An unpleasant experience for some of the employees there, starting with the receptionist and the other who is at the window verifying the data. I appreciate that they were in a bad temper and almost gave the instructions screaming and denying.
They ask you to fill in forms and they don't have feathers
The service over the phone or in person makes you regret having both nationalities. Personel is rude and treat you like if you were a Moron. Trying to make an appoinment took 2 hours and was hung up on 4 times. Online? Forget it tried for 3 weeks straight and website was down no matter what time you try. What kind of service is this? Even the MVD does better!
Not really, what a terrible service they have ... nobody answers the phone, they only give you a lot of phones at all ... and I don't renounce my country, but the people who are supposed to help you.
On Feb. 14th and 15th the Mexican Consulate reps. that assisted us were extremely helpful especially Mrs. Rosalba Torres they all have shown professionalism , respect and integrity, their appearance showed nothing but perfection ( no tattoos, gross piercing, or bad attitude) we expected a typical government office full of chaos as in long lines, kids running wild, and upset and rude clients I was wrong! these consulate representatives are of the best to represent Mexico, I am extremely pleased. The people that work there are more concerned about socializing than about providing the services they are supposed to provide. Don't bother calling or going online to make an appointment as they will see you as they please instead of honoring your appointment. Completely horrible service. Had an appointment for 11:00, was finally seen at 13:00, waited for my passport only to be told that the system was down and they did not know when the service would be available. Off course, all of this after I had already paid for a passport that I did not receive. Completely useless bureuc-rats. Give the jobs to people who want to work and serve the public!
Rude people, seriously. The officer in the front would keep interrupting me. I was trying to ask him questions, and he would completely shut me out. I hope this doesn't interfere with the process, for getting wrong information.

It seems that they are just paid for sitting and you talk and talk and they don't answer more than the machine you need support and there is no one who wants to give you their bones and leave their mediocrity and get to work because that is what they expect. from here see all these complaints

One of the worst experiences we have ever had. It is always said that in Mexico customer service always leaves much to be desired and this was not the exception. The people in charge of serving you are too rude and despotic act as if they were doing me a favor if I were there for pleasure. We needed a paperwork and when I spoke to make the appointment they gave me the list of requirements and when I went to the consulate they asked me for another paperwork and they still scold me for not taking it if it was not on the list of requirements. Terrible service.

It seemed wrong and lack of help to process an ife, they did not want to give me my ife because the previous one was defeated .. ..clear that is over if it were not to renew now ife is expired 3 years ago in the regulation to the citizen and agreement of the INE and Mexican consulate .. it is never to deny or an identification to the citizen now I can not do anything because I do not have to prove that I am I can not get registration because I need the ife and my Mexican passport for not providing it an identification and I had to draw a current record because mine was very old finally present my identification expired and hai if mela accepted and expired but for my ife they were not worth all we have rights and ami denied me that hurts

I received great service. When I arrived they attended to me quickly. In 58 minutes they processed my passport renewal. All friendly staff. With an appointment you can get your passport in 1 hour !!!! Amazing!!! DO NOT GO WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT!
I went to the place on Saturday because it says online that they are open. We get there and they are closed. Call on Monday and can not get a real person to help you. Just need to ask simple question. But NOPE can not Talk to anybody.

very bad service I had an appointment and when I arrive they say that a machine is useless and that I will come back another day I am going very far! ... answered and not even know if they have fixed the machine ...... and I do not want to go to turn dioquis so far. and apart from that also very annoying that they send you from LINE TO LINE TO RETURN TO THE LINE !!!!

The administration is lazy as it takes in Mexico. I think all the people are from Mexico and they have the same type of customer service as they do in Mexico ... you go in the morning you receive info and the next day is something else. And to communicate is an ASCO NOBODY WORKS OR THE VOICE MAIL IS FULL
the facilities of the consulate are very bad, especially for people with disabilities, they are small, there is no place for wheelchairs, there is no hands on the stairs, you have to go down to a waiting room that has steps, and there are no ramps, they do not have the awareness that there are people of the third age or with some disability, unfortunately for my pedi it helps the information srita that repeatedly just ignored me or I could go down the steps, and up, when I went to pay the area is too much Reduced and have a base with wheels in the narrow aisle in front of the windows and slip, I only suffered a shame dropped in public and a bottle of water by an employee

