Good concert venue, with expensive drinks and fairly good sightlines. Two large concrete pillars may obstruct views for some. The VIP section is above the bathrooms and a few beer bottles fell from hands and ledges. So think about falling glass.

Good sound; often overcrowded, but not as bad as 1015; steady stream of good acts.

Possibly the worst venue in San Francisco. There's a support beam the size of a redwood that obstructs the stage. It's a massive design flaw that needs to be addressed. The crowds are typically aggressive (a fight broke out near me in the middle of the Kim Petras performance I attended). I am unlikely to ever return even if it's for an artist I love. Artists, please stop booking at this awful venue. You're truly doing your fans a disservice by performing here.

Kind of "intimate" not a whole lot of space after 1a.m. but ATB was definitely worth it. I am going back for the artists that play here not the venue.

I was here for a Super Bowl 50 fashion show event put on by the 47 brand of clothing. Really great spot that makes a large crowd feel intimate yet not cramped. I'm not sure if the catering company was provided by the venue but if so the food was spectacular. Seems like a very transformative space that could accommodate most event/party types.

Favorite venue in the city. They have the best sound and get the best acts. Drinks are stupidly overpriced though.

The venue is okay, they book some great international acts and the sound system is solid, but the staff and crowd are both on the irritating side.

One for the history books. Glad I was able to enjoy it while it lasted.

Ok the sound can be good, the room is large. But, 20% gratuity no matter what is crazy. Then please put ac on!

Upstairs area overlooking stage and dancefloor gave a good birds eye view.

Great venue for corporate parties, concerts, and events. While it's generally a smaller and more intimate venue, it's a 2-story with an open dance floor so it feels more spacious. It can get pretty hot and sweaty in here if you are here for a concert. The sound system is pretty decent with a moderate amount of bass. If you get the table towards the back of the dance floor, prepare to be entertained by the people tripping on the platform edges.

Great venue, friendly staff, easy location to get in and out of.

A small venue with pretty lax security inside. The venue was fine but it was hard to enjoy the concert because people kept smoking inside of such a confined area.

I went here for a dance party called Dirty Bird. The dance floor was crowded and high-energy. I really liked the bar area upstairs -- perfect place to just chill out after dancing for while. I would not describe it as "classy."

Saw mc hammer here, wiz khalif, and other artists. Great spot to kick back. Also got great drinks!

The band was awesome and hanging with my best friend made it even better!

This small venue makes perfect use of the limited space; giving the audience plenty of dance space without losing the intimacy.

The VIP section overlooks the dance floor from above and includes seating.
Coat check and snacks near the entrance.
There's a bar with limited seating further back from the main stage.

Some really good times had here! Some great live music and fun dance music! Great bar staff too esp Chris.

Was here as part of an event that my work was hosting. Staff was excellent and bartenders were great, handling A LOT of folks with ease. Dance floor fit a lot of people and was promptly wiped when someone spilled a cocktail. Enough space to get a breath between songs as well.

It was cool, the crowd was a little on the young side for me though.

Reducing to 3 stars for their dumb and greedy decision to turn the entire top floor to VIP. Really lame.

I had the best time at this club. It's spacious & fun. But they stop serving alcohol at 1:30. So they only get 4 stars...

Always a great place to see a show! Lots of space, friendly staff, and a pumping sound system.

Can't get enough of this place. I go at least 1 time a month. They get the best Dj's and it's always bumping. The lines to get in can be long, but that is because the acts are stellar.

On multiple occasions the crowd here seems to just foster bad behavior. I ll avoid this place the best I can.

The main act was great, of course. But the 3hr wait before? How boring can music get in 2012? In Germany, there's a word for it: Kirmestechno. The visuals looked like a Windows clipart mashup, sigh. Also, "free PBR" - really? This redneck abomination of a beer? In a nightclub? Thanks, but no thanks. Not impressed :(

It's a popular place amongst youngsters, is very multicultural for sure. Wasn't very happy with the music though. Can get pretty crowded and expect some dirty (floors) towards the end of the night.no

Really cool high end tiki bar. The drinks are awesome, and the atmosphere is fun, dark, and Polynesian inspired. Don't go here if you're looking for more of an. Uncle's tiki bar basement vibe.

