Honestly everything was great, all shows were amazing, the tanks tho need alot alot of love so do the penguins,I know it cost alot of $ to up this park from feeding all the animals, training them and staff but again the tanks are so dirty I cant really see clearly

Animals put down the best show possible but the place needs a make up. The buildings and infrastructure is all crumbling. The restaurants don't open the whole day and those which are open have long queue to get some junk food The narration during the shows can make the shows more engaging and appealing to the audience.

Today me and my girlfriend went to the seaquarium for the dolphin encounter and it was amazing, the staff was great and very knowledgeable, all was great until the end when they offered us the images they took of us, they were charging $101.00 each so we would have to pay $202.00 for our image's which is absurd especially after the dolphin experience for both of us is over $400.00, this ruined my experience for what was going to be an unforgettable day, talk about price gouging, shame on you Miami Seaquarium.

Honestly I was kind of bummed because I spent almost hundred dollars for my family to come here and we ran out of stuff to do in like 2 hours. The flamingoes and touch pools were cool, it just would have been nice if there had been more to see or do.

The animals are beautiful and amazing!
Dolphins, Manatees, Orcas, they have them all there. You can walk the place in a couple of hours, but if you want to see the shows plan to be there for 4 hours more or less. They have shows all day. I recommend the Orca one and the one with the Flipper Dolphins, very entertaining.
Pricing tips:
They have a promotion going on for 2020: buy a full-price one-day ticket, get an annual pass for 2020.
From 2/29 to 3/29, 2020, teachers and staff of Public Schools go in for free, just show your school employee ID.
I am only giving the place 4 stars and not 5 because they take photos of you at the entrance if the park, and sale them to you at the exit, but they are incredibly expensive!!! The packages have 3 photos and are about $50. You can get a code to simply download, at a cost of $23.
And yes, the encounters are overpriced, so I cannot tell you about that.

Out of time

Out of time
This place is out of time on so many levels.
The space for Orcas is really not sufficient. I felt pity for the 8 jailed pinguins. I have seem much better aquariums, which are really about the animals. This place is only for the show, which also are a disappointment. >50% time talking, a few jumps and over (Orca, Flippershow). When I was a kid myself it might have been fine 35 years back, but now with my own kids I felt sorry for the animals.
It is run down. Buildings, playground, everything has seen better times and needs a major make-over. It looks and feel like a place built in the 80s and not invested ever since. It feels like the guys are squeezing out the last bit of money they can before sending the whole thing into bankruptcy.
Worst thing is the crazy pricing. 48 USD plus tax per adult is far off the value. Over 150 bucks for a family of 4. Worst rip-off is the 10bucks extra for parking!! How else can you get there!?
Sorry for the harsh words, but I really felt betrayed and ripped off.

This is the biggest waste of money. The park is so small. The exhibits are weak. they charge $50 for each Pearson child or adult. no discount for late admissions. Don't waste your money. Go to lion country safari.

Other than the 20 min dolphin shows there is very little to see. The price is really too high. Other aquariums like the Mote is less than half the price and has more. The turtles looked sad and sick, as did a deer, which is strange to see in the Sandy beach area withstanding heat!

Disgusting. This place is terrible. Lolita the orca is held in a bath tub that is old too small and in need or repair. 47 years she's been there. The performance was filled with lies about orcas. Too expensive for this terrible attraction.

My wife and I, we enjoyed a lot. Natural lemonade so good. Can't say the same about pizza. Dolphin, Sea lion and Whale shows beautiful. Manatees are beautiful. I am originally from DR, Caribbean, and there is no more manatees to see there, due to unscrupulous people killing them. It is so good, and give me hope, to see that a group of people are taking care of this precious animals.

I visit aquariums almost everywhere I go and wasn t disappointed in Miami. Its made more as a zoo than aquarium so its a lot of walking but you can make a day out of it. They feature sealion shows, dolphin shows and several other entertainment options or you can just walk around and enjoy the exhibits. For extra charge you can do Dolphin or SeaLion encounter

Lolita is kept in a tiny tank and treated horribly, She has been isolated for over 40 years! What does this teach our children about humanity? Are orcas created for our amusement? I may never see a orca free in the wild but knowing they are there is enough for me. Why do we have to see a captive animal to feel a connection? It makes no sense to me.

