Food and drinks were great. We went a little late...
Food and drinks were great. We went a little later than the normal dinner rush time and were seated immediately. Our food and drinks came quickly and our waitress was sweet and talkative!

Miller's pub is amazing! It has the most amazing food and drink. They have draft on tap and their sandwiches are awesome. I had the Reuben and my wife had the lamb, both were so very good. It is a little dark but that is the atmosphere and goes along with the whole chicago pub style. I would recommend this to anyone, just because the food is amazing. And it is in the heart of Chicago which makes it convenient to pop in and have some food and then get back to having fun!
Great food, family owned business, Excellent prices for great dining experience
This place is storied and busy. Cops eat here. Tourists. Business people. It s usually pretty busy. Food is safe. Did not try the steak. Good bar.
Awesome food, really good beer selection, and very nice staff. Baseball on TV is always welcome (even if it's the cubs, yuck!) and it was so close to the hotel which was nice. Hopefully I'll be able to visit again soon!
LOVED their pot-roast and lamb chops they have. A little crowded of a place but ill do for a great lunch. BTW one of the greeters was very rude; he just threw our menus on the table and that was it, no welcome or anything
An old fashioned bar that was perfect for a quick beer while exploring the city.
Smashing burgers, great desserts, awesome service and a sexy fish and chips.
Mixed review on the service. One server was great the other not so. The drinks were good at least.
Great lunch and after-work spot. Service is quick and friendly, beer list is long, and menu is super good.
I couldn't say I was there to decorate the place for the holidays .. but I do here they have great breakfast ...
I love this place, great place to chill and have fun. The food is amazing. Busy almost all the time but a jolly ride. The beer collection is different and in other words horribly good enjoy have fun.
Nothing about this place is great, it's an overpriced icon
Great service, food, atmosphere, and prices. I'll definitely go there again when I come back to Chicago.
Fun times with family and friends and the food and service was amazing.
Old-school steakhouse atmosphere with classical paintings, wooden walls and dim lighting. Good variety of entrees including salads, sandwiches and barbecue. Reuben sandwich was good, and friends all enjoyed their burgers. Service was underwhelming and drink prices were not great.
We started with spinach artichoke dip and it was amazing! Then I ordered roasted leg of lamb, my wife ordered steak sandwich, my friend ordered ribs and his wife ordered mushroom truffle burger we also ordered tiarmasu. I tried everything and I was awestruck with the flavour. Everything was cooked to perfection! The steak sandwich and the lamb both were so tender they practically melted in your mouth!! The ribs were tender and not dry even though they had very little fat. The tiarmasu had an amazing coffee flavour and was so soft and fluffy but yet creamy... Just like it should be!! Our server was Keith and he added a great character to the experience that made the whole evening even more entertaining!
Atmosphere. Food (lamb is so fine!). And a 4 a.m liquor license. What more could you want?
This restaurant on Wabash Street has been here forever. If you want fancy and cutting edge look elsewhere. If you want good food and good drinks at reasonable prices then check this place out.
A lot of people go here for business as you can get a great steak and some good scotch.
Great atmosphere and food selection. A bit pricey but worth it if you're looking to treat someone to a more casual dinner.
Great atmosphere and exceptional service! Step back in time and relax.
Wow!? Really!? I know nothing of the history but it obviously has some. Was it great once? My observation was it is where really tired bartenders go to become slower. 5 minutes to ring one drink and put receipt in glass per customer. 10 minutes to get the bartender to notice you at the bar to get a drink. Had first drink in hand (20 mins) and another customer sits next to us, turns to his buddy says, "man, I wanted to hit that bartender, what an a**"
Is history driving the reputation or the place power brokers hang? I have no idea but I won't be stopping by anytime soon.
The beer selection is pretty great but the food is just average. I've been here a few times and they've literally never had the chicken pot pie left so that's always disappointing
This place was great! The staff was very kind and the food arrived quickly. We were seated pretty much on arrival, and even when busy, they kept our cups full.
One of the oldest pub with a loyal following, very old school with great atmosphere and service. The food is just ok.
Fun place. I love the decor. Drinks are very good too!
BEST BLOODY MARY i've had. Always a place to sit and conversation to be had. This is a great establishment in the heart of the city, fairly priced, and always continues to satisfy.
Great classic Chicago place. This place harkens back to when downtown was filled with neighborhood people. Michigan Ave was for suburban Amtrack commuters, and Wabash Ave was for newspapermen, local politicians, commodities exchange traders, Jewelers, and labor Union leaders. Great bar. Excellent kitchen. Fantastic staff. A Chicago jewel .
Mike at the bar is the best. Great food drink, atmosphere!
My waiter Keith was very friendly and helpful with his food suggestions, great atmosphere and conveniently near the Adams/Wabash el station
The food didn t taste anything, the service was not great either. Cosy old pub Feeling tho
Recommended by the theater security, this was a beautiful bar with lots of options to drink and eat. Busy, yet waitstaff were on top of it. Had a gluten free hummus plate that was loaded with carrots, celery, olives, hot picked peppers and a large thick slice of cheese. Perfect for a guilt free late snack.
Very great quality food and atmosphere. The rotating draft list is incredible!
