesn't have to ask "how much? "

Incredibly Rude! We had two installers from your company come in to set up a new Bike. They had a coat and a notebook lying on a recumbent bike beside the bike they were installing, and I had an older female that needed to use the bike. I said out loud that I would get a chair to put the items on , went to get the chair, and I came back to him Throwing his stuff in the floor! It made the member so uncomfortable, she would not use the bike .

If you are looking for top of the line new or used fitness equipment look no further. There are not enough adjectives in the English language to describe how impressed I am with David Preble and the rest of his team at Carolina Fitness Equipment. When I contacted David I was in the market for a previously owned Cybex Arc Trainer, but I was quite skeptical about purchasing used equipment because I had just had a horrible experience with an online dealer which turned out to be disreputable. That experience left me apprehensive about purchasing anything I couldn t see and touch first, but after talking to David I decided to take a chance and work with him on getting a unit. David eased my fears by assuring me that if I could be patient he would find me a diamond in the rough, which is exactly what he did! Shortly after our initial conversation I received a text from David with pictures of a Cybex 750 AT which looked as if it were brand new. As an added bonus this unit was two generations newer than the one I d previously thought of purchasing from the online dealer, and David offered it to me for $500 less than I would ve had to pay for the other one. I swear this seemed too good to be true, but it wasn t. I now have the Cybex, along with a rower I also purchased from Carolina Fitness Equipment, in my home gym, and I couldn t be more pleased. I have fully vetted both pieces of equipment, and they both far surpass any expectations I had. In the two months since I ve had these units I ve already shed 10 pounds and dropped nearly two pant sizes. After having such a horrible experience with the online dealer I am happy to say I couldn t be more pleased with my decision to work with David and his team; their integrity, reliability, and attention to detail have left me with a restored faith in humanity. On a scale of 1-10 I d give them a 20.

I walked in today after one email to them for a price check and received a tour from a happy staff member and the best price I found in the area for bumper plates. I have used VTX plates for years at my office gym and they stand up. Now building a home gym and price and quality matter. They also gave me a good quote on concept 2 rowers. Happy helpful staff, good prices even for the little guy not just commercial gyms. Like this local business!

I purchased a treadmill from Carolina Fitness Equipment and found out the the 6 weeks that it would take to deliver the equipment would not work with my schedule. I called back to cancel the transaction within 3 days and was told that there would be a 20% restocking fee - to restock where? In the warehouse where the treadmill still is. Be aware when doing business with this company that they are not customer focused and will hit you with fees wherever they can - even when they don't make sense. Ask for the return policy and cancellation policy in writing which was not given to me. Although you may think that you are getting a deal, if you are not happy with the equipment or you need to cancel before receiving, you will be assessed fees.

I am the strength coach at a rural 1A school and Mark with CFE treated me like I was the most important account he had. He visited our school multiple times over the past couple of years and when we finally began to work an order out CFE beat our old supplier by a significant amount on their quote and we received our order in under 1 week!!! My administration and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the equipment and the service!!!

Needed my treadmill repaired and so I contacted them. Yes they came out, yes they fixed it (for a time) and yes I paid them. Then the same problem kept occurring, and then I received an invoice for the same amount I paid, only this was 3 months later. I called to complain, but they said they didn't have me in their system. Turns out they cashed my check for more then the amount it was written for and then turned around and sent out an invoice for the same amount. Needless to say I contacted the check fraud department of my bank. Will be reaching out to the better business bureau as well. Kind of odd that a company such as this would cash a check in the first place, rather than deposit it. Hmmm..

An unexpected find, an incredibly big warehouse equipped with any kind of fitness training equipment at competitive pricing and stunning quality. Big brand names and the best quality equipment that will help you attain your fitness goal. The prices vary depending on the brand of the equipment, but there is variety and fair pricing. CFE is a spectacular place for any Training Studio or Gym owner to utilize for equipment needs. They, literally, have everything in stock. If, by some small chance, they don't, David and Lucas go all out to get it for you.
I just opened my Personal Training Studio, Spartan Total Body Transformations, in Concord. ALL of my equipment came from CFE. ONE STOP SHOPPING! The pricing was phenomenal and the customer service is second to none. If you are in need, pay them a visit. Tell them that a Spartan sent you. They'll know who you mean.

we had a great experience with Lucas in selecting a treadmill. Lucas showed us numerous options (outstanding inventory to choose from) within our budget and was extremely knowledgeable of the various machines features, dimensions, power, and functionalities. Purchased a Keiser M3i spin bike. Half the price of a new one and works just a well. I have the same bike at work so we knew what we wanted upon arrival but staff was extremely helpful in choosing the right bike. Would recommend for any fitness purchase.

My wife and I went to Carolina Fitness Equipment only looking for a rack system and ended up buying a full blown garage gym set up. The customer service, pricing, and selection was ALL excellent! Called after hours thinking I'd leave a message for the service department. Nope, Chris Stubbs answers the phone! Instead of telling me to call back because they were closed, he spoke with me for 10 minutes or more troubleshooting the problems I was having with my treadmill. Saved me the cost of a service appointment and helped me make some good decisions. Glad to see service like this still exists in business today.

I went on 04/25/2020 to Carolina Fitness, I drove and hour and half and I was greeted with awful customer service! I was told to wait in my car and they would come get me when ready! My appointment was at 11 and people were going in when I was told to wait. We went back to see what was happening and it seemed like he forgot that we were there ! We had no help. Finally someone came to help us but he wasn t any better, he was rude and stayed on his phone ! And I was told on the phone they would have what we needed, when we got there they were should out I called on 04/24 ! Wouldn t come here again

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I was in the market for a barbell and some bumper plates for a home gym. I went over on a Friday afternoon and met with Lucas. From the very beginning it was a no pressure atmosphere, but I ended buying because they were able to beat online pricing. I got everything that day except a set of 45lb plates (I was told these were ordered and due in soon). A couple weeks went by and I had not heard anything I emailed to check the status and was informed they had accidentally put my order in the 'pick up' file vs the 'ship to' file. It was an honest mistake but I was still a little irritated. However, from the moment is was discovered Lucas and CFE did everything they could to correct it. Long story short the plates were delivered to my house by a staff member Monday afternoon and were waiting on me when I got home. To make it even better Lucas personally dropped a pair of 10 lb plates just to make things better. Beyond great customer service. People like this are few and far between. Will for sure be visiting them again.
