Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts Review

It wasn't welcoming. Too many unnecessary rules. Towels overdue for replacement. Too much dust in the rooms, we all fell sick. Sheets and pillows smelly.

Would like to thank Mr.davendra from the reception was so professional and helpful,the hotel was busy yet you remained professional and took the extra mile ,very much appreciated .

Stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip. Decent sized room and breakfast buffet. Good service. It's quite easy to get taxis at the hotel lobby. Otherwise there is private taxi but be sure to negotiate on price.

Very good hotel in Dubai in the Jumeirah district. Quality rooms, restaurant and services.

Nice hotel, with great hospitality, service and food. We met a lovely member of staff Yaya who showed my family and me around the hotel grounds on arrival and everytime we met him after that he was always so cheerful and helpful, he really set the tone and high expectations for our stay. I have already recommended this hotel to all my friends and family and hope to return in the near future!!

The only thing I enjoyed with was my companions, rest are all below my expectations for such a trade mark, worst food ever, not much variety at the open buffet, terrace was no way close to a 5 star hotel, very dark and hardly can get room for yourself specially if you have quite a few personnel.

Always good to be here. A bit seasoned but not rusty is this hotel located in cluster A of the Jumeirah Lake Towers. Very convenient location for me and some great hospitality venues in-house but also nearby. Active guests can have a walk or do some jogging around the lake(s). The staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall a good choice for a short-term or long-term stay, a cosy place to be. Check it out if you're not already there!

i got a family suite at 8th floor ...since the 1st day my mini bar fridge not working and I did report 2 times the problem ..the staff did came check it twice but unfortunately nothing happened...
the breakfast are very good...all staff are friendly.

Nice place for hoteliers night. Great deals and ambiance

Quick and great recepcion. Asking for some extras as shave materials they brought it imediately to my room and for charge my mobile I needed one adapter which has delivered very fast. The room was cp,fprtab;e and very nice and the breakfast abundand nad eltite. The personal ery attendant and helpful. Unfortunately I couldn't use all the facilities but I'm sure they are excelent too.

Not the best hotel for the price. The room was small and the bathroom didn't have a shower curtain nor a ventilation fan. Causing the bathroom to always be muggy and humid. The plus side to this hotel was its proximity to the beach, sheikh zayad road and the gym.

All persons were extremly friendly and cooperative, buffet was great.
The only thing could be better are the windows of the room - we heard nearly every outside noise.

Everything was satisfactory except for the swimming pool which was disappointing . It can t be at Movenpick as it s completely below standards . Although, the staff was so kind and helpful.

I personally wasn't keen on the hotel location or the view of building works but the hotel itself was lovely, the room was spacious and very well laid out, breakfast was excellent although maybe a little crowded when busy, staff where friendly and helpful.

Always helpful staff. Not much around the hotel, so Taxi to the malls etc. Is required.

Just passing through visiting IBN Battuta Shopping mall. But hope to visit soon.

Your restaurant was absolutely HORRIBLE. I went for dinner one evening and for a grilled salmon they made me wait 1 hour. Then they served me tough stake fish. Thereafter they came running to my room at night to collect the money, and couldn't not wait till next morning for clearing the bill. Any other hotel would have not charged me anything for the kind of food and the delay they caused and the POOR service. But you grabbed 120AED, that too knocking on my door in the middle of the night. I am never going to recommend this hotel anywhere. In fact will inform all I know to stay away from the hotel. EXTREMELY POOR experience.

I will say that I liked the hotel, because it had very friendly and attentive staff.
I was pleased to get free upgrade to the room.
Room itself was lovely, with large balcony- although there were a few issues. Kettle and iron didn t work, tea and coffee was not replenished every day- When I phoned reception the problem was sorted quickly.
Hotel was clean and smelled nice.

Would not mind to stay here again.

The standard room was not what I expected from a 5-star hotel. A shower in batch is for hotels of 3-stars or less...not for a 5-star hotel. So that was disappointing. The early check-in, food and service was 5-star class!

Good hotel, close to transport links. 15 minutes walk to marina, shops,resturaunts. 20 min by taxi from airport.

We were there for 13 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The staff at Movenpick are very friendly and helpful. We went on a couple tours and again the staff helped us with our quires and guided us in the right direction and are also very knowledgeable. The service was excellent and prompt with friendly staff. I also enjoyed using the gym which is a must for me when staying in a hotel.

The staff is very friendly. Rooms and other premises are clean. However, Room lighting is badly design and difficult to use. There is, also, a problem when I try to walk to the nearby Transit station. The pedestrians rails are not shaded, and some parts you have to walk on sands. There are no dedicated pedestrian crossing stripes in some areas making crossing very dangerous

Overall was very good, however some observations during my stay:

Negative

1. NO TOOTH BRUSH OR TOOTH PASTE WAS PLACED ALREADY; had to request from Room Service
2. INETERNET DEGRADATION (cutting everything including TV, IP Phone, internet) on Saturday night and no communication was done prior or during that.
3. Room dial in to Room services and Dine in services were not accessible directly; always had to leave a message at the front desk to get a call back.

Positive:
1. Allowed me to check in prior to 2 pm as my flight is early and was welcomed by front desk

The hotel facilities are good and accommodated our requirement well. But the review is specifically for the staffs who showed very good customer service. We were extremely satisfied as we conducted our training on one of Movenpick meeting rooms. Ashook, the one who is incharge to assist us are very well-mannered and is the best!

I went to UBK, had a really good pint of Guinness and when I ordered the 2nd pint I was told "the Guinness is finished" what a bunch of jokers.

Wow place. Security, amenities, spacious apartments, artificial lake, jogging track... Greenery

Globally satisfied.

But, one thing I did not appreciate is the gap between the size of the suite as mentioned in the description (and in our booking confirmation) and the real size of the suite...95m2 vs less then 60m2 .

Beautiful sarves very clean, tidy and friendly staff

I booked for 4 people (2 adults & 2 children), with breakfast.

First, we were told that there was no breakfast. I had to show the email to prove it.

After that, I had to pay for extra beds. There was just one bed in the room! I was told I had booked for 3 people!?!? We were 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), so NO, I did not book for 3.

After some discussion, we had all beds, but we had to wait a bit. And this at 2:00 in the morning...

So yes, we were quite unhappy with the hotel. As Swiss guests, we expected more from a "swiss" hotel, rated 5 stars...

I couldn't book the hotel via the site. for some reason the access was blocked. This was also the case if my colleagues tried this.
I takes a long time to check in and check out. This could be done more efficient.
Except this, the hotel is very good: nice rooms, clean bathrooms... and friendly staff.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was always clean and tidy when we returned each day.
