I loved how this hotel's staff made my stay memorable. I know I only stayed there for two days but they never failed to let me enjoy my time there. The accommodation was absolutely great. I personally loved the pool area of the hotel and its diners. I can't say enough good things about my experience and this hotel, but one thing for sure is, I really had a great time when I was there! Thanks! Highly recommended!

Beautiful property in the heart of Koreatown. I was here for a design conference and was struck by the attentive service, contemporary decor, and overall pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean and the catered foods + drinks were excellent--particularly the Japanese alcohol selections. Recommended for events and looking forward to staying in the future.

Omg, where do I start. Valet service was impressive. He walked our luggage with us to the front desk and warmly passed us on. Front desk was SO kind and helpful. Luca, helped checked us in. He wanted to give us a water view on the highest floor, but it wouldnt be available for another hour or so. He then gave us the choice to wait, or we can decide for a water view on a lower level (which was still level 25) or a city view. We opted for the city view bc we like to see the city. Once we got in we realized the JW building was literally in our face and we could see nothing else. We called down to Luca and he quickly got us a new room with water and city views. His service was impeccable.

The hotel iself was just absolutely gorgeous. Our room- omg!! Beautiful!!! Love the sliding doors. Love the rain shower head. Loved the nightly pool parties and music going down below us as we chilled on our balconies overlooking the bay and relaxing the night away.

I cannot wait to come back to stay at the Epic hotel on my next Miami trip. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. No complaints whatsoever. Love it, love it, love it!!!

Know that you will be charged an additional $30 per night as a resort fee before booking. The parking lot is tiny so if you are using an Uber or similar type service plan to meet them at the road in front of the Kimpton. The parking lot was always jam packed and cars had a hard time getting in and out. We ended up with an adjoining room and that sucked because the door connecting the rooms was paper thin. But other than that room #2223 was very nice. The bathroom was really big and the balcony facing the city was large as well. But while there they did not offer daily cleaning (COVID) so while we paid full price we did not get the full price treatment. The pull area was normally full and on the first day they had one of the two pools with water in them closed off for a wedding. So everyone else staying there had one pool to use and the wedding party had a private pool. And for some ready three other pools on the other side of the hotel didn't have water in them. The staff was great and the location was close to Bayside and some bars (each about a 10 minute walk). It's a nice place but for $290 a night I am not sure it's worth it.

Unfortunate that they won t allow cancellations two weeks before going to stay with them. Made reservations less than 24 hours ago through Expedia and still want to charge me for a night if I cancel.

Bad way for me to start my assessment of this hotel.

BE CAREFUL: They scam you at the bar. The mojito pitcher is $75 and we watched them make it with pre-made mojito spritzer bottles you can get at the supermarket. The terrace is littered with empty bottles and dirty Kleenex tissue and we even saw an empty container of Sarento cheese slices near the pool.

The room assignment was a handicap room. I did not request nor did I need a handicap room. The bed was uncomfortable. They woke me up vacuuming the hall at 4:30 a.m. and the food is a three-star in my opinion. I will not be staying at this location again. I stayed here last year and it has degraded over the last year

It is always the same, says the valet parking staff that they do not accept a card as a form of payment and they ask you for cash, however on another occasion their response was that if they accept according to the hotel's customer service apologies, they are stealing from everyone's face loa del valet beware that the hotel is going to lose customers and we go every week

Had dinner at Zuma to celebrate father's day and even though we pointed out it was the first time at the restaurant for the majority of the people in our party, the service was nothing spectacular. We constantly had to remind the waiters to fill our cups with water or provide more drinks instead of them asking. We chose the tasting menu and a big oversight that was not mentioned to us is that no matter how large your party is, and although you pay per person, each person does not receive their own plate. It just doesn't make sense and if anything feels like a ripoff.

Nice downtown Miami views, spacy, well equipped and clean. Good sleep quality. In the room price add another 100 dollars for breakfast and parking. You pay 42$ per day and you wait at least 15 minutes to get your car! (The longer was 40 minutes). There was an attitude of arrogance from many hotel employees.

Horrible place , when i walk in to my room i found pubic hair and urine all over the toilet, my bed it was sunk on one side so it was pretty hard to sleep, i found 2 used swabs inside the closet and and some papers from previous guests, so
That shows how much they clean their rooms , and when they came to clean the room i was watching how the housekeeper lady it was cleaning the toilet with a rag then rinsed the same rag on the sink , pretty low cleaning standards , definitely i will never go back in there

Another Kimpton that just missed out on a five star rating. This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and nicely appointed, the lobby is very grand and the pool is brilliant. We particularly loved the free coffee here, it was delicious! However on checking into our room we discovered the door didn't lock. I tried ringing guest services five times and got no response and it was only when a member of the cleaning team happened to knock on our door did the problem begin to be resolved. He called an engineer who found that the door would take time to fix (he was very polite and professional), so asked for us to be moved to another room. The whole process took about an hour, and no one was in the slightest bit apologetic about the inconvenience. We were also moved to a room right next to the lifts which meant a 3.30am wakeup from some loud guests (admittedly not the hotel's fault!). We really liked the hotel, but at this level of expense we probably expected a little better level of service.

