I brought a truckload of window frames to them from Reno, NV it took them 2 hours to unload my trailer and in the mean time they refused to let me use the rest room to relive myself. This is the way you will be treated if you do business with this outfit.
Terrible work environment! Total lack of morality. While working for this company I witnessed employees being bullied by supervisors. The campus has a no smoking rule which is not implemented and even encouraged by management.
If you use this company just know you're on your own when they make a mistake it's your fault even though you would not know it. they don't stand behind anything. My recommendation use another window company. WORST company I have ever worked with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My series 350 windows were made by them back around 2005 and in 2017 I needed replacement parts (sash weep hole covers). They went out of their way to help me. I left with everything I needed.
I have purchased aluminum windows from MI when they were Betterbuilt many years ago. Those windows and several vinyl windows purchased 10 and 12 years ago, all work perfectly to this day. The extra wide slider rollers will last forever. Very solide construction.There is no flimsy trim on the outside like Pella and others. Be sre to measure your RO before ordering. 100% happy.
We just dropped $30k on new MI windows. 1) We order sculptured grids but windows were delivered without 2) MI sent a contracted company out to apply the grids... the guy cut and applied the wrong grids (flat and the thickness of cardboard) to the window. The grids he did apply were cut using a razor knife (shoddy cuts) and over 80% of the grids were cut too small leaving gaps... ie grids don't even meet up to the window edge... we tried to dump the windows back to dealer but they advised MI would handle... meanwhile MI has yet to send anyone out. We reported this a MONTH AGO!
They have changed their warranty and no longer honor the earlier warranties. I would be very wary of trusting them to honor their warranty.
They are professional and timely.. Debbie and Daniel always work with the drivers to get everyone in and out as quick as possible. On the other dock, Jeff and Michelle have always got me taken care of within and hour most days and no later than 2 hours on 1 or 2 days in the 2 years i deliver here m-f.. cant ask for better people or better safety..
they terminated my employment due to leaving work early from getting food poisoning from THEIR OWN break room store . be careful working for these people, supervisors have a high and mighty complex and feel as if they re better than you. never had a bigger waste of time.
My contractor used these windows on our new build. They look great, and solid quality.
We ordered and received a 6' 8"H X10"W patio door not knowing the inside dimension was only 6'3 1/2" high, I was told there is no return and there are no published speciation's for patio doors.it is up to the customer to give them your exact dimensions when ordering. Surprising when we ordered the door no one ever asked or told us the door is actually 6'7"H rough opening X 6 31/2" clear.
Can't wait to see what happens when there is a warranty issue. Most unprofessional people I have worked with.