Brasstracks was great! But the venue was super hot. They need some sort of air with all the bodies in the room

Not respectful place. We waited more than 3 hour for the concert and left it. Woman on the reception every 30 min told the same "oh they will start in 30 minutes". 3 hours for begging?! Are you serious, guys?!?! Never again. Never recommend

Went to see Wale. Decentl stand only club/concert venue. Small bar and pool area. Crowd was chill. Wale put on a really good concert with two opening acts. Not a fancy place so wear something comfortable

Got in line at 930. Didn t get in until 1045 due to a long line. Missed the opening act as a result. Super disappointing. Long lines for bars once inside too

I've enjoyed 1 out of the 4 times I've been there. They over pack this place and the line was 2 hours last time. Only go when it isn't a big artist or dj, that was the only time I enjoyed myself. 1015 Folsom is the same, I no longer go there because of the fire safety hazard they cause from not being able to move

Great venue but extremely overcrowded. Couldn't even move to get a drink.

Over priced drinks,bad neighborhood, show starred much later then anticipated.

It's decent. Staff was friendly. Cleaner than most clubs.

This is not the biggest club in the world obviously, but everything is good really. Good sound, good shows and good people.

I went to the Mezzanine for a concert of Infected Mushrooms, the place is very nice and concerts too :)

Great sound system in the city for EDM.
Staff is chill and drinks are reasonable.

Came here for a Google Event, nice place with good sides, beer and pool.

Great venue

This place felt half way between a concert venue and a club, with a stage up front but also bricks of speakers and subs all over the place, so one can enjoy destroying their hearing from all four corners of the room instead of just the front. Definitely felt special to get so close to the artists without fighting your way to the front. I can't comment on the drinks but beer price was average as far as shows go. I'll definitely be back in the future!

I don t like this place, mostly due to a falsely-advertised 90 s dance party. I hope they close.

Funktion One sound system. Spacious floor. 2 bars. Big restroom. Nice security staff n bartenders.

Beautiful club, with lots of space. Sounds system is biased towards EDM, so concerts there are good, not great.

Bring in some up and coming artists when they have shows. Also some well known artists. Prices are reasonable and the crowd is generally friendly! One of my top spots for shows in SF!!

Pretty good club. Music was OK. A little to ravey for me but I could get down with the beat. Drinks weren't too bad. Most beers were $5-6. I was told it would be free booze from 9-10pm but I think it ended early at 9:30pm which was disappointing. The girl/guy ratio started out bad but got better as the night went on.

Went there for a solar company-band event. Was a really cool venue

I'm not a fan. The guy at the front wasnt very pleasant to deal with, the drinks are overpriced and automatic 20% gratuity added to drinks is annoying. I wouldn't frequent this place if I dont have to.

Decent venue with decently priced drinks. Saw two different artists I recently discovered perform here. Atmosphere here is pretty chill as I raged dance during one show and no one hassled my for constantly bumping into them and stepping on their feet. The only downfall of course is the security. I understand it's their job to keep a clear pathway so people can move about the venue, but during the second show I was at, I was extremely packed and the security guys kept upping the bass on their voice when telling people to move even though it was virtually impossible.

This place is usually busy.... As an Uber driver I have dropped off more people here then in most of the other SF clubs.

Good venue space. Good acoustics and sound for a show. Drinks are a bit on the steep side. But the designated smoking area with seats is key. Being a smoker, this place is always at the top of the list. Thanks for making us feel like human beings instead of cattle.

Not the best place to go but not the worst ether if you catch my drift. Mostly security wise. Way to strict!! Might be a good thing if you are a corrections officer not a bouncer.
