No overnight parking! Was escorted to where you can park by the Mayor ("Sorry you had to get out so late Mayor. Maybe this post will help...")
To Park Overnight: If your leaving Deli Star turn left (east) on 15. In a few blocks you'll cross Kaskaskia River. TAKE THE SECOND RIGHT past the river (Terminal Access Rd.). It's a "S road" with one barn on it (which you'll see right away) and a cul-de-sac at the end where you'll be able to turn around. Per the Mayor, Your allowed to park ANYWHERE on that road. We turned around and parked in the road kinda close to where the barn is located. Not one person used that road while we where there. Hope this helps. (Btw, saw three deer while out there...if you like that kinda thing. We do.)
Not the most driver friendly place to deliver. Obstacles. In many forms
I arrived 1.5 hours, before my appointment time. Was told to wait for company driver to pull out, (only one dock, to load, out of). Truck pulled out, then had to back, right back in. Took over 1.5 hours to finish that truck. Then another driver, pulled in behind me, and he was 45 mins late, for his appointment. Told me, that I would have to wait for them to load him first. They have to go by appointment times, guy said. Sooooo, 3.75 hours later, I finally got my 14 pallets. Jeez.