Dolphin experience was fun! Paid quite a bit of money to participate and they didn't provide one picture. They tried to sell high priced photos to us afterwards. Park food was reasonably priced. The remainder of the park was boring.

I enjoyed taking my toddler to experience and learn about marine life animals unfortunately there was very few to see. The shows were entertaining but over all it lacks not only animals but staff excitement. The experience could've been better living in Miami I would've love to see more of local marine life. And customers service at excellency, we did not experience anyone rude to us but the staff was just very dry no memorable interaction.

I lived for 7 years in Miami and this is not what I remember from the times I lived here.Facilities look old and dirty. Very rude staff, they barely talk to you and when they do is in a very authoritative way.l was buying a toy for.my daughter and the girl at the register was being harassed for another coworker who was flirting with her, awful customer service. The only positive thing is the shows and even those have lost a lot of quality, specially the killer whale one. On top of that, it's too expensive for such a small place (just a few tiny exhibits).

my son was bite by a 6 foot red tail boa in the eye and park enployees did nothing but stand there. had to carry my son all the way to the front were they gave him an ice pack then we had to call 911, after all that they promised a free tour and swimming with the dolphins, they have declined to do it so far.

If you are visiting to see Lolitha, killer whale. Please don t go as they just gave lecture during whole show. It was horrible. Other shows were good and watchable. I would suggest to go early in morning by 10am so that you can watch all the shows and be back by 1pm.

The shows and the place was great!! It was an amazing family vacation for my family. We have come here the last two years as part of a family vacation and the shows teach a great lesson to my nephews. But it only got 4 stars cause then after watching all the shows we saw one of their employees throw trash in a bush. It broke our hearts to see that after watching all the shows.

Do NOT. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE. WRITE THE COMPANY INSTEAD and tell them to free Lolita to an open sea pen where she can live out the rest of her days the in the manner she was supposed to. BUY TICKETS TO SEE WHALES IN THE WILD INSTEAD! This is torture and don't be apart of it. #Blackfish #Lolitaslaveentertainment

This place was NOT worth the money. It is SOOO expensive (for $55 dollars I could get into a lot of theme parks in orlando that would keep me entertained the entire day, this place kept me mildly entertained for a few hours). It looked really old and dated too, the animal's habitats looked boring and I actually just felt bad for the animals living in there. I went on a sunday & there was hardly anyone there, idk how they stay in business. Guess that is why they have to charge so much. When i saw the price i was expecting it to be spectacular, but it was anything but that. I walked around the entire park and saw everything in an hour (not including the shows) and then had to wait around for the shows. I will never be going here again.

I went there four years ago on a whim with my grandmother, and right from the get go, this place was a mistake, the admission was $40 a person and $8 to park and the parking lot does nothing to accomondate the amount of people visiting. The entire place can be seen in a hour and a half, the cafe was were extremely filthy, their were flies everywhere we sat and they followed you from table to table and the response from the workers was like "what do you expect us to do about it". The animals look very neglected, never have i have seen animals so sad, it's a disgrace. The park itself is falling apart, i sat on bench it almost broke, and thier motto is it's one of oldest aquariums in the US, that migh have been a cute motto if they made place look rustic and kept the place up to date, but it's just a cop out to let th place fall into disrepair. I agree with what some reviewers said and go to Seaworld in Orlando, it's a longer ride but you definitely get your money's worth, Stay clear of this place

This aquarium is fairly small and most stuffs are located outdoor. A huge parking ground for $10 on a weekday. For $50 per person for admission, lacking of senior discount, this place is more like a park for children to interact with the sea animals, isn't much fun for adult who wants to quietly observe and learn by reading up signs. The cafeteria and options of food stalls are terrible, hot foods in the cafeteria aren't even hot and the place is extremely dirty even though there barely any customers at the time me and my senior parents went. Overall experience is not good, could be one of the worst aquarium I had ever visited in North America!

