Lots of great things to do and see. Check the website for enrichment schedules, penguin feedings, shark feedings, story time. Membership is worth it for us even though we moved farther away.

My family and I love going to the zoo! They have a working farm where my son loves playing with the goats and the chickens! They also have a play area where the children not only climb and slide, but also explore a wetland area!

Great zoo. I love that some is indoors and some out. I also love that intelligent animals are not on display: no elephants, no higher primates. I also love the way the outdoor enclosures feel so expansive.

I'm glad you've reopened in a way that feels safer and manageable for families. We secured the earliest time and felt comfortable during our whole visit. Everyone we saw was wearing masks and it was easy to remain distant from others. We saw a usual plethora of unique animals and enjoyed finally getting out of the house. Thanks, MN Zoo!

We love this zoo! Go when it's a bit cooler or near the end of the day when the aminals are a bit more playful. Then you really get to see them! Nice clean zoo where animals seem very happy. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

It was a nice Zoo, seen them feed the fish , seen animals that Milwaukee Wis Zoo and Brookfield Zoo ,IL dont have. They also have an Imax theater. There were playing Jurassic Park World, which we disnt see. See the animals were closer than other zoos.If your collecting the gold medallions , they dont have them. There is a section Discovery Bay that you can touch some non meat eating sharks.

It was a really fun time, despite the cold weather and snow on the ground. It was lots of fun to pet the stingrays and little sharks. I went with my sister and her young kids, they had a blast. I am excited to come back for the farm babies. If you plan on going multiple times, or have kids, I'd recommend getting a membership, as it seems to save quite a bit of money.
It's definitely worth going once, even as a solo adult.
Got to see the tigers almost mate, that was hilarious, mostly due to all the peoples' reactions.

The best zoo in the Twin Cities area, there are plenty of animals to see in beautiful and thoughtfully laid out exhibits, they are always adding new areas and expanding/updating their large and diverse collection of animals.

We are MN Zoo Membership holders, this is our 3rd year and don't plan to let it lapse any time soon! The MN Zoo is a great place for all ages! The accessibility to see so many different animals and habitats is soo impressive! We have options to come and go with our membership that the have been days we'll run in for a quick animal show and snack, or to play in the water fountains. Some days we pack a cooler and snacks and spend the entire day! The staff and volunteers are amazing, the zoo is soo well taken care of, and extreamly family/child friendly!

Has many exhibits encludeing discovey bay full of beautiful sea life and dazzeling habitats. Also see the tropics trail full of many different animals ,from boares to birds. It even has shows so you can see the amazing skills of the animal. Has a restaurant with food, though it may be a bit pricey, the tickets to the zoo are about $18 it kinda evens out. Its a totally fun way to spend the afternoon with the family. It's also a good place to take a class feild trip, it's fun and educational so your students are sure to have a good time. Most of the animals are inside so you can still go during the winter. You can also go to the movies, there is a movie theater on the side of the building.

There is more than enough to do here between the multiple trails, playgrounds, shows, and food. Fun tip: if you want to see the wolves howl, go on the Minnesota Trail when the city is testing their sirens. The wolves howl with them every time.

Love this zoo, not just animals here either. There are two big playgrounds, a sprinkler area and a merry go round. I also love you can walk or ride a tractor/horse pull out to a farm and feed the goats. Also, the summer exhibits are great, one year it was dinosaurs then is was giant bugs! You can bring your own food or the eat in the cafeteria which has good food surprisingly. I have had a membership for the last 5 years.

Grew up going to this zoo. So many memories. So clean! I now fly back to Minnesota in the summer and bring my kids. A couple weeks ago we went and my kids fed kangaroos. Very cool experience. Only downside is that tickets are pricey. Best zoo I have been to though and I have lived in 3 states.

This is by far one of the best zoo's I've ever been to. The animals and staff are super friendly. I always enjoyed seeing the cuttlefish, the turtles and many other animls whenever I go here it feels like a home for them not a zoo. Their environment's are kept clean and the animals are very well fed. The staff have great knowledge on the animals and you can see how near and dear the staff are held in the animals hearts. Everytime I went here it was to learn about animal behavior and the environment. The zoo does a very good job about teaching people about animals and how much they make an impact on us. It's a great place to take children the prices aren't too bad the shows are very nice and the animals are from many corners of the world.

Always happy to bring the family to the zoo. Bought the annual family pass which was very reasonably priced and included parking. We have gone a few times now this year and have realized that you need to get there early as you won't have time to see all the exhibits before they close if you doing. It is amazing how large of a place it is and there is so much to see. Would recommend to all.

We went to the adult night at the Minnesota Zoo and it was such a wondrous experience. I'd prefer to attend in the summer months when more exhibits are open and we can walk around outside, but we were still able to see the tropical exhibits and walk the Minnesota trail exhibit. Plus there was a 2 month old sloth! A baby sloth! The alligators were plenty creepy and I touched some sharks - NBD. Actually, it was a totally big deal! Sadly, my wingspan is smaller than a trumpeter swan, but I'll still give the zoo and the adult night out 5/5 stars. Loved it!

The zoo is a great place to spend a day with family/friends. It is fun to watch kids eyes as they see the animals. Also the zoo has the Imax Theater with the biggest screen. We come and see many movies here.

A good experience but lacking alot of animals and exhibits I would have expected. The bears were the most interesting for me and my kiddo loved being able to touch a shark. The food court is nice and overall everything is clean and well kept.
