Worst customer services I've ever received.

Worst customer services I've ever received.
I called to book the reservation a couple of weeks ago. They said I could stay the entire stay for $40, all I had to do was listen to a presentation.
Alright, so we get to the park with our travel trailer and another utility trailer, because we were moving. I was told it was fine to park the utility trailer in the overflow parking. Great. We unhook. Next morning comes and of course it was not ok to park the utility trailer there. So, we have to hook it back up and move.
Then comes time to listen to the presentation. The staff wants us to leave our four year old son with the "Activity Directors" which is just a couple of teenaged boys, for 90 minutes. Seriously?! We are not the type of parents to leave our son like that.
We opt out of the presentation and decide to pay full price. They charge our card an extra $120 WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION.
The Better Business Bureau will be hearing from us next.

This resort is located in the perfect area! All the momuments, parks, Sturgis, and Deadwood are all within an hour or less! Very clean, ample rv parking, a petting zoo next door, and a small gift/supply store. We made a reservation on the fly and they had a great pull through site in the new area of the park. Showers are clean, pool and spa are wonderful. Because we were there at the end of the season, they had to winterize pool and jacuzzi. But we were able to use it for 4 out if 6 days so keep that in mind.Very friendly and professional. Very secure. We saw a lot of wild life in the park including white tail deer, wild turkey, different types of birds, chipmunks. Pet friendly environment with enclosed run area and poop bags through out the park available to pick up after your pet. Security gate is coded for after hours entry. Located and visible off the hiway but very quiet. Full hook ups for 30/50amp. Bring your road toys (biker friendly), water sport toys or winter sport toys. There is so much to see and experience so stay as long as you possibly can. We stayed a week and it was barely enough! We will be back in Spring 2017 and will definately stay here again!

Stayed there for six days. $60 was Coast to Coast cost. We stayed in the older back section. Spot was large enough for 5th wheel and truck without disconnecting. No bugs, pet friendly, pool, miniature golf, dog park. Will be back.

Invited us for a marketing scheme with 1 out of 4 chance to win a side by side ATV, or so we were told. Only prize that actually existed was a cheap tablet with next to no memory. Seemed like a "rope-a-dope" invitation and asked us for almost $10k

If you are going there to see their presentation, know that it is one milloin percent worth it. There's no way that it cannot be worth it. If you are going there to stay overnight, you picked a very nice place.

Staff are very helpful and nice. They do have a mini golf area, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. This RV park it within a short traveling distance to most of the Black Hills tourist sites.

We were very happy with our stay here. We were guests of a member and were treated as if we were members! We stayed in a lodge for 2 nights and were able to park our trailer- U-haul- in an RV stall that we could see from the cabin. The cabin was spacious and fit my husband and I and our 4 kids. The grounds were impeccable and staff friendly and helpful! It was a refreshing visit and loved every minute of the serene atmosphere!

We spent 3 days and 2 nights here. They have a lot of sites to choose from but it is a resort so you have to be a member or be invited by a member to be able to stay here. They have a pool, hot tube, showers, laundry, mini golf, cabins, and even covered wagon cabins (with ac?). They have plenty to keep people busy during the day and it seems like a fairly quiet place. The pull through sites, which is what we were in, have no shade what so ever but the tent camping area has mostly shade.

For a resort, the sites were far too close together for minimal privacy, no cable TV, minimal Internet service (sometimes non-existance), and low water pressure. For the cost of staying here you would expect more....

This is a very nice campground. The only negative piece was that the sewer hookup was too far uphill for us to use. Otherwise we love this campground. The hot tub was the cleanest one we have seen in a campground and the pool was very nice. The people were extremely friendly and I was shocked to see an earlier review saying that the lady at the front desk was rude. I found her very pleasant, she even told us which part we shouldn't go to because we were travelling with a young child.

Very nice campground! We had a pull through site, but they have back in sites as well. Some have shade and some are in the open. We had a nice large site, and although it was out in the open it was large and level, as most appeared to be. I would highly recommend! Close to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and many other interesting things to do!

We really enjoyed our week long stay over the 4th of July. The only bad part was our cabins were not next to one another with our group. Definitely will stay again. Also the funny part was on our last night there the door to our cabin the lock broke so part of our group was inside and part were outside. The maintenance people were right there to take care of the situation.

Friendly staff, not high pressure for the membership purchase. Facilities nice, and clean. We were in a cement pull through with a 40 ft toyhauler.

Only two issues with our experience. One was the Wi-Fi weak. The main one was out of the $50 gift card it was only worth $47 apparently due to fees charged to use it. This should have been shared initially with us.

