Nice day out, clean and tidy. No family change rooms. Hot food vendor was closed.

Very clean and a pleasure to soak in the pools. Very helpful staff. Look forward to staying again.

Hot pools that are hot. Great for a family outing. It is advised not to immerse your head, because these pools are unchlorinated so there is a risk of some infections. Please read the signs and take care.

Could use a tidy up, I m sure it s planed. Customer service was minimal. Would not recommend at the moment (feb 2019)

Friendly staff and the pools are clean and sounding areas are very neat and tidy.

Great service from Max who owns the food bar . Next time you pop by dnt forget to try their fish n chips o burger.

Facility needs a makeover ... has not changed in 25+ years!
Pool needs painting, changing rooms are cold, dark, dingy, old, water dripping from ceiling.
The place could use a huge amount of plant boxes and shrubs around the pool area.

A great place it has warm hot and very hot pools as part of the entry fee there are bbq's to use. There are also private pools. Great in the evening or during the week for quiet times. there is no time limit except in the private pools.

Bees, bees, bees everywhere. This place has potential but suffers from neglect. Fast food outlet is good. Pool is big and seems mostly clean. Changing rooms and bathrooms are in need of repairs.

Place to chill and get hot when weather is cold. Love the big balloon!

Lovely temperature of the water even in winter, smooth mineral water pool in a old fashion style environment and quite cheep!

Definitely a place for adults to relax, a couple of small cooler pools for the young ones and a good sized air bubble for kids to have a safe tussle on. Plenty of room for a picnic. Main pool probably a little too hot for me, but I don't really like hot bath so not a surprise. Good safe fun for everyone, health and safety signs remind you to keep your head out of the water.

It is what it is. Right for us but if you are after waterslides its not for you.

Cool place to stay, gets busy during school holidays.

WORST hot spring I've ever been to out of over 150.

First of all, what a rip off. $30 for a 30 minute soak!
Secondly, the private room REEKED of dead fish guts.
Thirdly, the smell of fried fish and chips permeates the soaking area.
Lastly, the water REEKED of chlorine / bleach.

Save your money, there are MUCH better soaks in NZ!

In need of some maintenance. Dressing rooms especially.

Loved it was a resnabile price with a great picnic area with bbq. A great weekend trip for the family

Great place to relax & just soak in the natural hot pools

The water in the main pool was too hot to swim in. When we went to ask if it could be turned down the staff were extremely rude. Was so hot that every person in the place were in the kids pools.
We were told cold water wasn't added to the pools and it was straight thermal water. Guessing they don't know what they are doing there anymore!! Shame since it used to be a favourite place of mine.
Also their "lifeguards" were inside a building never to be seen around the pools. There's big signs up that come across rather rude. The care factor and love has definitely been lost from Miranda over the years.
Won't be returning any time in the near future.

Nice clean campsite with pool, nice people, like everywhere in New Zealand

Very relaxing, and not too busy on a Friday afternoon. The main pool was a nice temperature and the adult pool was perfect.

Really nice campground. Thought it was a bit expensive. Would be a big improvement to have smooth tarseal from entrance as far as office. Was camped in the dog area there and found it pretty noisy.

Great place for a nice warm bath in the hot water springs

Firstly. Very clean. Second. Everything is organized, very professional. We were 3 familes that camped together.
Loved the little cars for kids. Our kids weren't seen, just popped in to eat. Liked the fact that 10 pm it got quiet, and at 11 pm all was relatively quiet. My friend had 2 toddlers that played the whole day with bigger kids and drove on the bikes.
Bikes are 5 dollars per 30 min. In my opinion it could be a bit cheaper. But then again there were some times the kids were given some free rides. The bikes are a winner.
Only one warm pool, which was fine, but a second cold pool would have been awesome.

It was amazing and the jumping trampoline thing was sooo fun i guarantee, the pool was so warm and the changing rooms are good too it was a great experience i went for a school trip on 21/11/2018

This place holds a lot of memories for me. Been coming here since I was a young child. A good place to come and unwind in the hot waters or a fun day out with family & friends.

Sauna, spa room, public bbqs, large picnic area, playground, tuck shop, jumping pillow (out of order when we went today)

This place is an oldie but a goodie. Prob could do with a bit of an update at some point but regardless...I love it here and so does my family.

Awsome relaxing atmosphere, great day out with family reasonable prices.
The food here is a must do....

Great day out for the whole family. Pools are a bit dated but serve their purpose well. Plenty for the kids including a giant bouncy castle-type area. BBQs and picnic tables are available.

My family of 12 went there yesterday and last night we were all throwing up because of the water.
NEVER GOING AGAIN!

We use to spend alot of family days here loved it.Now I have my own whanau..we plan starting anew adventure with our kids the awesome dawson way

Basic thermal pool, good for a little soak, particularity nice on a cold rainy day.
Food a bit expensive but to be expected for the convenience.
Suggest bringing flip flops to use in changing room.

Update your website hours!!!! Drove with my small child an hour to get here for a night time swim arrived at 5.45pm only to be told your closing at 6pm! Zero star for Miranda.

This beautiful Hot springs is definately the place to be to unwind, entertain and family friendly. Thermal pool with lots of play space for families and kiddies. Its a fair drive but it is soooo worth the gas. The prices are meh ok It is pretty expensive for private pools however, if you enjoy just relaxing and mingling with ethnic families you will love being there
