Went for a private spa, the spa was dirty. Other people's foot skin flakes in the water. Main pool looked good though and the staff were friendly

It's like a public swimming pool. It is spring fed, with a giant soaking pool kept warm enough to relax your muscles, cool enough to be safe for kids. Hotter adult only tub at far end of the big pool. Nice to go back and forth for a couple hours. They also have a small restaurant here, where you can east just outside the pool area. Plus small kids waiting pool. Highly recommend only if you're already in the area for the excellent bird watching in this region.

Great camp ground but watch out for food getting nicked from the fridges.

Much better than I expected. Very well maintained grounds. We had a clean and modern self-contained chalet overlooking the pool. Friendly staff. The mineral pool was nice and relaxing and not too hot. Seemed to be a good time to be there, as it wasn't crowded so felt very resort like. Food available at establishment next door which was handy. Very pleasant experience and I would happily go again. Only minor issue was with mosquitoes in the room. There was fly spray available, however an insect repeller might be a better option as it was hot and we needed the windows open overnight. Can't be up all night with fly spray. Thank you Miranda Hot Springs for a lovely night.

Spent a pleasant two hours there today. Most enjoyable afternoon in lovely surrounding.

Great outdoor area for family, friends, kids to spend a few hours or a whole day out. Don't expect any luxury just enjoy set up as it is. Changing rooms are like from Victorian age, kitchen or takeway very friendly. Lost in time place when life used to be simply to enjoy it. No rush here. Pools, there are a few including large main one. There is hot one too. Good parking, there is motel on the back of it.

Clean very hospitable and very well laid out. Everything to make our visit really comfortable and pleasent. An amazing photo relax in. Lots of activity for the energetic.

Not as good as it used to be. Place is very dated now. Entry is expensive. Their idea of a "Family Pass" isn't what you would think. Okay for a soak, but don't expect too much.

Awesome place, beautiful pool allot to do with the tennis court, mini golf and much more. A definite go to place in the middle of winter.

Located from an hour's drive away from Auckland, Miranda Hot Springs is a good place to be to wind out and relax. I would personally recommend you to come early before the crowd as the quietness and warmth of the water is outstanding. There is spacious parking, with a few rubbish bins outside. Prices can be checked on their website. The interior of the buildings are old, and have not changed over the years; the lockers are just wooden cabinets with open doors. There are a few picnic tables and grills out the back so it's best to bring some food over. The staff are friendly and the pool was relaxing. I would personally recommend.

A favourite place to visit since childhood. Food at cafe was good and reasonably priced. Entry prices are as is on website. Place was clean and tidy. Good for families.

Top facilities. Stayed in 2 bdrm family unit. Just perfect

Nice hot water but could do better maybe recycle bins or organic waste bins and some gluten free foods for sale could be a start

Good range of temperatures in a single pool. Takeaway service was quick, hot and delicious

Lovely setting but the hot pool needed cleaning, scum present on top of water. Didnt feel clean.

Great midweek deal, pay for 2 nights get the 3rd night free, hot pools, massage therapist on site, pays to pre_book, her massage was amazing, best I have had for long time. Awesome kitchen and facilities

Just checked and stunned to see change of hours. We are frequent users of what could be a great facility. However new hours rule us out 100%. Has been a downward spiral needs change of owners. Would have recommended at anytime over the last 30 years but not any more

Large open hot pool with plenty of room. Facilities generally tidy, though not quite 5 star worthy.

Its a great place to relax! They have private spas here which I highly recommend. They have a hot chips and other nice meals available. They also have bbqs for the public to use and lots of seating areas. The staff were friendly and they are open till reasonably late. I enjoyed my visit

The service is beyond awesome. The atmosphere relaxed and friendly and the facilities extremely nice.

Love this spot. We had our company picnic here yesterday. The facilities are great for groups or just to loo out for a soak.
This was a fantastic place to spend the day socializing, soaking and relaxing with friends family and colleagues.
The camp ground next door is a great spot to extend your visit.

One main pool and one adult pool, as well as private pools. The main pool is fairly basic and warm, starting to get a little run down though. The adult pool is a much hotter temperature and is very nice. The staff were friendly too.

Nice hot water in the pools BUT amenities are very ran down in need of an acute upgrade. Only one ladies shower. Ladies sanitary items on the floor in changing rooms. Crowded so evidently popular with locals but definitely not worth $15pp.

Members of the staff made racist comments and their anti-Muslim sentiments were not welcome! Miranda Hot Pools do better!

Was not impressed with 6pm closing. What happened to 10 pm closing? Wouldnt have paid the cost had they told us they were closing in just over an hour! How rude!!!!

Trip back in time. These pools are fantastic and well worth a visit. Generous portion of fish and chips makes a great post swim meal.

I give it a 3 1/2.
Nice large main pool to swim and relax in with very soft silky water. Easy access with steps all along both sides. The adult pool was lovely and bubbly but a bit hot for the summer ( I'll return in the autumn for that).
Clean, tidy and functional if plain and dated surroundings with loads of seating tables and parking. Whole site is flat if anyone has mobility issues.
Nothing exciting or out of the ordinary here though and the family with 10 and 12 yr olds found it a bit boring before long.
The onsite restaurant/takeaway did VERY nice fish chips and vege burger!

The big pool is beautiful. So are the surroundings & The mineral water feels great. Changing rooms could do with a upgrade. Friendly staff.

Always enjoy a visit. Changing sheds urgently need updating! Also no provision for changing an infant. Feel concerned if Summer opening hours have changed. Love BBQ area!

We always come here during our holidays and it's always weekdays so there are not much people in the hotpools. The staff are friendly and very attentive which sometimes can be irritating. We're like two arms length away from our son for 10 secs and the staff already warned us. Our son swims twice a day in a normal pool and he can swim from one side to another and can even get out the pool by himself.

New set of pool rules since last I went. Grandchildren were soon ready to leave as play in the water is limited by rule forbidding head under water. No food concession operating.

Nice place at a decent price but really needs some shade and a colder pool to cool off in. Nice as it is but would benefit hugely from a bit of renovation.

Lovely place to relax or swim with 3 pools one just for the adult's that over look's the larger pool, great Price's for what they have to offer, big air pillow that gets water on it, awesome fun for the children, nice settings with BBQ area plenty of lawn to lay in the sun or under a shaded tree.

Great service, friendly staff, clean accommodation, awesome pool and other activities. My go to for relax.

Nice cool breeze blowing thru the facilities making it especially pleasant. Great for kids as a stopover if there is queues on the way back to Auckland.

Huge hot pool. A fun bouncy airbag for the kids to play on. BBQ and tables to eat at. Only 45mins out of Auckland. Open till 9pm

Very easy drive plenty of parking huge hot pool very enjoyable in this weather. A great place for picnics during the day and excellent for a relaxed soak in the evening. Open until 9pm.
