Got to see many animals and I got to buy collectibles. But the covid regulations were ridiculous and places were blocked off that didnt make any sense. I had an amazing time with my family though.

We have had a membership for a few years now. My daughter is the primary on the account so any arult can bring her. We love it here. We probably come once a month. There is plenty to see indoors in the winter too! My daughter loves the bird show!!

Unfortunately, not having been impressed at our last visit many years ago was disappointing and appears to have changed little. Although I did notice looking at the 2018 annual report they did actually break even. The premier attraction of the IMAX long gone did not help with my opinion changing. The reason we visited yesterday was for the "Circus of the heart" event first time being held here and it was welcome change from previous venues.

We have a blast every time we go to the zoo. There is so much fun stuff to do. We go at least once a week if not more. There are so many places for young ones to play one could probably work from the zoo while their kid/s play.

For the kids and the kid at heart. For our long northern winters the indoor trail is a wonderful treasure for all the enjoy and the warmer months bring outdoor activities and summer camps your kids will love.

It's always nice to come here and look around and get some exercise. Didnt enjoy the last time we went as it was during a special weekend and it was super busy. If you do choose to go and if you dont like crowds, try going right when they open or before closing time. Also dont go during special events, it gets super busy and you won't get to see much as there is a lot of rude people that push their way through crowds with the strollers.

One of my favorite places to go - with or without children! There are options for animals to see whether the weather is beautiful or freezing. A membership is definitely worth the price if you plan to visit more than once a year.

I feel that the price you have to pay to get into this zoo is not worth the amount/variety of animals they have. I would much rather go to como zoo. It is free and has a better variety of animals.

Always love this zoo! It's clear every time I come here that the zoo keepers love their jobs and the animals. The animals are well taken care of and the shows are fun to go to. The bird show especially is fun for an upclose experience. Also one of the last places I know not that sell dip n' dots.

Today was our first time visiting the Minnesota Zoo. We moved here recently and were looking for a good family outing. The zoo has so much to do and see! Our two kids had a great time and we will definitely be back.

It had been years since I had been to the mn zoo and it just seemed like its not worth the price without the dolphins and monorail. The enclosures are beautiful and big which means long walks between animals that you may or may not be able to see. I'll save my $ for sparky :)

Not sure how it is the rest of the year, but I went in December and there were not very many people there. I was able to take my time and watch the animals. There are a lot of inside exhibits, so you do not have to be outside the whole time. Price is about average for a zoo - I paid about $50 for 2 adults, and that is with a parking fee.

Expect to spend quite a bit of time here, as the zoo is fairly big and spaced out. I enjoyed the variety of animals that they had and was able to watch some "enrichment" type activities with some of the animals. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed!

You have to pay for parking in their giant private lot. So not only are you paying an arm and a leg to get in the zoo, you have to pay an arm and a leg for parking as well. Not very easy taking the kiddos to have fun anymore. Its not like we're in a parking ramp downtown St Paul

Things have improved a lot. There is a yard where you can walk up to the kangaroos. The only thing between you and the kangaroos is a long piece of dead wood. The Wells Fargo Barn has some baby animals left to pet. You can even walk into the goat pen and feed them!! There is a Zoo employee there in case the goats get a little rough.

This is by far the most beautiful zoo I have ever visited. The sheer number of different species, as well as the beauty of the habitats is amazing. Although there were plenty of people there, the zoo is large enough to make it feel as if you are not crowded in. The information at each of the exhibits was very helpful, allowing readers to know things that were both important and interesting. I also enjoyed reading about the zoo's conservation efforts, as there are a number of endangered species housed at the zoo. If you are a lover of zoos, this one is a must.
