Great stop whilst riding back to Auckland. Affordable prices but it s an old pool so don t expect much. Snacks available

Great pools and tuck shop BUT the changing rooms, toilets and showers need urgent makeover, refurbishment, in fact they need to be torn down and news ones built! No lockers for bags etc...

Not crowded, nice and quiet, even good for kids. Big pillow trampoline thingy, nice lifeguards, changing rooms, toilets, shower.

Dreadful place. Needs to shut down and undergo a complete refurb.

First time here, different temperature pools, all look clean. Plenty of storage space and seating area

Not much has changed in years. Still ok tho for a soak.

Pretty basic. Pool was OK, but there's really not much there other than the main pool. It looks like the place hasn't had any investment in it in a very long time.

Have been going to these pools since before I could walk !! ... Auckland misses you please reopen !!

Very good accommodation from basic to luxury, kitchen and laundry facilities for caravan sites and economy accommodation, staff friendly and helpful, other items such as free internet, dining space for communal meals, closeness to external hotel, cafe, shops. Excellent hot water pools. Recommended.

Enchantment in real time F1 surf for a laid-back venue this is it the water is incredible it chases you out after about 20 minutes and you stagger to the exit great Vista and heaps of Magic heaps of past daring do and the geological minded know that there is a fortune in gold in the area it is straight across from Thames which was lousy with gold the line of gold would appear to run towards Miranda and probably under it towards Pukekohe

One of the oldest natural spa in Auckland, the administration is really cheap plus no time limit.

They also have locker for your important items.

The most important part this play is they have very good fish and chips. I think the combo is $16 if I am right. It s really yum yum yum.

Not a fancy place but its wonderful place for the family trip.

Love these pools. Would be great for them to improve the bathrooms a little though as they are so dated and yuck.

The entry was quite high for what was offered. The showers only had water from the springs, with a slight smell of sulfur. It was still relaxing.

Fantastic food. You can pop in for lunch or a coffee too without having to pay for pool access... and it's a nice place for families to hang out without the crowds you get at other pools.

Great pools for relaxing. BBQs can do with some utensils since you have to pay to use them.

Great place for family and friends to catch up, pay to use the onsite BBQs and have a good ol kiwi summers day

My family really love spending time at the hotpool especially on cold days an nights really lovely they could put doors on the showers thou that wud be nice,I tell everybody about it an can't wait for it to reopen

Average. Looking tired. Kids giant pillow was not up and hot food closed despite busy season.

Miranda has been open for many years & is still the best place to take the family. BBQ's all around the area for use. Soak up the Hot Springs for an amazing relaxtion.

Aucklanders... Great family destination. Affordable, relaxing, plenty for kids to do, every amenity you can think of. Spotless, well run.

Super dirty. The system- kids play on the muddy playground beside and jump in to the pool & only one shower booth -- cannot be dirty anymore.

Always the place to be just to relax with good company. If there wasn't any reception in the area it would be even more better!

This is advertised as nz's largest outdoor spring pool priced at $15 for a day pass. It also has private spas for $16 per 1/2 hr and an adult pool and sauna area in the pool area. The prices are reasonable and the space is clean and tidy. Its not far from a main road and worth a visit

Lovely and warm. Serves food and has lockers or open boxes for your stuff. We'll worth a visit

Loved it had a bbq for my birthday here. Great spot for a family and friends catch up

Pleasant environment, but when traveling a distance for the day it is an expensive entrant fee for one person, also I found that if I stayed the required time the fee covers, I think 3 hours, it would have been to late to continue my journey, adding a meal cost on top of entrant fee makes for a costly hour or so

Enjoyable afternoon, just remember lots of water needs to be taken. Pools very warm and you look for fluid. But very good shop for food and drink on site also.

Very nice relaxing place. Just make sure it's cold weather when you go there and on a week day and not a weekend.

Place slightly run down, but the main pool is highly enjoyable

Natural mineral and refreshing. But need better shower system in the changing room.

I always enjoy a visit here. Motorbike friendly too which is a huge plus for me.

They were awesome allowing us a refund when our Autistic son refused to swim

Apartfrom the slightly steep entrance fee ($14 per person) this is quite a nice spot. The facilities are simple but clean. The main pool is enormous and looks like a swimming pool. There is a smaller, hotter pool too. There are no natural or natural-looking pools here (except if you stay at the camp) but it's a pleasant stop on the way to or from Auckland.

Excellent hot pools, great place to take a family or just by yourself. Reasonably priced with great facilities. Has a big main hot pool, a smaller very hot adults pool, and private spas. Has plenty of picnic area next to pools as well, perfect for a birthday party or family get together.

Far enough away to feel like out of Auckland and a nice place to relax

Miranda Hot pools are a great kiwi tradition for us. Great relaxing stop on the way back to Auckland. Yes it's basically a great big heated swimming pool, but it's simple, straightforward and hopefully will never change

It's good for all ages. The water is quite hot so it's better to go cool weather.
