MoMA Design Store Review

Good place to spend time and keep yourself cool or warm. But don't spend money here, it is stupid. Whatever you want to buy, you get it on Ebay, Amazon or taobao.

Love everything in this store. Elegant and useful, combining good design with every day products. I want them all!!

Another wonderful point within the MOMA, there you can find all kinds of literature about the plastic arts, about design, I recommend visiting this place.

If you don't have compromises on design and quality, this is the place for you.

Very interesting place for gifts or to pick up a unique item. The prices vary from very inexpensive to expensive. There are books, paintings, posters, and more. I like to browse to find items. You could spend at least an hour looking through the wares. But check online before you go. Then you will be ready to make an instant purchase. Check the hours the shop is open before going there.

Lots of cool stuff, but much of it is more than I want to pay. Still, fun to explore.

Seriously nice. Merch is not that expensive and the variety is wide including backpacks and kitchen stuff to poshy jewelry. For a souvenir store it does have a bunch of good stuff.

I am a longtime MOMA supporter and regular customer to its stores and on online. This year I've learned that MOMA has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I ordered holiday gifts on 12/1. Order is still not here. I have spent hours talking to customer service, and in the last conversation I was told that this is my own fault because I didn t buy the 2 day delivery option 3.5 weeks ago even ---though MOMA promises before 3-7 business days to deliver a package. I m owed an apology and about 5 hours of my life back. Where do I get those? And in the meantime, if this package does not show up tomorrow, I am short 6 gifts.

Moma is a little expensive unlike the met which is recommended admission. Make sure you see the museum first before the store. They have lots of really cool items.

Amount of cute things, designs I just needed money and space in my suitcase to buy what I liked. Highly recommended !!!

It has many fun and witty things. It is not the same as the museum gift shop, because there are not so many souvenirs with famous paintings or artists, but very original objects designed with a special purpose

Great if expensive stuff. Perfect place to buy gifts. Everything is beautifully designed. But no posters or books. For that, head to the museum.

I don't usually write negative reviews, but here we go. Don't order here if you need your item sooner than 3 months. I ordered two dishes at the beginning of December as a Christmas present for a family member (3-7 day shipping). They didn't come.
When I called, they said my order was processed normally, but then they never showed. This put me in the awkward position of not having anything to give this family member on Christmas day.
Finally, after Christmas I managed to get in touch with customer service and was told it is backordered to FEBRUARY (three months later), and they never informed me. After I complained, the only restitution I was offered was a refund of the shipping fee.

They have some of the coolest toys and gadgets here.

It s a gift shop. If you want art, it s across the road. Lots of quirky gift items. You pay well over the odds but the advantage is you can buy all your presents in one stop.

Great variety of well designed items, not all are affordable but it's nice to look at them.

A place without equal. Lots of artists' designed objects and original stuff. Also painting reproductions and a great book store. Excellent!

Whenever we go to MOMA, we go to the design store. The place is full of interesting products. The prices are somewhat reasonable for the quality and design.

Never buy from Italy here. They ask for about $ 45 shipping and on arrival you have to pay the courier another 40 in taxes for the Italian state! Better from Amazon.

Lovely and interesting gifts including kitchen items and toys

Charged mine and my partner's cards twice. Took about $80 US and when we tried to get in contact with them no one ever got back to us. Never shop here again.

Do not go if you are expecting a product with the emotion of MoMA like me.
The quality of mugs is not very good.

An extremely original shop, with an infinity of intriguing and surprising objects. Particularly equipped with lamps and games for children, many of which cannot be found elsewhere and very stimulating. A must visit, as an important complement to the nearby museum.
