I have dealt this firm on two occasions and both were poor to very poor experiences . The first, I was head-hunt by L.D., but then upon meeting the arrogant client, it was apparent that there was no fit. Clearly the recruiter didn't spec the job or frame what their client's expected.
The first case should have warned me off, but the second has!
I approached L.D early this year, wanting to change the direction in my accounting career. Upon meeting them there was lots of talk from L.D's rep, but no action or follow-up. These two experiences have reinforced my low opinion of the accounting recruitment sector. My Moto is: recruiters are sharks who know little and care even less.

Fine when talking over the phone but poor communication post initial conversation-often chasing a response that wasn't always forthcoming. Candidates not always a good fit for role, almost was a "near enough" attitude.

Can't recommend Lesley from Lawson Delaney enough. Always professional and courteous. She has continuously followed things up, followed up by updates to candiates in a timely manner (which is important for anyone seeking a new position)

Without a shadow of doubt, the best company I have worked for!

For starters, I would not trust the 5-star ratings below (e.g. Barry Vienet). If you search him up he has an obvious conflict of interest seeing how he was a former director of Lawson Delaney.

I've heard good things about the firm, but my experience has been anything but. Constantly called by their consultants but they never return my messages or calls, or bother following up on our meetings. It makes me feel as though they just use you, and when they think they can't get anything more, they just quietly ghost you. Absolutely no regard for their client's needs at all.

For a recruitment agency it's quite bizarre how they treat their clients. I can only recommend taking your business elsewhere for recruiting needs.