The guard was very kind to us. Actually it all started with the old lady reviewing the documents on the desk on the right. She was grumpy, inaccessible and did not listen to explanations. It was very rough talking all the time. The procedure was for a voter registration card and it was not accepting a valid identification issued by the United States because it was not current Mexican. He wanted to be provided with another identification, when he was looking to process it. In the end he made an unnecessary comment and out of place, does not know how to be quiet. In addition, they do not report on the website, or when scheduling appointments over the phone, that the birth certificates cease to be valid for official matters after 10 years. We bought a birth certificate and even then the credential could not be processed. The consul was very rude and arrogant, to the extent of telling us that then 'we did not care' for not having processed it before. He questioned everything and did not let us talk to explain the identification. In the end he did not provide us with a really valid argument about why he did not accept the official and current identification issued by the US government and that, incidentally, when the appointment is scheduled by telephone, that document is mentioned as valid.
They never answer by phone, always send a mailbox. In an emergency, you really do not count on them.
There is no option for complaints and suggestions on the website.
It seems that they forget that they are public servants and are at the service of the Mexican community abroad. There are polite ways to talk to others. They should not behave like that, nor have that attitude of litigation with the public. They are not paid, nor are they held in that position to be rude, treating their compatriots as enemies. They do not have to get even with one. It was for them to be happy to represent our beautiful Mexico in the US, having the best attitude to guide, help and protect the Mexican abroad. It seems that the opposite is true, they are bad-tempered and rough, as if it bothered them that one was. What example are you giving?
Actually, I expected a more dignified treatment, but honestly it was a very unpleasant experience.
My experience with this consulate was totally enjoyable.
The people from the entrance were checking temperatures on the people coming and offering hand sanitizer. Likewise, they were only allowing people who were going to process which is totally acceptable since the present situation, we are going through.
Besides that, I was able to get my birth certificate and passport all of them in the same day. The ladies were very fast, efficient, and clear with the process. The waiting times were less than half an hour for the birth certificate and for the passport was less than an hour.

The worse experience ever, I when there today to do a menaje, I make an appointment with max Soto yesterday he told me what papers I need, today when I was there he change everything, and a the end he didn't help me , also he was questioning me about why I want to go back to Mexico if there is no job and no money, that is not his business he suppose to help people, no telling them if they are making a good decision or not. I really don't understand why they have this people working there if they never help people
I went there today, the guy at window 1 was very professional and my visa was ready the same day! Great job! I must say though I had received help previously to get all my paperwork in order first.
Excellent service...!!! I made my appointment online, I arrived 15 minutes before my 08:30 appointment, I was indicated by the guard where I sat, at 08:30 they attended me, I made the passport renewal process, in 3-5 minutes and It was done, and they told me to wait sitting, that in half an hour I would be delivered ..... after 20 minutes of waiting they called me and handed me my new passport, I left with a very pleasant feeling for the service provided by the Consulate staff Thank you.

Bad service on the part of the consulta do not follow the requirements of the official website and they hide that the information they give by phone is not their responsibility since they say it is an independent agency, too many obstacles to revalidate documents if this is the consulate's treatment hope we have as Mexicans
The service was overall unsatisfactory. We waited there for three hours just for a copy of a document. The people working there didn't even communicate with you they just made you wait for hours. They attended people before you had no organization what so ever.

Excellent service. On Saturday in 40 minutes I registered my son, on Monday at 35 he already had his passport. The vice consul was working in all areas and attending to the people who went to carry out some paperwork. The experience was very pleasant. I would go back to do some paperwork without a doubt.
They send you to mexitel and you choose the options they give you. Suddenly, the call is cut, how can I make an appointment?
The service is so bad it makes the DMV look good. Worst experience ever the staff should get trained on how to do there job and maybe how answer the phone it's not that hard but for the people working here it sure is
The answering machine asks many questions so that in the end they don't answer the call and it is a waste of time of 8 min.

I can t contact anyone over the phone. None of the options given could help me. It s so frustrating! As a senior. it s not always easy to personally go to the consulate, when a simple answer could be given over the phone! Why can the Mexican consulate do anything to improve their ratings?