Always favorite grill when downtown for shopping or cultural activities
Miller's Pub is an old time, dark dirty restaurant with faded autographed photos on the walls. The servers are a fitting bunch, many of them career professionals who were great to small talk with. The menu was tasty traditional american but not all together behind the times. Well, maybe it is behind the times enough with some from scratch prepared options that it is back en vogue. Prices are reasonable, too.
Waitstaff are nice, cooks and management leave something to be desired. This used to be my go-to spot for a nice relaxed steak dinner, but the last two times we've gone there, the food quality has been severely lacking. The first time was about a year ago. I went there with my daughter, we ordered the ribeye, medium rare, pretty much the most common way to order a steak. What arrived was black on the outside and cold raw on the inside, and though we really tried, it was just too bitter to eat. It really was a crime against steak, but when we bought up, the manager was dismissive (and if I'm honest, rude) , saying "well, we do have to cook it...", as though no one in the history of cooking steak had ever managed to make one md rare without burning it. The experience was enough to put me off them for quite some time (I had been going once or twice a month previously).
This Sunday (Super Bowl) we decided to give them another chance. The food seemed better, and the waitstaff were as nice and attentive as ever, but my younger daughter just wasn't eating. We had hers boxed up and when we got it home, I figured out why. In the restaurant we hadn't been able to see it because of the dim lighting, but there was some fabric that had been wrapped around the bone and up the side of the steak (presumably to protect it in storage?) and it hadn't been removed before it was grilled (picture included). I may give them another chance someday, but not any time soon.
For similar cost, taste, and ambiance, with none of the trouble, take yourself a block or so south on Wabash to The Exchequer. A far better experience overall.
Very good food a place more sport and casual, unfortunately the service is not very good
Totally more than adequate food. Outstanding service. Old school vibe. Glad it was open after my cab ride in from ORD. Give the creamy garlic dressing a try.
Great institution downtown. Love frequenting it. Huge menu and they do pretty much all of it superbly well. Draft beers are rotated often, and are of a huge variety. Their cocktails are also fantastic. The best option this end of downtown.
Miller's pub very cozy place with so tasty food and beer! My favorite beer here is Mango Blue Moon and favorite food it is fried calamari and barbecue chicken wings. Waiters are also very nice. We often have here meeting with friends. have great time here
Great food and drinks at reasonable cost in the loop
Delicious spin dip and quick friendly service. A little noisy
Great beer choices, but the glass size and value charged are quite different from the American standard. Small glass and high valot.
Mmmmmm!! Enjoyed 2 appetizers! Ribs for 2 and sausage, onion and pepper with garlic bread! Soooo delicious!! Don't miss this iconic Chicago eatery!
Service was terrible and food came out to us warm. Waiter was nowhere to be found and had to ask for another beer instead if being asked. Would not eat here again.
A little dark inside, but excellent food beer and service for a fair price.
Really good food! I am very lucky about steak and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and the optional blue cheese crust was so tasty. If you like blue cheese, don't miss their salad dressing. The best I have ever had! Great service the first night (Colin was exceptional) and good service the second.
Centrally located bar in the loop, great for after work drinks
Great atmosphere. Great selection of craft beers. We got there early - 4pm - and got a table. By the time we left - 5.15 - there were lengthy queues. Even so at 4pm the place was crowded. And very noisy. Despite this the service was brisk and cheerful. Unfortunately the food didn't match up. Some great tastes but also some poor bits. Good pub food just don't expect too much.
Overall though an experience that is not to be missed.
Nice, old fashioned pub. Good food and drinks. Can get crowded.
Classic place in the Loop just by jeweler's row. Go for great cocktails and surefire consistently delicious food.
Very traditional old school pub with good food. Expect to wait on service when it's busy.
Super fast and old school environment. I ordered a 4-alarm burger with Jalapenos. It was the perfect amount of heat to a burger.
My husband ordered Greek salad and cleared his plate and he said it was great!
This place is great. Food is awesome. Beer selection was vast. Plus, they had Zombie Dust. Service was fast as hell. Felt like they knew I was coming.
Good pub albeit VERY busy throughout the day. Had the ribs platter with mashed potatoes and onions rings at the bar with a Negrino. Natalie the Bartender was fantastic!
Very disappointed it's not the Miller's pub that I know, the entrees were great the white fish, lamb chops, salmon; the sides were awful, no bake potato offered, mashed potatoes were very generic, hash browns were god-awful, the salad that they serve you with the entree is all Iceberg and they use all the yellow portion of the iceberg, we forgot to order the dressing on the side and half the bowl was filled with dressing it was terrible there were only two cherry tomatoes and a couple croutons, the most terrible salad I'd say I ever had, shame on you chef
If you have a empty stomach this is the best place! Very good food. Very tasty! Server was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is trendy. This is my new favorite place to eat.
Something slow service and ribs are not as good as they say
I wasn't impressed with my Cobb salad, but enjoyed the atmosphere.
A Chicago institution! Even with their recent renovation, it still feels like you're stepping back in time, and that's what you want with a place like Miller's. Great food and drink menus.
Open till 3AM on Sunday nights? That's reason enough for me to give this place 4 stars. The staff was friendly and quick. All I drink is Red Bull vodkas so I can't say much about their drink selection In the financial district this seems to be the only place you can consistently rely on to be open.
Convenient location. Great food. OK prices. Poor beer selection. Sarcastic, yet friendly and funny staff.
