I am writing this review because I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this company for the reason that I have had a debt with them and I made multiple contact with them over the phone providing my phone number email and address verifying my account multiple multiple times over and over I ve called the company so many times throughout the duration of my debt to make payment arrangements I even went as far as paying weekly instead of monthly in my arrangements to pay off sooner on several occasions i was put through torture each time I called, I got people on the phone who were rude and unprofessional arguing back with me talking back to me, although I had shared with them my frustration that not every call was documented supposedly!!!! i reached out to them today due to my credit report been dinged stating I was late on a payment with Midland credit and that is not true it s false information as I was paying them weekly not monthly, and the update is not correct because I paid off this company and they have not removed it from my credit report they have not submitted my payment information so it s still reflecting as negative it s still reflecting that I owe them money and it s reflecting now that I am past due and owe a payment so my credit score dropped. I explain to the gentleman that I just talk to he was not understanding nor was he helpful and he told me I needed to wait he was in no way trying to help me submit a positive report to the credit agency and I asked them to remove the late payment issue on my credit report from their company but he said he could not help me... So my advice if you re seeking to pay off a debt get an attorney or go another route don t directly deal with them because you ll get the runaround and have constant issues that they could care less about your credit score or your negative debt on your report and they are not willing to help you in no way. But that s my opinion and my experience I m just sharing with you all what I had to go through an indoor and still till this day.

The associate who helped me was fine. I just was not able to resolve the issue I had, even after her helping me. I was trying to pay off a balance and the system would not process my payment. Even after getting help from an associate, I was still unable to process a payment. I would really just like to get this debt taken care of.

I made a phone call today trying to arrange a payment over a debt that I have with them. After being in the phone for over 20 minutes the manager went around with many different questions that were not related with my issue. Bottom line they denied my issue.

I had numerous issues with the website itself not loading payment option pages through Google Chrome, and even after switching to Microsoft Edge, it errored out during payment processing until I switched to entering my bank information. After that, payment went through and was verified by the account manager through the website chat service. All in all, it wasn't a painful experience and I'm glad to have paid off my debt.

A legacy credit one credit card account assigned to midland for collections. CC company renewed annual fee and incurred monthly late fees. I want to clear from my credit but when spoke to Midland I got the nastiest person I have ever dealt with in my life. Barely spoke English- call center from India for sure. I asked for correct spelling of company which he refused to give for over 10 minutes. Constantly interrupted my responses, derogatory comments, unbelievably mean. I was quite shocked a person would treat others this way. I lost my job due to COVID-19 and no more stimulus or unemployment currently.I asked for his name so I could pray for him. Got a glimpse of what Hell must be like. Consumer beware and don t let them ruin your day. I m only using the website now to clear this up.

Michael was very helpful and allowed me to set up a payment arrangement within my means. Paying off debt is never fun, but Midland makes it manageable and their online portal makes it easy to set something up. I highly prefer Midland to some of the other debt collection agencies I have worked with.

Served court papers for a client and what a run around money was taken from his bank account illegally and they have so many address's that are either the address does'nt exist or they have moved what a complete monkey race. Very sneaky business I guess theted so many different address's I guess there always on the run after they steal your money and then they move to another location.

I keep getting calls at random times from 3am -7am almost daily. The calls on my caller ID say it's from Virginia but when I asked guy where he was located he told me Florida lol then I asked again then he admitted he was in India. Hey MCM instead of outsourcing your jobs maybe you can help out unemployed people with jobs in america first.

So my experience with MCM was overall good I had a discount for my debt that I owed, and In times like this it was very relieving. In my opinion they did a good job answering my questions didn t have any issues. I love the options they have with the discounts and payment plan. I know some people will have a different experience than me. And I know that some collection company aren t very helpful but I think MCM really do there best to help you out. So thank you MCM. They made me a fair deal and were honestly very easy to work with either to pay off immediately or to pay off over time without even thinking about it. I know cause they have had two of my accounts from my younger days. Customer service in the online chat was fantastic!

with such a busier schedule these days, its always nice to be able to chat online and get things done efficiently, and that is how i felt chatting about my situation and getting a payment plan going. it was easy and quick, im glad i am on my way to paying off my debt.

