Mia Lounge
Great place looks amazing but food not great and prices are high. But shisha great and warm
Good shish lounge, decent food and alcohol served as well, open til quite late, bit expensive, but overall worth it, can get quite busy, might have to wait for shish table
Shisha is getting better than last time I visited which was over a year ago but still not great. Either coal is not good quality, or the flavour is not original. Service has definitely improved though, the people serving are now really polite.
The place is quite mediocre. The shisha was average, and the prices high. The customer service is above average, but not amazing. The music was far too loud.
Being 1 out of 2 customers in the restaurant, we waited over 1 hour 30 mins for our food to arrive. Regardless of booking beforehand, the waiting time was ridiculous. The customer who arrived after us got their food straight away - only to be told that there was a misunderstanding, the chef cancelled our order . When the food finally arrived, it was average and not the best. Manager wasn t very accommodating and didn t handle the situation to our expectations. Would not recommend & definitely would not be going back.
Great shisha, good customer service and decent food but msuic is way too loud. Music plays at 75-80dB... Have to use earplugs to protect the ears! Even when you ask to turn it down they never do.
Its OK, a bit overpriced for what it is... food is average...
Avoid like the plague, would give it -20 stars if I could, food is horrendous and staff are an absolute joke
Manager is a very very very rude short bald man. Quite old arab looking. Other than that place was ok.
Poor need to sort shishas out either the customers dont know what shisha is or both owner and regulars customers are none the wiser waste of money!
A very nice night out spent with old friends, though I'm afraid the experience was spoilt by a specific server who thought it was appropriate to ask where I was from, bow with his hands together and then later on, after taking a photo for us felt the need to make slanted eyes at me. I had spoken to the manager who was very apologetic though not sure whether he thought I misinterpreted the server's lack of English for some inappropriate racist gestures. Besides that, other servers were pleasant and the food was nice.
Worst DJ.. he was playing songs from flops songs and old 80s songs. Bollywood night DJ was played Ng all bhangra songs then y it's called Bollywood nights . not a place for young people.. slow services ... Wouldn't recommend anyone..
Average foods, meat was hot and stew was cold. Awful service. Asked for ketchup which never arrived. Asked for shisha after dinner but other people arriving after us went before and then my husband who is the calmest person in the world said we are leaving. Trust me go to acton huqqa longe instead as then it s guarenteed perfection
Authentic Lebanese food, offering good value for money. Restaurant is on the first floor and on the second floor is a Shisha Lounge. No access for wheelchairs.
Dear Mia restaurant, While the food was alright, your server needed more training. Adding insult to injury she told me that at least I'm getting some of the humus to go with while the rest of the table get to go home with their full meals. No apologies. No attempt at reprise. Just a cold blank stare with the words. "Oh, would you like me to fish the food out of the trash for you?" Shame that this is stated as a good restaurant. There is no service. No smile. No appreciation for clientele.
The Sheisha is cheap compared to a lot of dark and dingy dungeons. The exceptions are not excepted for a window seat. It's all about money again. Theey put tea bags in your mint tea, I found 2 tea bags with old mint in the tea. The hot More
Been there for the traffic light party. We bought tickets that include an open buffet. Food selection wasn t good and not worth the money. Atmosphere and decor was nice. Restaurant has few floors and we only saw 1 security guy. There was a minor fight that started, so the waiter had to give the 1 security guy a hand. Unprofessional staff, they are too casual and sometimes went on the dance floor for few dances!
Nice place with good shisha .. the only negative thing that the music load too much .. even people there talking so load for hearing each other so imagine sitting there for 2 hours what will happen!?
My wife was sick with food poisoning the next day. Nuff said
Bit weird to have shisha indoors. Staff is more concentrated on chats between themselves that paying attention to customers
A good spot for a relaxed evening. Can't fault the bouncer (with the cool moustache) - he's great! I'd recommend Mia.
Visited the shisha section upstairs. They had a good variety of shisha flavours - the Cuban Mojito & Skittles duo was very good. Was served very quickly and refreshments came soon after. Good, clean washrooms and decor is nice too. The music may be a bit too loud for some looking for a quieter place to hang-out, however. Generally a good atmosphere.