It was great beside the fact that we went in August which is the hottest month in Florida. But on the plus side they had little sprinklers that you could stop at to cool yourself and your little ones off!

Not the best aquarium I ve been to.The turtle exhibit was horrifying, the turtles were covered in algae, the water was dirty, one of the turtles looked dead.. its shell was deformed (I understand that they are rescues) and it did not move for at least 10 minutes while we were watching to see if it was alive or not. Regardless, we shouldn t be coming to an aquarium and questioning whether the animals are possibly dead or not. Most of the tanks that we saw were empty. The whale show was not happening today for some reason. There was maybe 10 fish tanks to see. One lonely and probably stressed out deer. The gift shop employees were rude. It probably took us about an hour and a half to see the entire place, which really doesn t justify the 50 dollar per person price tag. You d think Florida would have a better aquarium to show for itself. The only redeeming event was the dolphin show that went on. The manatee, sea lions and dolphin handlers were knowledgable and friendly also. I do appreciate the conservation efforts, and taking in animals that need to be rehabilitated - so if the ticket prices go towards that, then I am okay with it.

10$ for parking. 52$ to get in. About 5 large pools/exhibits. 2 touch tanks. About 15 parrots. And about 10 aquariums. I enjoy animal attractions and actually read signs and look for the animals in their enclosures. I went through this within 45 minutes. Although they have iconic marine mammals, wasn't worth the money. Killer whales and the discovery area was closed. As were most of the food stands such as Pinky's and the BBQ place. Maybe cheaper tickets during the week if not as many things will be open.

I have been here a couple of times and it's always fun. The staff is very helpful though a little on the young side, especially in the evenings. I only mention this because sometimes they seem preoccupied with each other more than with helping the guests.

They have several shows and tons of exhibits. One day isn't really enough time to see everything this place has to offer.

Get there early and hit every show you can.

Its was expensive. Family of 6 was $150 entrance fee. That's was 50% discount for military. We wanted to swim with the dolphins, but at $150 per person we passed. As far as aquariums go it was small.

My wife came here with her mom to experience swimming with the seals. They drove 5 hours just for this event. The event was unfortunately rained out. They were told not to worry, as they would get a refund due to the weather. At first it seemed like everything was going to be handled properly, and there would be nothing to worry about. We were told we'd get a refund in 7-10 business days. It's been nearly a month, and still no refund. To top things off, they are now ignoring all of our calls and emails, which tells me they have no plans on issuing our refunds. While the event seemed like fun, I can't recommend this place. It seems like a complete gamble with the weather, and should the event be cancelled, you will not get your money back.

Too expensive. Try do not go a cloudy day because you are going to lose your money, they receipt people a cloudy day but do not make the most interesting shows like the whale. Parking has an extra charge $$10.

I honestly don t know if people where paid to write a review but I for sure now believe the protests about this place! The conditions of the fish tank was horrid you could not see anything! The sea turtles seeing them was heart breaking the water was disgusting! The place needs a redo for sure. too many dolphins in one tank!!! The employees need to be fired! They don t do there jobs! But was stuck with me was conditions alone. We left and asked for a refund and the manager tried to tell me nothing wrong with the tanks! Please believe me I really want to start a petition to help helpless animals! Such a sad day! I don t know how people can even write had a great time they must be blind!

Keeping an Orca 15 years past the expected life expectancy in captivity is incredibly selfish. It is deplorable what they are doing to Lolita. How is it in her best interest to die 50 years before she would in the wild? This place makes me sick. I sincerely hope they have to return Lolita to the wild, they've already profited enough from her misery.

This was depressing and sad.

Maybe this park would do better with some rides and invest in the buildings that are falling apart.

If you pay for this park, f you. Honestly if you pay for ANY marine mammal park that holds orcas and dolphins captive f you. Watch blackfish on Netflix and educate yourself on what you re supporting by your funds for admission tickets.
