Miranda Hot Springs Review

Very bad experience. Dirty place, not maintained well at all. Would never recommend to anyone.

Lovely place I've been going to this pool since I was a baby. Good times and great memories. Fun for the whole family. Really yummy food and kind staff members.

Great place to chill out, not too far out from the city.
Admission is reasonably priced and the staff are super friendly.

We like it. Around $42 for a family of five - it is not bad value.

Busy day but seemed heaps of room in the pool. Changing rooms could do with a bit of modernising

Worest customer service ever!!!
They were saying that the private pool is not available at the moment, and they and cannot give notice once it s ready, no reservation . I really don t understand , we drive all the way down here, they could not even gives a Single notice once the private pool is done????? I m kinda suspect that if they really wanna make the business run .

Hot pool with thermal water. The pool is very big. There is also a hot bath and a children's bath but it is very old and you really need to do some work to restore everything, swimming pools and sanitary facilities. The place is lost. But it's a good break before Auckland.

The environment was bad but .. (changing room, shower, etc.) Not bad to relax in the hot spring water. Not strongly recommended

usually love this place but 2 out of last 3 times when I've tried to relax in the private spa I've alternately had the experience ruined by lawn mowers next door or a yapping dog bound to a van. and I'm sorry but"its a separate business" is a bullshit cop out lazy excuse. maybe you can't do something directly but you can do SOMEthing.

unless your customers experience isn't of any value to YOUR business?? was on the verge of making this a regular thing but your disinterested apathetic staff are making me think twice. seriously disappointing.

Always love going here lovely staff clean changing room and toilets amazing food always get a milkshake everytime I go so thick and creamy also they have amazing facilities for family gatherings coin bbqs and lots of picnic areas and space to kick the ball around have done my daughters birthday here a couple of times

The private spa is really nice. Public pool is good too and the food there is good and cheap. The changing area need a bit of upgrade though

Stayed at the campground really enjoyed it had a family get together

very clean and well kept. great food too. The Hawaiian Burger was huge and the kids loved the 5 x pancakes with bacon and maple syrup $10 was great value.

Large warm hot spring water filled swimming pool. Very relaxing low key atmosphere, even with lots of people around. Feels like healing water. Changing and shower facilities really need an upgrade, otherwise have given five stars.

Clean and a good place to either cook your own BBQ or buy food there. The swim is great too! Entry fee a little steep.

A big area great for families and gatherings but state of water wasnt great sorry...

Nothing special it needs lots of maintenance and all paint coming off also in spa lots of mold

Toilets smells horrible and very dirty

I have been to many times, it is a good place for the whole family or a single individual to relax and have a bath and a barbecue. Children can also play on the lawn. If you are hungry, you can buy cold drinks or hot food there. Very worth going

Clean pools, friendly staff, lots of space for family's to bbq/picnic/play. Adults spa/sauna pool. Didnt need accommodation but that is attached via a holiday park.

I love coming here it's not to expanse and it's always nice, doesn't get to crowded as well

Been here twice and still amazed how it made me feel like I got a better skin now. LOL.

Pools are wonderful on any day although facilities can do with a spruce up.

The hot pools had nice staff. There were three pools one kids on an adults hot pool and a general pool the temperatures was ok with the adults being the hottest but they do need a cold pool. There is a kids play area and there is a blow up pillow which gave us much enjoyment. There is good seating areas and grass areas to sit as well but some of that grass could be a new cold pool yes it is a hot pools but you still need somewhere to cool off. The place needs some do ups and could do with more shade, there is only shade on the adults pool and at the eating areas. The prices were reasonable and if we're out here again I would visit.

A huge pool with nice stairs to sit on. Ok facilities, but not in too fancy condition anymore.

We are staying at the campground next door and was recommended the Fish & Chips at the pools. Best takeaways the three of us have had in a while. Staff really friendly. Will come again. Cheers.

Specialised traveling with pet parks. Wonderful set up. Private for campers hot pool

Lovely nice big thermal pool to soak in the natural heat. Kids have a bouncy balloon to bounce on. There is also Private Saunas, and spa to hire. The place is clean and there is sufficient tables for putting gear or have a picnic.

Affordable family vacation spot, a stones throw from Auckland. Accommodation quality about par with price, especially the challets. Some of which have built in hot tubs fed with spring water. Eat out options are very limited.

A brilliant bit of Kiwi coastal culture. Also visit nearby Kaiaua - you won't be disappointed.

Update your website please, we checked the listed closing time of 9pm before we left home to find you have closed at 6pm. What a waste of time and petrol.

Dirty, over priced and staff don't even leave their office. Went I a holiday and there was a surcharge. Never seen that outside of hospo before.

Great place for hot pools closer to South Auckland, bathrooms need revamping but other than that the bbq area and pools and kids area and shop are good

Wonderful place to relax. The cafe on site is surprisingly delicious and amazing. It can also be delivered to nearby areas.

The pools are lovely but it really needs some investment into the facilities like the changing and toilet areas. Nice new fenced area by the playground and giant cushion.

It has all camping needs. Toilets, warm showers, fridge and freezers, electricity, TV room, various activities for adults and kids and more.

I love Miranda Hot Pools it reminds me of my childhood. It's so old skool, I feel very relaxed sitting on the steps people watching, eating, drinking & am sad when I have to leave to make the trek back to Auckland. Why not give it a try & visit it's stepping back to a time when life was much simpler - I love visiting Miranda Hot Pools

Needs a tidy, but the waters hot so that's a bonus.

Best hot springs around. Been here since I was a baby.

Lovely place great amenities. Just one thing to I suppose is the pool was very brown on Monday and quite strong of sulphur and wasn't very warm. We think should have separate pool just for soaking in especially for us older folk haha. But otherwise a lovely place to stay as we have been quite a few times.

1 big Hot (spring) pool, one spa hotter than the big pool, and one small cold pool. Mainly for kids. Playground also!

The facilities are pretty basic, and a little bit run down, but it's a good place to stop for a couple hours to have a nice soak in the mineral pools.
