People do not return your calls After you buy a brand new motor from them I suggest do not buy anything from them

If other impatient people would of bothered to get to know the salesman, perhaps you would of understood him. He is head mechanic for consult, he is owner, he doesn't have the sales expertise as some "slick" salespeople. but he is smart, has a heart of gold. A very understanding man.
Julie his better half is excellent in her position as sales staff, book keeper and knowledge in "hands on" operation. She has a working knowledge of engines, repair and restore.
So if any of you have a review fo these people, try and get to know them first. By the way, I did buy a NEW fishing Pontoon boat thru Tom and he explained everything and if he missed anything, Julie was sure to pick up the slack. Tom and Julie make fishing on the Wolf more enjoyable and we feel we can count on them anytime we need something. Thank You, Salute and all that other good stuff!

Purchased my boat from Mid State in early August. It was a pretty flawless transaction. Tom is excellent as well as the rest of his team (sorry I forgot their names or I would name them) Tom quickly responded to all my questions about the boat and was very understanding that I was not a boating pro.

The day of the sale his team was ready with all the paperwork and it was completed in a timely manner. The staff then gave me a very detailed walk through of the boat and how to operate it.

I have reached out to the business a few times since the purchase with a few questions and I get answers right away. Once while I was on the lake with a question! Great people that are honest and know what they re doing. I highly recommend this business and I will be using them for all my boating needs.

Took my pontoon in and I told him NOT to touch my water pump and he changed it and charge me for it also my motor was a brand new motor with only 45 hours on it and they changed the spark plugs I feel they over charged me over 500.00 and there wasn t anything wrong with the motor. It was brought in for a 3 year check up.
After about 30 minutes the owner showed up and gave me $100.00 off the bill but I am looking now for a new and honest dealer like I had.

Love the boat and the motor but we were here from the time they opened until after they closed just to buy a 15 foot duck boat.

Honest honest honest. First and foremost, this place is honest. Brought my boat in for a start but won t run condition. They knew it sat for three years and could have told me the carbs needed rebuilding and so on. Nope. Primer ball was bad, so the carbs were loaded with oil. They cleaned everything and replaced the ball and had me on my way. Now for the biggest part of the honesty. I m from out of state and on vacation. That s a golden ticket for a dishonest shop. They know they got ya! Not here. Did what was needed at a VERY fair price. Take your stuff here without fear.

Great service. Blew my lower unit on vacation at the chain of lakes and they had a new one installed in 3 days. Saved our vacation.

We have been a customer for over a year now and have had great service from them. They are a smaller shop, we bought and store our boat with them. They have great customer service as far as they will answer all your questions and concerns. They were recommended to us and we have been happy with them. We have not experienced bad customer service.

Horrible customer service. Talked to Tom in morning and then drove 1.5 hours one way to look at a new starcraft. When we arrived no other customers were at the store, the service desk person showed us where Tom was, he stated in a rude voice without even looking at us that my wife and I would have to wait He sat playing on his computer...we waited 15 minutes and walked out the door. We were prepared to put a down payment on a new boat if we liked it...but decided to walk out. Tom didn't even bother trying to stop us. Wouldn't spend a dime in this place much less the 40 grand on the boat we wanted to look at!

Absolutely the best. Wouldn't go to any other place. They really take the time to tell you anything and everything you want or need to know. Just A Great Bunch!

I'm working with tom right now and he's been very good to deal with, friendly and fast to respont to my emails for quotes and financial information. On 2 separate occasions He has gladly taken the time to show my wife and I a pontoon that we like after closing time. So I have not experienced the poor service that the other reviewers desribe.
