If I could put zero stars I would. Not only is it over a 100.00 dollars plus parking to get in. They dont inform you that most of the places are closed. We took that money and basically through it in the trash!!! I will never recommend this place to anyone. Wait until you go to the west coast and go to the Florida aquarium so much better and alot cheaper. They wont even give half refund! Place is a joke. When asked to speak with guest services becuease we were standing there in front of the booth waiting over 10 minutes the welcome girl says oh they must have just went somewhere I dont know when they will be back. I can see why this place was empty!

A very beautiful place. There are many shows during the day that you can watch. You can even meet dolphins, seals and penguins. We chose the Dolphin Odyssey, which was a great experience. Unfortunately there is no good food in the Seaqarium that costs quite a lot.

One of the best parts of our trip to Miami. It allows you to get up close to so many amazing animals. The staff was friendly and informative. Good food at their different food locations as well.

Worst experience we have ever had. Staff is totally inappropriate. 117$ is far too much for these 5 Seaquarium that are more than too small. Weve been to the sealion show and the staff totally wet us. Even our underwear is wet. It wasn the sealions doing that - i would have found this funny but if a staff says it to you - you shouldnt have sit there we found it more than inappropriate. A Refund would have been appropriate... would no one recommend visiting this place. Visiting this place means supporting sad and mean conditions for these animals. Weve been to different places different zoos with seaquariums that treat these animals with more respect and better living conditions. Worst place should be forbitten!

This was a fun experience for me and my wife. The staff was friendly and really cared about the animals. The facilities look well maintained and you can see they are doing improvements. Will definitely go again next we vacation in the area.

I took my son and spent the extra $10 per person for the summer special. Wish I didn't spend the extra. It is a nice place but no in door area to cool off, a lot is under construction and closed. They take souvenir photos when you come in the Gates, ours couldn't be found when we were leaving. Parking is $10 Cash ONLY, that's fine just happy I had cash on me that day. I normally don't. It's a pretty small place for the price.

Great Aquarium to visit. Didn't expect much before arriving but we really enjoyed our time here. Location is small which turns out to be a plus. Easy to walk and see all it has to offer without exhausting yourself in the heat of Miami. They offer shows throughout the day and at great time intervals. Able to watch a show and quickly stroll over to the next one.

Today I decided to give this place a try. I've noticed it dozens of times previously, always wanted to go inside, but never quite did until now. First, the service was impeccable. And all of their staff are professionals. Highly recommend this coffee shop to all! Thanks a lot!

Just went there this weekend, the place is very very small and when they have shows they are extremely over crowed because of the small facilities. And it's way over priced for tickets and food! Will not be going again.

I was surprised to have liked this place given the mixture of reviews. I have to agree the entry price does seem quite steep for the limited space and time. We were in and out, having seen everything, within probably 45 minutes max. We could have gone back in throughout the day to see some of their feedings or talks, but it's kind of a one time through thing.

It looked very outdated and some of the exhibits seemed too tiny for the animals they were housing. There was a turtle stuck under water in some tree roots and the penguins looked unkempt and sad. They have all these signs that say certified humane but I'm wondering what the guidelines are to get that certification. I am an animal lover and do not like to see animals in captivity unless they are housed appropriately and the goal is conservation and education. We went to the "whale show" and I am hoping those whales and dolphins do not live in the tiny pool in which they were being displayed. Maybe I'm being too critical but I expected the $50 charge to get in would be doing more for the animals. I would not recommend going there

My kids enjoyed the experience of seeing the killer whale and dolphin shows and the sea lion shows. As an adult...it was horrifying. The manatees are in a round tank smaller than a walmart pool they can only spin in a circle in. The enclosures the animals are in are covered in rust and the place has not been well taken care of. The cost of admission is obsurd for the 3 things you can do without additionally paying $150+ a piece to interact with the animals.

They have really cool local species. The portion of the exhibit closed because of the hurricane is ridiculous since hurricane was 3 month ago. The fish are not properly labeled and info provided is not great. If you go see a show it's nice if you want to learn not so much.

Our visit was great! The seaquarium is a great spot. My best friend got me tickets to the Dolphin Encounter attraction for my birthday. Kylie W was the trainer that thought us all about dolphins and made the experience great with her enthusiasm and great energy. A dream that came true!