We stayed in January at this hotel before and after our caribbean cruise. Location is great for that, otherwise it's quite far from South Beach, with traffic we needed about 45 minutes with Uber. Reception is top notch, very professional and friendly. Stunning foyer with very chic and fancy people going in and out. We didn't see any kids. Early check-in was possible, but late check-out wasn't. Rooms were spacious and clean with a huge bathroom. Free bathrobes. Hairdryer was very dirty. Great beds. The rooms on the upper floors are better, so ask for those. Big Balcony with great city view. Unfortunately there was a loud noise coming from some pipes frequently, especially at night and it would wake us up. We didn't try to change rooms though because we were too lazy :-) I assume they would have let us change rooms if we said something, because the service was really great. Yes it is very expensive, but for Miami prices this hotel has a great value. We had dinner at Area 31 and the famous Zuma and both were an awesome experience.

Beautiful Hotel and Excellent location! Stay there for a few days and I honestly did not wanted to leave. The room was spacious, clean and the scent was unique every time I went out for the day and came back after the room was clean it was a special experience. The view was beyond words specially from the high floor I was in. A lot to choose from within walking distance, great restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. I would definitely stay here if in the area again hands down!

I was there for my cousin's wedding and the hotel was amazing!
The only thing is the doors are extremely heavy and the elevators are annoying.
Other than that, it's a great place to have a wedding!

First thing I look at in a hotel is cleanliness, second thing is staff attentiveness and professionalism. This hotel exceeded expectations on both levels. The food in the restaurant is exceptionally tasty. Room service is very prompt. My wife and I had a couples massage and while we get massages quite often, this was the best massage we've ever had. Laz and Jesus were incredible and will ask for them next time. Love this hotel. First time my wife and I were here but definitely plan on returning soon.

EPIC-ly misleading. In true MIAMI style it s all about perception not reality. Let s get the main points out of the way. The rooms are great and the staff is very nice. All the shower heads are rain showers (not my favorite given they out out no water pressure...think Seinfeld episode with water saving shower heads.) But the place is nice.

Now.....We booked through American Exoress Luxury-yards-yada-yada and they offered us a room deal (deal=upcharge) on the Club floor with access to the Club Lounge .....SWEET. Not-so-SWEET....the Club is a big, empty room. I went down to the lobby this morning to be told the Club Lounge is just a room we can use to sit in and relax? WHAT?!? Sorry Kimpton, Club Level and Club Lounge in hotel speak is a floor with amenities like breakfast, evening bites, drinks, etc. Not exclusive access to an empty room (photos provided).

When we checked in, a very nice guest relations member was excited to tell us about the property. When my wife asked about lounge access, the person at the desk assured us we had it via our key card. Probably a good time to also tell us it was simply an empty room.

Miami has great hotels...we ll spend our money with the honest ones (like the Marriott across the street)

Bonvoy-age Kimpton!

Two-stars for misleading guests to make a buck.

This hotel is not as epic as we thought...

We moved from the Hyatt Centric in Fort Lauderdale to Epic and the change of hotel really made us appreciate the Hyatt much much more.

The rooms aren t well lit, the first room we checked into had dirty floors which still had previous guests plastic tag on the ground with lots of dirt and dust. Would not have thought this was a 4 star hotel at all. The front desk gentleman Luca was nice enough to change our room, yes it was better and not as dirty. Thank you Luca that why I am going to add another star for this hotel.

Other than that, we asked for another lamp in the room in which we never heard back from. The technology in this hotel does not compare to the Hyatt Centric at all. Very basic and the buttons are washed out and dirty. No chrome cast available on the T.V. Outdated rooms and furniture. The table we couldn t even move to get to an outlet. No outlets are available by the table for us to charge our laptops and do our work.

Rooms temperature is not consistent and keeps getting less cooler and cooler which is weird. But not unbearable.

The bench that is by our foot of the bed has tufted buttons has dirt and food in them with sequin and just gross in them... it s pretty disgusting because housekeeping should be very attentive for each customers stay especially during COVID-19. Not cleaning up to my standard is understandable but each room needs to be cleaned at least up to a 4 star hotel standard.

Lastly, the valet, I called ahead before heading to the hotel and a woman was plainly rude. I don t have place for your Tesla, do you understand? That s what she said to me. Ok fine maybe I didn t understand her because I thought there were going to be chargers. Anyways our return to the hotel tonight really made me decide to write this review bc the valet another man this time, didn t do anything when we pulled at at 11:23 pm. He walked passed our car didn t say anything to me. I held me dog and started to walk away from the car and my husband was still waiting in the drivers seat. No cars were waiting only us there and he finally circle around and totally disregarded us and finally my husband got out of the car and then man talked to my husband. And we just shook our heads and walked in the hotel.

More pictures to come..

The hotel it self is nice and so is most of the staff.
But the valet is a mess and the customer service is trash. Not worth the $55 a night to valet. Especially when you have to wait almost 30 mins to get your car. Definitely needs some improvement. Overall the food was excellent and the drinks are great!
