Monaco Washington DC, a Kimpton Hotel Reviews

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Monaco. We were fairly independent guests, so didn't interact much with the staff. However, the facility is beautiful and our room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. The coffee was particularly delicious! The only complaint I have is that it took the valet service nearly a half hour to get our car this morning, making us a bit late for our morning obligations. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Also a very cool building at this particular location, used to be the old general post office building, first all marble building built in Washington DC.

Atypical hotel built into an old repurposed building with a great location. Friendly staff, funky decor, near metro, chinatown, etc.

Very small rooms and okay location (okay because it's a little bit far from WH and NM, otherwise great downtown location). The only reason I stayed here was because of priceline bidding, I got the room for $125 a night. I would never pay $272 a night to stay here ( the regular price that night here). I was so disappointed after the checkin here, who charge you money for first aid kit or even a tooth brush. What a rip off it would have been, thank god I carry my own kit while traveling.

I would've given 5 stars but unfortunately we had a bad experience with one of the ladies on the front desk who was quite rude. Thankfully the manager took care of it, which was great.

Room was a bit dirty when we came in and the bed is a tad uncomfortable but room is very spacious and beautiful. Also if you are on the first floor people can look in from the outside in on your room which makes it very uncomfortable

I did not stay at the Kimpton Hotel I made reservations and they couldn't fulfill them so they relocated me to another hotel which was really nice and they paid for my stay

The meeting room was excellent and the food presentation was great. The hotel itself is beautiful. The only issue I had was with the food, there were no vegan friendly options. Please add more vegan options to your conference menus.

The bathroom is very clean. And as a cold police officer, the hotel was very warm.

Had a great first stay, it s a really nice hotel, made even better with their friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Shoutout to Robert at the front desk for helping out with a request to make sure that my stay was meaningful even when leaving :)

Great atmosphere, and great location. Stayed in a nice suite.

Looks like classical meets tacky day inside the boutique hotel.

Room was nice size for DC with plenty of amenities and clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were a little soft for my liking, but comfortable.