Dolphin Odyssey was great

Dolphin Odyssey was great
only the photographer was overpriced
(sure I dont buy such poor pictures for such a price)

THE TRAINER:
blonde young woman (I do not know her name) was very nice. in comparison to the other staff she has joy and is not in a bad mood
thanks to her.

when we were in the park, the park was really empty all day (20-30 persons). probably more staff than guests.
- parking price is okaaaaay. but they should offer it for free.
- enters overpriced

all claw machines are manipulated.
you will need 4-6 hours to see all, all shows,...

the pool of the animals are too small. some very small animals have a huge pool. But the whale a small pool compared to its size.

This place is a dump, and the living conditions of the animals are awful. Their tanks are tiny and crowded. They're also over-fed and under-exercised causing them to be extremely overweight compared to their wild counterparts. The shows try to educate the public (which I appreciate) but the facts are skewed or completely wrong. The prices are also outrageous for the lack of exhibits available. Almost $40 for kids and $50 for adults. My family and I were tired of the place after about 30 minutes. The food was also extremely overpriced, and poor quality. Overall, it was a crappy money trap. Save your time and dollars, and don't waste them on this place.

Miami seaquarium is a very nice place in America and it is located in Miami. It is a fabulous place and many types of shows are shown there. When I went there, I saw a huge getting balanced on a platform as it is in the photo we sent it was a fantastic place and I loved it really as much as I can it was fabulous and was great to balance just a just on a smooth and very small flat form. It was a very beautiful place when I went there and it was very awesome. I loved it as much as I can and I'm still loving it here

I haven't been to this establishment in over 20 years but I was very pleasantly surprised. They have modernized it and upgraded it and the shows are absolutely spectacular. We had a great afternoon with a 10 year old and a 6 year old that were both very happy campers.

A great aquarium to view animals that you may never get to see with your own eyes. Clean facility that has events forbkids that are super fun. Raises awareness for recycling and the effects of human footprints on the animal kingdom.

Listen to the people with the signs outside. I don't usually give such a low rating, but not only was half the seaquarium closed, it was dirty and I don't even want to talk about how small and barren the tanks are for the sealife. Honestly, I was surprised to see the volume of traffic.

Went as a chaperonne on a field trip, there were a lot of people and many schools attending. The sharks and alligators were no where to be found. The canopy where we were put for lunch break was covered in pigeon excrement. Some of the other schools chaperones were drinking in glass bottles what seemed like alcohol. After the dolphin and orca show, another school chaperone looked like she had lost a kid, almost grabbing one from my group.

If I post 0 stars I would I paid $220.00 to see absolutely nothing.
The grounds are disgusting
The shows are absolutely boring
Other then the shows there is nothing to see 'oh' maybe the sleeping crocodile.

I left in middle of the day with all my kids and I needed to spend time and money to rent a boat for them in order to keep them busy.

Miami Seaquarium has a lot of potential. The facilities are very out-dated and the exhibits need to be expanded to make the animals more comfortable. Not the best aquarium. If you're visiting Florida, SeaWorld is much better.

This is a great place to bring your family, especially the young ones. If your budget allows you, I'd recommend doing the dolphin odyssey experience. You will swim with the dolphins, feed them, and learn new information about these mammals.

We went to see killer whale show. Which was cool. Other than that there is not much to do or see. Exhibition is very modest, and definitely does not live up to expectations, knowing how rich is local wildlife.

Awful- skip this place.

Awful- skip this place.
We went based on their humane certification but left feeling guilty and disappointed.

The displays are dirty and sad. The whale tank and the manatee tank are tiny- how is it legal to keep them in such tiny pools????
We did the dolphin interaction package and it was just ok. For that price though, we expected more. We signed up for specific time and ended up going in about an hour late. Staff seemed to not care at all and there were no signs to let you know what to do. It seemed like no one was directing the show.
Facilities are dated, shows are dated and they just just gut the whole place. The reef aquarium was so dirty you couldn t really see the fish.
Parking is $10usd, entrance is $50 or more like $150 for dolphin interaction and pictures a whooping 80 per person (70 for the online download).

Seaquarium is in desperate need of renovations. The animal shows are ok, but it can hardly cover up for the fact that the park is nowhere near current standards. If you have been to any of the more modern parks, whether its Monterey, CA or Copenhagen, DK than Miami will be a major disappointment. On the plus side there are not that many people around so it is quiet and you can take your time to enjoy the few shows on the schedule.