The actual customer service was great the finding out I had a debt was not and the constant harassing via phone and email and threatening letter was not. This review is only for the online chat agent Lisa L that assisted me they were fast and efficient. Everything else about the company has been nightmare for me as this was a debt that had been resolved and yet midland picked it up.

I have contacted this company and should not be surprised. Their web site states they will work with the client to create a workable payment plan for various income levels. NOT. I made multiple counter offers to their office to no avail. I've been told they will contact me and have not. The ONLY thing they have done is file more paperwork with the courts. They send redacted papers "proving" their ownership of debt. This company is a joke.

This company is illegally harassing people with false credit debt claims. If you work for this company and are under the impression they are legit, it is time for you to contact the BBB. If you work here and are AWARE of your wrongdoings, you will, in time, pay the price for your actions. You will be charged with fraud, harassment, illegal threats, and will serve time in prison.
To those who have been harassed; contact local law enforcement to file for fraud and harassment against this company. They are using false accounts in your name to make financial gain. They are professional scammers. Protect yourself. Call your banks to alert them of this fraudulent company. Have them change your account numbers and other personal banking numbers, just in case the scammers try to withdraw from your bank. Please be safe. Companies like this are everywhere, and do have physical buildings. Report them if you are able to.

Was being harassed and sued by Midland which goes by other names as well. They have had Class Action Suits against them and had to pay out Millions in damages. I contacted the Attorney Generals office in my State and they backed off only after I had hired an Attorney and fought it. It cost me for an Attorney but the Attorney's Office had a big impact on the outcome. Fight them by asking for a Class Action Suit to be filed again against them and file a claim with your Attorney Generals Office.

As of april 10, 2020 at 5:45 pm, I offered to make a minimum payment of $50.00 a month starting in.june of 2020 due to the covid 19 pandemic and was told, that payment wasn't enough to keep there from being a lawsuit.
I then asked to speak with a manager and his response was, "there isnt one available as I work from home".
I said alright well give me corporates number so I can get this resolved today.
His response was, I don't think anyone is there.
I then said, that's okay, if no one is there to take my call then I can leave them a message, I know how to do that.
He then said, well I don't have corporates number but can give you a different number that may lead you back here or somewhere else.
I thanked him for his time and told him I would look the number up myself and ended the call.
Note: My husband and I were more than willing to start sending I payments but because it wasn't what they were asking for, I was threatened with a lawsuit because he was not going to stop the collection.
I'm sorry, but any time someone tells me they dont have a supervisor/manager available or the phone numbers requested and then threaten me with a lawsuit, they barked up the wrong tree and obviously don't know my background or knowledge on these kinds of things.
Third party or not, if the credit card wants their money, then I suggest they accept what money they can get and not threaten the consumer with such things.
My husband has been a consumer with this particular credit card company for the past 20 years, and always in good standings until he fell ill last year.
This threat is uncalled for and so was the sentiment of our payments.

This is the most unprofessional establishment Ive ever encountered not only do they use call centers based in India the individuals working in those centers were rude and told half truths with regards to payment options like the pamphlet they sent out stating five options for paying off debt that I received did not expire until June 30th today is the 18th and the associate tried to tell me it was invalid or expired because it was a month old even though it was well within the month I asked for a supervisor who was just as if not more unprofessional than his employee PAYPAL this is who you're doing business with speaks more about you then them cheaping out on customer service just so you can save a buck while extorting Americans who are already crippled by an pandemic shame on you.

First of all this companies employees specially the Manager need to know how to talk with a unknown person and also they need to respect when they are talking to someone. Without my authorization I don t know how they got my personal information and which some are correct and some are wrong . The lady who introduced me that she was one of their manager( name: Nancy B) and start verbally harassing me with my private information. At first there was a guy was harassing me then he transfer me to a unknown lady and she introduced me she was one of their manager and then she start harassing me with her collected information which are mostly wrong .
I think the owner of this company need to stop giving their services if their employees provide those kind of behavior to the clients.