Would stay there again

Check-in was easy and staff was friendly. Good location for many attractions, but comes with a cost. There are many campgrounds to choose from in the area, and after staying here, we would probably pick another park. While checking in, we were provided a list of rules, but discovered this campground does little to enforce said rules. Very large park, which includes cabins and tent areas. Campground has large pet play area, mini golf course, and holds events for its guests. Wifi was weak and not reliable. Wifi only allows so many users, so we were unable to use it until other campers left the park. We complained to office a couple times, but the problem continued. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Campground off highway 16, but we never heard traffic within the park. Gas station is less that 1 mile from the campground, which includes diesel. Roads throughout the park are wide and easy for big rigs. Super Walmart just 20 mins, away. Bear Country drive, Reptile Garden and Fort Hays just down the street. While here we also visited Keystone, Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. Our price included a discount for attending a required membership meeting, and this is where our experience changed. A lady conducting the meeting made a couple scary comments; we were not able to leave the building to discuss or think about their membership, or the price goes up but the most awful comment was made about the comment card we received during check-in. This lady states these comment cards are not considered for evaluation for non-members. It seems this campground only cares about members and if you are a non-member you will be ignored.

The wood is expensive for the amount you get, but the gas station down the road also has some if you're roughing it. The camp is clean and the showers are great. Quick drive to My. Rushmore and Custer State Park if you're exploring.

The cabins, location, and service are great. They definitely need more pictures online of the sites and cabins. Even my local state parks have that. The Rushmore Shadows also needs flat areas or pads for tents. Hammock camping is the only option, unless you want to sleep on a hill.

Big RV park with nice level sites and full hookups. Grassy areas for walking your dogs, playground and nice public areas. Kind of expensive but we were there during Bike Week in Sturgis, so everything was at a premium.

Our plans changed and we needed to find another RV park. This was recommended and called to make a reservation. The person who answered the phone confirmed they had space for the nights we wanted and would put me through to reservations. They were busy, so left a message with my name, our dates and my phone number. Never had a call back, so found somewhere else. There is little point taking messages with a promise to call back if you don't... So we went elsewhere

We stayed for four nights in August 2019. Location was wonderful to see the local sites about Rushmore and Crazyhorse. We came in at the end of the Sturgis motorcycle rally so it was quite crowded. The grounds were clean and maintained and the laundry was well-equipped. The only real problem I had was the mosquitoes that were hovering in the grass they loved biting me. I am not sure of their prices as we offered a great discount if we attended a 90minute presentation.

Park seems well maintained and clean for the price it should be. My experience was less then pleasant. I made reservations 10 months ago requested a certain site and put down a 250 dollar deposit. On arrival was told my requested site was full. The reservation showed my request, however I was told first come first serve? I was next shown a map of the park and given a choice of...2... sites both in the new area next to the freeway! So for 500 dollars I was given a site I didn t want or lose 250 dollar deposit. Pretty neat! Next I went to the site and found it so slanted the jacks on my coach could not level the unit even with the front wheels almost off the ground! Just for a side bar my coach is a new high end 40 ft rig. So for 500 dollars I got a site next to the freeway, so slanted I can t even empty my holding tanks completely. The time reserving was wasted the 250 dollar deposit was spent to get what was left when we pulled in. Even a nice place doesn t help when you ve been railroaded!

W had a wonderful 10 day stay. The big rig sites are big, flat and roomy. The campground was clean, quiet, and beautiful. Well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful for our first trip out. They even would text you with alerts such as the ice cream truck. The location was perfect to visit all the National Parks here. The drive to the grocery was about 5 minutes. The only negative was the absolutely horrible WiFi. Thank god out Total Wireless worked well there. It s on,y a few miles from Mt. Rushmore. It s very dog friendly with a nice dog park, dog walk and free poop bags. Pricing was reasonable.

We were pleasantly surprised. This resort was clean. We stayed 10 days in pull through site. Concrete pad with grass. Only draw back was the pool was torn apart for repair. Lots of cabins, camp sites, outdoor activities. Loved it. The only good resort that honored our Coast to Coast membership. Very happy with this stay.

Arrived at Park Tuesday October 1st at 8:30 a.m. Park walk through area is closed due to renovating no signs to warn that this is so until we got right to the gate to do the walk through View. Still had to pay $10 to park the monument itself was fogged in unable to view

We did t stay here long but we had a great time. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit and the playground. Like most campgrounds, the WiFi wasn t great and only seemed to work near the office-laundry area. Very nice campground. Very thankful for the Good Sam and Military discount.