The restaurant itself is nicely presented; small, intimate, and cosy. On visiting, there was only one waitress serving the entire restaurant. I actually felt bad having to call her over a number of times for service, as she had her hands full for most of the night. Unfortunately, this made service extremely slow, and I became pretty fed up with all of the waiting. I'm only sorry I didn't take her name, nor manage to leave a tip for her, as I was so frustrated by the time we managed to pay, that I was eager to escape the hostility that came when we queried the bill. He grudgingly removed the charge from the bill while telling me it was 'from his heart'... I'm definitely not impressed, and I definitely won't be returning. Two thumbs down.
Shisha and food here are on point! Service is 1st class. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for
Regular visitor as I love the atmosphere, the shisha and the food is awesome!
As a shisha lover, this is my regular haunt. It s not perfect by any means, but especially if you are a regular this place is awesome. The shisha area is at height with glass windows and a decent view, with plenty of 20-40 s coming in and out of its doors. The quality of the shisha is undeniably quite good, as the staff do pack the bowls quite well, and use legitimate brands. There s plenty to offer from the menu as well, my personal recommendation being the lamb Khashkhash with extra chilli and garlic sauce. This place can get pretty busy, but in winter months this is actually a positive as the place is quite warm, without compromising on the view. I note some of the negative 1 star reviews on here, however, if you are a regular you get treated like a VIP - and I love that about Mia s. The staff and manager are actually really friendly people, if you take the time to get to know them. Plus, having seen how demanding and rude customers are to them every night, I can see why not every experience may have been excellent. Personally, I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Five stars for me!
One of the best spots for shaisha in London for sure
Not the old Mia that used to be across the road, furniture is not so comfortable now.
Complete let down on new years eve!! we got told different things what to expect but as we arrived the atmosphere and setting of the whole event was a big disapointment! The event was 9pm -2am but we only stayed one hour! Food was cold and not very good! We were told we would have seperate tables but we were squashed on a big long table with no space to eat or move around! In pictures the place looked completly different but this was not the case! I just wished they would be more honest so that our new years would nt have been ruined!
This place was awesome! We smoked shisha and ate hummus into the wee hours of the morning. The staff was great and I loved the party like atmosphere. The decor was modern and cool. Overall I have no complaints... and I highly recommend trying their desserts!
Great food! Authentic cuisine, good portion sizes, extremely tasty, good service and a very enjoyable evening had by all.
I have been visiting the lounge once every month minimum over the past three years. Started off as great service and sheesha but over the past couple of months the sheesha quality has gone down. Due to staff changes the service has also started to go down. I still visit as it is easy to get to, but would not go out of my way to come to Mia. On the food front would recommend the hummus, falafel and halloumi salad. Meat dishes are a hit and miss.
Went twice their shisha was great. Service was fast there was a long qeue to get it but was definetely worth it. The view outside is decent too
Painful experience. Once arrived to smoke a shisha, no place we waited on the stairs until a place is free and nobody come to take care of us. Once found place (place for two people then we were four) tight as ever. We change places to say a better, such a place for two. Very nice waiters we offered a place of 4 person that was released, the manager come and shouting demands we returned to the other place with a superiority area telling us that the people who we changed places was at his services and that he was the one who ordered in a bad way, we decided to leave the place. And thankfully because when we left we found an even better with a very nice welcome.
Lovley atmosphere, Deliciouse food and a decent selection of drinks. Easy to for a nice bite to eat.
Great food, nice atmosphere and the service was good.
Beautiful place, very nice food. Every Sunday we gather with friends there, downstairs to play Mafia game, which is fun. And we need peace and quiet, so it's gives us this opportunity! Very tasty milkshakes. When I tried first time I was wowed, very cute taste. And I was waiting for a next Sunday to have it again. So, very nice cosy place. On top roof kind of garden, it's not huge and nearly each table smoke hookah. I don't smoke, but the smells are still so nice. Big TV s with cool compilation of music videos. I love the entrance, nice design. The Atmosphere is relaxed and dimmed lights are pleasing. Beautiful decor.
Very busy Friday, Saturday and Sunday night - don't even bother coming in those days. There's a time limit as well, two hours. If you want to stay longer, you'll have to spend another 18-22 pounds on shisha. The vibe here mostly revolves around your money rather than good customer service. You have to wait on service for ages sometimes but Other times they're quick. Atmosphere is extremely lively, you can't even hear your own thoughts let alone the people you have arrived with. Some of the staff are really amazing, but like everything else.. There's good and bad everywhere, so try to avoid the bad staff who take the piss etc.. Other than that, it is a nice place with good food and shisha.
It's okay, the vibe is okay, nice decor but the shisha was not nice at all. Service is very rushed.
Great atmosphere and good Food. Would definitely recommend
Got there at 11pm, and was very hungry. Got myself a Shawarma and hummus for starters, then the Mixed Grill for main course and the Milk and Cookies for dessert. Everything was excellent. Only reason I didn't rate 5 is that they never served me water, even though I specifically asked for it.
Very good place to chill, smoke shisha and eat Lebanese food. One of a kind in London to smoke shisha during cold winter.
One of the best shisha in town!!! I will strong recommend it
Place is really nice and the the upper floor is cozy to have shisha and watch matches
I called ahead I see if I needed it book prior to attending, staff put the phone down on me. I called back only to be shouted at on the phone. Against my better judgement, I thought I would give it a go. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our order and another 20 minutes for drinks to arrive, only to be served the wrong thing. Staff were rude and unwilling to change the order when asked. The place however was nicely decorated, played good music and had a nice vibe.
Been here a few times. Really chilled out lounge with very good staff. The lounge is well lit and very nicely designed. Food is 10/10 and so is the shisha.
The management member Ahmed is the rudest and most shambolic manager ever - no respect whatsoever
Came across here as I was looking for pre-theatre food! Quick service, clean environment and good food. Great lunch time offer in London too!
The shisha here is best. Its super smooth and the flavour doesn't burn or get harsh. The atmosphere Is super relaxed and the staff are friendly and talkative.
The food is on point. The vibe is excellent. But it's just too loud. They need to turn down the volume so people can actually talk with each other.
A very nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order. We went in a group of 20 for a hen party. The food was good followed by good shisha. Nice party atmosphere in the shisha lounge. Was very touched by personal service from the owner himself. The whole group were given complimentary tea and baklava to end the night. Service always with a smile and very patient with us. If you have the opportunity to go eat there, do not hesitate! Definitely going back for the lunch experience.
Terrible. Customer service at it's worst. If only zero stars was an option. Not usually one to leave bad reviews but when the manager of a place is to blame it's a shambles.
The overall experience was good. However, the seating arrangement upstairs could be better.
One of the best shisha places in London, amazing shisha and comfortable place with great customer service!!
Took a date here yesterday. Waitress dropped two dish plates near me, one spilt yogart on me, expecting the manager to be sympathetic I welcomed his council, instead he patronised me by telling me I'm sure you've dropped something in your home. I find the ultimate dissapointing factor in most of these London shisha joints is the terrible attitude if staff.
Went for our Xmas party, poor quality food and not a very good venue for a party
Shisha is disappointing - you get these plastic disposable pipes which feel like feathers in your hand. For a London shisha bar though, it's not bad - at least it doesn't taste like charcoal.
Food is the ABSOLUTE worst. Shisha and chips are the only reason they get 3 stars. Food is DRY and VERY BLAND.
I would give this place (-5) stars if Google would allow me. I read on their website that the chef had put thought and care into the menu and decided to give it a try. My friend wanted shisha so we ended up on the top floor/zoo. Several men were walking around putting coals on shisha pots, we tried to place an order with him. Which was a mistake. He wrote nothing down and forgot half the order! My friends food and main arrived before my drink! It turned out he had forgotten to place the order for my drink or main. So we waited. 20 more minutes before my first drink even arrived, it came after my rushed main which was meant to be a mussaka but was steeped in more oil than any other ingredient. The aubergine starter dip was very good with bread. Other than this one thing everything was terrible and the service was by far the worst thing I have ever experienced. I ordered another glass of wine, another 20 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. I asked a man walking hy with coal about my drink, he said it wasn't his job but he would find out where my drink was?? When it arrived, the guy said it wasn't his fault because it came from downstairs and they didnt bring it...the saga continued. Two of us were seated at a booth for four. They seated 4 more people next to us, eventually we had so little space, we just paid the bill and left. I always add service when it's not included in the bill. Today was so terrible, I felt like they owed me money! Never again!!!
Amazing atmosphere, great service friendly staff, food options, best spot shisha in London.
Friendly staff and great food, the bread was superb!
Great food, can be really cold as aircon on full blast
Prefect place for sisha but the service was a bit annoying as they take long to serve food. The crowd and music was totally great.
